That’s the only thing they have going on is the drama they create at work. Feel sorry for them but stand up for yourself. If they mess with you, which they tried with me, I put a stop to it really quickly by telling one, “ I will take myself right down to Human Resources and file a harrassment complaint & then have a lawyer file a hostile workplace suit against you personally, if this doesn’t end now.” It ended that day. I meant every word. The negatively talking about you is creating a hostile work environment & it is illegal. Put down your foot now.

I was always sort of a nerd, other guys played sports. I played with electronics since I can remember. A very rich company offered me a job as a Service Technician/Engineer, I make lots of money have a company car, and a benefits package that some executives would drool over. All my relatives who once looked down on me have abandoned me due to jealousy, and so have all my long time friends. I don't understand this, if someone does well I am very happy for them. A least I have an incredible wife who loves me and supports whatever I do.

Don’t care about jealous people it’s good they are jealous it teaches me and reminds me how great my God is because God , Jesus thought me not to hate them but to pray for them . Just be careful and watch out from jealous people because they are capable of bad things . Jealous seems like a small word for it. It’s like they have some disorder in their being that draws them to you so much but mixed and stirred up in their psyche. They act like they like you but signs of their conflict with your being slips out leaving you feeling strange and confused, no matter what you don’t feel like you can be yourself with them, being their friend is exhausting and concerning.

Perfect example of what I have to go through! I go out of my way, I walk on egg shells around certain people, no matter how hard I try I can't seem to be myself around these people. I am to the point of quitting my job. But on the other hand, I also realize that if I do, then they win! If I quit, then they get what they want, so I'm trying to ignore it and keep going. I am also bipolar with very intense anger problems, and I'm afraid that if it doesn't stop, I'm going to do something I'll regret. I've went to my supervisor several different times, regarding several different occasions. I'm so stressed out with the situation.

I've never been a jealous, envious person. My mother is extremely jealous, and malicious. My entire childhood was consumed with her mental problems. As an adult, I've dealt with my share of jealous, mean spirited people. I'm old now, and have no desire to make friends, or stay in contact with family. My son, and my dog are the only ones that I care to be close to anymore.

It's true but it hurts more when it comes from siblings and a narcissist mother! Its not easy. But I prefer to follow my LORD path!

I have 3 brothers this way. I've always wanted nothing but God's goodness for them. The way they've treated me you would think I was a "stranger on the street". I Thank God for my mom, God rest her soul, clearly stating to me that ALL of my brothers were jealous of me. So hurtful to learn this truth from my mom. I'm more of a giver than a taker anyway, but only one person in my whole life has took advantage of that. It tore my world into and broke my heart. @lsky4446 ah, i hear you, I'm 35 now, but it took me till I was about 30 to start weeding people out. I must say that over the last 5 years, I've seen a huge difference in my friendship groups. I have like 4 friends I see and speak to regularly. I'm close to my parents but not so close to my brother and sister. We are just very different people in every way. I'm the baby of the family, so they protected me growing up, but I think sometimes that can cause issues. Because they protected me from how ugly the world can be if that makes sense and my parents are very nurturing, loving parents so I do kinda feel I used to be maybe more nieave to crappy people. Honestly though I I don't regret the love I give or my time spent. I just wish they could have been more receptive to what I was trying to provide

As God is my witness-------------I have never been, and never will be envious or jealous of anyone at any point in my life. I've always thought, if THEY spent as much time on their own life as they did interfering with mine, they would be a much better person.

“Best friend” since I was 13-14 that I saved from a bully. She had no friends. Started getting abusive and snooty snappy at me- started talking down to me. Then talked behind my back and turned other girls on me, and got them to bully me. I eventually got rid of her. I moved schools and everything. She took the career path I told her I wanted to take too. She came back into my life, and did the same thing. Got rid of her again! Then she came back years for more! Then I told her how her actions hurt me and she told me I was victimising myself. And then blocked me. So, what I learnt is if you want to get rid of someone in your life, tell them how you truly feel, that’s all I had to do the whole time. Cos, ppl like this have no empathy and never take responsibility or accountability for how they’ve made you feel, or what they did.

Well did you put effort into visiting her? I had a friend that would get engaged and not tell me and I always visited and I gave up. Effort needs to be reciprocated both sides.

Well, ignoring people and shutting them out. I tend to do that, but honestly how else am i supposed to react to toxic people who put me down and try to boost their need to feel supperior in every opportunity. It's no point talking to them unless I wan't to lower myself to their level and start pointing at them. Which doesn't work, because they completely disregard their own behaviour and only take in account your response and pretend you are the toxic, arrogant bastard who is envious and jealous treating them badly for no reason.

Plato said the best people are those with no envy, which made me feel a lot better about myself. I've been a "victim" of the invidious souls all my life. I'm living this as we speak, in two arenas, on two levels. This is absolutely the truth. I've had to deal with that sort of crap my entire life. The longer I lived, the more I accomplished, the worse it got. I always too everything to the limit. If I couldn't finish on top, I didn't start it. The road was long and hard, but I made it to the top every time and I always will. I learned from my mistakes and adjusted accordingly.

I don't understand why people do this....I just don't get it. I have dealt with this and I had to leave alot of people. I'm glad I woke up! But I still don't understand 😢

One way to tell if someone is close to you is when walking together, they will walk closer to you .

I’ve been dealing with a very envious person for years now. She displays all these features and more. Ignoring her seems to fuel her rage, she’s even blocked online… talks about me in public forums. And in person to anyone who will listen. It’s a challenge to my peace but I keep moving forward

My younger step sister thinks am jealous of her just because she graduated and I've not.She didn't even invite me to her graduation..The reason is am told there are some things I said about her which is not true..But her mother supports her and nobody believes me..I feel abandoned and I feel so bad that I cannot talk to my sister..I have tried asking for forgiveness just to have that peace with her..I swear I don't want us to stay like this..We need each other..I really don't know what I did to her..I hop that one day we will be good sisters again

I don’t post my successes and travels on social media and only use facebook for online shopping…and have few business friends and most importantly,for my eyes only😅no public posts 😊

I moved away from FAKEBOOK NEVER LOOKED BACK

I used to work this kind of person. No matter what I do for her. She always insult me she came to work with bad attitude all the time. I put up with her until I got really sick last year. I pray for her all the time. I pray that l don’t have to work with her anymore. And my prayers are answered. And I thank God every day that my prayers are answered. Thank you lord for everything you’re giving me. Without you I’m nothing.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Our neighbor hates us for no reason.

You do you! Others are God domain. Detach with actions, create space, cut time. And do not create aversion. Give them to the one who create them and has far more patience than you.

No one is chosen that's the mind creating separation like You Vs Them . We are one thing which is source energy.

Being jealous/envious is human nature. It's about how you are going to harness that emotional energy by choosing to be either destructive/bitter or supportive/happy to that person.

I had someone text me insults with a fake social profile and it's like I immediately knew who it is. It hurts but I'm holding on

I totally ignore these things. I am not responsible for their thi king. I am responsible for my behavior and actions.

Jealous people can be negative thinkers. Jealous people may not call you by your name, like they don't want to acknowledge you. Once a person gets to a certain age, it may be hard for them to change from their jealous ways. Just because jealous people may not change for the better, doesn't mean you can't improve yourself.

My own mother was like this! 😓

Many others, it doesn't really interest me to control others, I want to control more if what I do and bring into my life. I've foubd alot of jealous and envy ppl seem to already have more than I do. It's abit confusing, but majes me laugh cos they don't seem happy. I think when you have alot of light, or desire the persuit of light through spirituality, it can cause those who don't to be envious of you, regardless of what material things they have.

Rejection sometimes brings that… an the answer is stillHELL NAH!!

Jealousy and envy is q spiritual desise, they hate what God has made so there an enemy of God to.

The very first few seconds reminds me so much of how my mom snd sisters have acted towards me since 2016.

@@thaistomp You may not have had the desire to hurt others, but how many times have you said thoughtless, hurtful things to someone--even online? How often have you gossiped against someone--or been a part of a group that does it? How many times have you acted out in anger against someone that didn't deserve it? How many times have you didn't apologize to someone when you know you should? The list goes on. I've been hurt a lot of my life, taken advantage of, and I would never want to hurt someone else. But I know I have, particularly the people that have cared about me because I was wrapped up in my own pain and misery and I didn't see things from other people's perspective.

@@thaistomp While this might be a pipe dream, I don't believe anyone is beyond saving and if people are happy and healthy-spiritually, mentally and physically---they would never want to hurt someone whether subconsciously or otherwise. They would NEED to seek forgiveness and they would want to spread love to those around them.

I cannot even imagine the one who is suppose to LOVE YOU the most treats you this badly. I often wonder about these dynamics by the varied relationships between my mom and my brothers. I absolutely LOVED our mom. A couple of my brothers were the complete opposite. It's a sad dynamic but it happens. I pray for your heart and soul and all that you've been through. 🙏🏽🔥💯
