If you’re going to put Men as #1, you should probably be more specific about all the shit he did.

He ran a cheating ring in games. He lead the group and staked everyone. During a break in tournament, his room was raided with him and his cohorts are they adjusting the chips each player had. He was not banned.

Very poor video. No specifics given on the #1 Poker Villain just that he was the most ruthless. How? Why? Along with other villains in this video there was very vague information throughout the video.

I don't think it's poor. It's a decent video. It is a bit odd that more wasn't said about Men, but it doesn't ruin the whole video. It just could be better.

Lol bullshit. It’s like building suspense in a movie and then having no ending. The #1 villain should be explained in more detail. There wasn’t a single example as to why he is worse than Hamilton who imo was the worst. Weird video with little effort

So, Men the Master is #1 villain because he just won too much in a fair way?? Also, I agree with other commenters that Mike Postle and William Kassouf should've been on this list.

Men invented team play and chip dumping. He'd buy ten guys into a tournament and their job was to chip dump to him.

While I think having Men Nguyen at the top of the list is probably the right call, you didn't even scratch the surface of exactly why should be at the top. How can you get to the top of this list and not even give one reason why he deserves to be there? There is a history there that needs to be explained or at least listed out for the purposes of this specific video. While those of us that have been playing poker a long time know what Men did, it's a bit of a failure not to provide at least one solid reason why Men should be #1 here. And if you used the one thing I'm thinking about, it would have easily justified his #1 seeding.

I made my living in the poker world for many years. I've always asserted the poker world is full of crooks, con artists and scam artists. That said, you need to at least do your research before trashing someone's reputation. You have Men Nguyen as your #1 villain, but you don't even say why, much less offer any proof. I'm not saying I disagree with you, but trashing someone's reputation just because you say so is garbage. You also have your facts wrong on Jamey Gold. Crispin Leyser did not "back" Jamey Gold. He won an entry into the main event for being the top recruiter of players for Bodog poker. Crispin also worked as a poker teacher for the WPT road show. He was committed to an event for them and could not be there until Day 3 of the main event, so he and Jamey made an agreement that Gold would play with the entry Leyser had won and they'd split any winnings. By the time Leyser got there Gold had already amassed a huge chip lead. Leyser kept confronting Gold on the tournament floor, demanding he sign a written agreement he'd drawn up memorializing the terms of their verbal deal. Gold kept telling him he would honor their deal, but he wanted to be left alone so he could concentrate on the tournament. I personally saw Leyser harassing Jamey at his table multiple times. I also heard Gold tell the table he was playing at multiple times that he and Leyser had a deal to split any winnings. With all those witnesses, Gold could never have welshed on the agreement and from what I saw, he never intended to. As the tournament progressed, Leyser escalated. He was banned from the floor of the tournament. He continued ambushing Gold every time he stepped out of the poker room(s). Gold hired private security to keep him away from him. Leyser was then banned from the property. I thought Gold acted like a douche at the table. ESPN thought he was good for TV, so the WSOP never penalized him for his many rule infractions as he inappropriately talked in hands again and again, but from what I personally witnessed, he behaved ethically towards Leyser.

Kabrhel should be banned for life. Everything he does is dirty. He's worse than anyone in history. Just not a good human. He makes everyone else here seem completely pure. I disagree on some of these guys being 'villians' Hellmuth is absolutely not a poker villian. If anything he's the fake of poker. Mike Matusow is kind of the same to me. Those are the guys I root for the hardest in poker, they're the lovable bad boys of poker! Ferguson and Lederer and villians. They hurt the game of poker and nearly ruined the entire poker world. But I think they paid their dues. Chris Ferguson had every right to prove he's still 1 of the best of all time. It's gambling. It's a filthy backhanded shady cheaty business. You really think poker players aren't gonna do things like this? They're degenerates! Look at Phil Ivey! One of the biggest addicts in the gambling world! He's a nice guy but the guy gambles all day every day. And with Jamie Gold, I get it. It's his fault that he didn't cap the share. He should have told his backer he would share a max of a certain amount. But realistically, he had no idea he even had a 1% chance of willing. If he knew they would have made a cap so his backer would know he could get maybe 1 million max, etc
