What do you think would be your run and gun rifle come SHTF?

Can confirm with the Tikka. I have a t3x lite in .308 and it’s very accurate. I was able to get 1/2” group with mine at 100 yards using 168 grain Barnes TTSX. It paid off last week when I shot my farthest deer ever at 170 yards in late season. It’s money well spent as I put it.

Recently found your channel and found out we’re in the same town from this video! Thanks for the awesome content. I’m a first generation hunter trying to download as much info as possible and you do a great job of breaking it all down and providing easy to relate and remember content. I bought a Bergara B14 HMR earlier this year and would have to say I am completely satisfied with it. This rifle has exceeded my expectations, in accuracy and more importantly with consistent accuracy. Sub MOA groups with factory ammunition from 100 yards out to 310 yards. Which is the furthest I’ve tried it. This is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, which is new to me but appears to be an inherently accurate cartridge.

Really enjoyable video. I’m 68 years old and have been shooting rifles since my 20s. The two most accurate rifles I’ve owned are both out of production. 😢 I started out with an H&K 770 in 308. 50 grains of H380 with a 150 Hornady interlock netted me a best of 3/10 MOA and an average of 1/2 on a consistent basis. My next best is a 7 RM with a 175 Nosler ABLR over 62 grains of RL-25. Consistent 4/10 MOA! Oh yeah, the gun……your favorite!!!!! Thompson Compass!!!! It’s never shot worse than 3/4 MOA!

Just loaded up some 175gr ABLR in a 110 ultralite chambered in 28 Nosler. Last week I got 2/3 MOA with it so this week Im hoping for 1/2 MOA. Just a tad more powder compared to your 7RM with 84gr of Retumbo though lol.

OH THAT HURT: , Your Mention of The HK 770... As a Young person, I flipped a Page, in a Gun Mag and saw the all New 770 HK, and The...??? for 3006 cal. I almost Bought one. Now those are Semi Autos that are not Plagued with Issues Like Remingtons Auto loaders abd others. Tough , beast , accurate, Quality German Engineering. If they brought them back TODAY, Couldn't sell enough of them.

It’s my 2nd. hunting season with a Sig Cross .308 and it has claimed 2 elk with 180gr. rounds. I love how light, accurate and easy on target acquisition it is.

I didn't have any luck with any 180gr bullets, I think they would have been better off with a 1:9 twist for the heavier and longer bullets.

Mine loves the “cheap” Winchester and Federal 180gr. off the Walmart shelf…..lol. And both cow elk only took few steps before going down. I did try 150gr. and 165gr. and no bueno.

I'll give another bump for the Weatherby. 3/4 moa for mine (.270 win). Deluxe polished wood with the Monte Carlo comb.... looks and shoots like a peach. Ready for deer season :)

Agree. I purchased the Bergara Premier LRP in 6.5 with the XLR chassis about four years ago. I put a bada$$ scope on it that cost more than the rifle and I’ve been shooting less than 1/2 groups since day one with Hornady factory ammo. It appears to not be getting better after hundreds of rounds as I was told it would get better after break in. What I’m thrilled about, is that I’m out to a thousand yards consistently. When I’m off it’s usually due to me not being as capable as the rifle on windy days or low light. Super happy and it’s made in the USA. 🇺🇸

I'm fairly new to this channel but I really love the way you do things! AND... you've about got me talked into picking up a Bergara rifle. Not sure what caliber but it shows up in so many of your videos as a great choice. I do have accurate shooters in Savage, Ruger, Remington, Weatherby, Henry, and Tikka, where I've been able to find a factory offering they each shoot well. I haven't taken a micrometer to them and determined the order of best to worst, but each has a standout. Savage, an Axis in 30-06, 180gr Sako. Ruger, an American in .243, 58gr Hornady Superformance. Remington, a 700 ADL-V in 22-250, 55gr. Hornady Varmint Express. Weatherby, a Vanguard 2 with Lazerguard stock in 308win, almost anything 150-180gr, Henry, model H004 TMLB, a 22WMR with a 24" octagon barrel, CCI 30gr HV. Tikka, T3 Lite SS in 308win, 180gr Remington Core-Lokt Tipped.

One 22lr that you might be really impressed with for the cost is the CZ 457. Haven't watched the channel a whole lot so I'm not sure if you have reviewed one at all but I have a Varmint with the 16.5 inch bull barrel and AT One stock and that thing is actually pretty accurate. I have had 3/4 of an inch at 100 yards with Wolf Target Match ammo out of Germany when it was made by Lapua SK but from what I've been reading it's now made in England by Eley so not sure what the accuracy will be like with the Wolf ammo anymore but I do believe that the 457's do like Eley ammo so there may not be too much to sacrifice with the accuracy, if any.

Any 'accuracy ' list is incomplete and disingenuous without CZ 455 or CZ 457. Anything without CZ is dishonest and not genuine.

I’m completely new to long range shooting. Got a Bergara B14 HMR in 6.5 creedmoor. Paired it with an Athlon Argos BTR Gen2. I’m an average shot at best and was using a very wobbly front rest but, after break-in, I was getting 0.56” groups with factory match ammo (it liked the Hornady ELDM and Fed Premium Sierra Match King best) and even sub-MOA with cheap Aguila. Now I’m working on my first reloading setup. I was on the fence about reloading but getting those groups convinced me.

I wish I could say the same. I’ve ran about 80 rnds through mine trying to break it in. Aguila is giving me 15+ inch groups.. today’s 5 shot was 18! Hornady whitetail is about 2 inches. I don’t know what to do

My first national match AR 15 was an Olympic arms button rifled 1 in 9 . One day I was load testing 69gr Tipped SMK with H4895 and CFE223. I was prone with sand bags front and rear shooting a mr-1c at 100yd. I shot a .75" 5 shot with H4895 and then a 7/8" 5 shot with CFE223 that printed about 3moa above the H4895. Not bad for mechanical sights. Who says button rifle barrels are inaccurate.

My understanding is that Bergara hired in Ed Shilen as technical consultant . Ed started Shilen rifles as I recall in 1967 and I inported several in various calibers into the U.K. from 79 onwards. His button rifled barrels were so successful that Tony Boyer the doyen of bench rest used many of his barrels to achieve the greatest BR Hall of Fame points of anyone and probably all time going forward. A 22 PPC Ed built for me is still winning in U.K. and a 6mm Remington Ackley Improved was a 0.25 MOA rifle right of the box. I also had a 30-338, 264 Win Mag, 243 AI , 22-250 x 2 . Later Doug Shilen took over from his father and I continued to buy their rifles with select match stainless barrels and found all to be intrinsically accurate. Their own DGA actions were excellent Latterly I’m a Kreiger fan with Borden actions and Nesika getting the vote

Byjiggedy-do I just knew that my Shilen barreled upper on my 6.8 spc that was built by a Master Gunsmith that currently resides in my homestate of Texas is a dadgum precision, tackdriver All the dern way to 200 yds if the wind ain't blowing using 110 gr. Hornady Black! Never going to try anything else!

Just picked up a Bergara HMR pro in 6.5 creedmoor. It's my first hunting/match rifle. My other rifle is a mosin nagant which I'm happy to just hit the paper at 100 yards. Pretty darn excited for the range day tomorrow!

I have never seen you review or mention the Weatherby Vanguard. I love it!

Must beg to differ on the comment about button rifling...... The reason cold hammer forged barrels came into existence is the ability to pump out barrels at a very rapid pace, allowing factories to make more money... that's it. As a former sniper using production rifles, I would use a button rifled barrel over ANY other type. They take more time to build, and thus Savage and Bergara are among the precious few to make them anymore 😒. I followed world record bench rest for many years and NEVER saw a cold forged barrel.... EVER. Cold hammer forging brings good value, but not world record accuracy or repeatability over many shots. Nice video however 👍

Steyr and HK Hammer forge their barrels, did you ever heard of a inaccurate Steyr SSG? Lifespan of Hammer forged barrels is also longer, i would prefer a good hammer forged barrel, benchrest shooters usually use traditional cut barrels. And why should a button rifled barrel take significant longer than a hammer forged? The part that takes the most time is boring, that must be done on all methods. Button Rifled barrels are the cheapest you can get here, thats the reason i use them, i don't care if my barrel does 8000 rounds or 15 000. And in the end the resultit is more a question of steel, quality control and experience of the barrel maker than how its made.

@@marinioaweischo6614 accurate =/= most accurate. Just because HK and Steyr can make accurate hammer forged barrels, doesn’t the process has an equally high accuracy potential.

Sorry, that's not quite right either. Cold hammer forging allows a barrel to be rifled without disturbing the grain of the steel unnecessarily. This improves durability at the cost of accuracy. Button rifling, while more accurate, contributes to quicker deterioration.

CHF is a high production method that yields a very durable barrel. Single point cut rifling can give the highest quality barrel, but takes the longest to produce. Button rifling is somewhere in between. Based on the 2019 PRS survey done by PRB, the vast majority of the top 100 PRS shooters are using single point cut barrels. The remainder are using button rifled.

As a machinist, cut rifling is more precise and easier to get bore and chamber right. Alignment might be the right word for it. Same for the jam point in chambering. This rifling will get you a more accurate rifle. CHF barrels are made for durability and longevity. They were made for automatic fire. When you forge steel, you change the crystalline structure of the steel itself. It comes out harder, has memory (springs back when slightly bent), doesn't warp as easy if overheated or get shot oclambering. These barrels have a much longer lifespan. The MFGs that get forging right, forge the rifling and chamber simultaneously (like Daniel Defense).

I have a Bergara B14HMR…and I adore it. Great vid! Keep it up!

Would love to see you review the Sauer 100 series rifles, especially the Classic. They have been slept on for a few years now, and I believe they are made in the same factory as Blaser rifles. I have one in .308 and it is nailing holes inside of holes.

You should really review the Benelli Lupo. I just got it in 308 and am absolutely in love so far. I handload and am just getting started, but super impressed so far!

Love my Benelli Lupo. It is made very differently than most rifles and that yields some distinct advantages. Mine is chambered in 270 Win.

Rocking a Savage 110 Ultralite 30.06 with a VX-6 HD. Couldn't be happier with it.

I recently purchased a bergara B14 Ridge in 7mm rem mag with a brake. It’s incredibly accurate a little under 1/2in moa. Very happy with I. My previously leader is a Weatherby Vanguard in 30-06 had a break installed and it shoots a 3/4in moa. The first hunting rifle I purchased is the savage 111 in 270cal and I shoot a 1/2 in moa. I’m an old Viet Nam vet, who still loves to go hunting. I’m going on boar hunt soon and not sure which one I’ll be using, but the bergara is the one I’m thinking of at the present time. Oh, I’m using Barnes 160gr. In bergara, can’t find any federal premium anywhere.

Thanks for the comments! I have a Weatherby Vangaurd and a CVA Cascade. I am going to get 1 more western Elk hunting rifle and the one you got is one of the top ones I am looking at along with the Weatherby Meateater, CVA Cascade XT and Weatherby Mark V Hunter. What helped you choose the Bergara?

Yeah I'm getting the Springfield when I can, was looking at it and I think it's worth it. Building a similar spec Remington 700 would cost $3000+. Bergara hunter is another gun that looks great, very similar spec I believe

Jim, shot my Ruger American in .243 Win. today with the Vortex Crossfire II scope and had sub MOA groups with 3 different brands of 100 grain ammo, Federal, Winchester and Hornady. It is very consistent between brands.

That is the performance I get with my Mossberg 270 topped with the same scope.

I have a ruger American hunter, 22" 6.5 creedmoor. I was doing a later test for reloading, shot one group .324 and another at .412 during the testing, so I can really dial that in. It amazed me honestly because the barrel was smoking hot at the time.

I have 2 Bergara Ridge rifles. One in 22-250 and one in 6.5 CM with a 18” barrel. Both guns shoot about .55 moa. With factory loads. Great guns. If your in the market for a gun between $500-1000 take a good look at Bergara.

I got a Bergara ridge and dropped it in a chassis and can shoot very well at 1000 yards with a 300 dollar vortex viper scope. It is chambered in 6.5 creed and shoots 143 grain precision hunter rounds really well

I love that you Love to hunt with your kids. I never got to with my Dad but have with my sons and grandson and what special memories. Even if old G-Pops is the coming home empty handed. Keep up the great reviews.

My Tikka T3X in .270 and 7MM-08 are tack drivers I just returned from Colorado and my T3X dropped a big mule deer at 329 yrds with a regular scope not a 28 power telescope Tikka/Sako are really great

After I fixed the trigger my Ruger Go wild in 6.5C. Itshoots consistently under 1moa. It shoots a tad better than my Bergara B14 Ridge in 300WM

I was always looking for the most accurate varmint rifle 22-250. I had Remington, Browning, Tikka, Winchester, custom rifles you name it. Wanted a super accurate rifle so when I had a 1/2 mile sneak I didn’t want to waste it with a poor shot. Now I also reloaded as well. Bottom line the best/most accurate bolt rifle I’ve ever found was a Cooper. Always knew they were accurate but didn’t consider because they were single shots rifles only early on. Anyway honestly 1/4” and many times 1 hole 3 shot groups at a 100 yards. The best I’ve found hands down. Also looks great and it’s smooth.

I wanted a 2020 waypoint. But price, "magazine rattle" (looseness) and availability steered me to the Christensen ridgeline in 6.5 PRC. I absolutely love the Ridgeline, and it is an absolute track driver. Probably .3-.7 moa, a little tighter if I use sandbags and really focus. Internal magazine doesn't get in the way like a removable magazine does. I would really appreciate a review of the Ridgeline! Then I could know how it stacks up against everything else, including 2020 waypoint (at least in your experience, which I value).

Ridgeline is as good as it gets for the money!! I went with the MPR! .300 wm but I'm building a 6.8 Western with a gun werx can and its amazing how those cans give it more accuracy lose no speed and silence the noise as much as it does

We’ve been asking him to review the ridgeline , he flat out said he wouldn’t , as he dislikes the Ridgline , especially the stock . I personally love the ridgeline , i have a 6.5prc , it shoots 147 hornady factory match ammo into bug holes at 200yrds . 👍🏼👍🏼

I just purchased the waypoiny in 6.5 prc. The gun is just wow. Yes the magazine is a little what, but i believe it's becuz the rest of the gun is so amazing in every sense of word that having an average magazine is almost like an insult. I will definitely buy an aftermarket mag, but the gun itself might as well be a piece of art.

I have the 6.5 PRC waypoint and it shoots really good. The magazine does not rattle when it is loaded with ammo

My most accurate semi is a .308 AR10 I built with a Matrix Arms matched upper/lower, 18” Lothar Walther barrel, 3lb trigger, Slr adj. gas block

The CVA muzzle loader you are hinting about has a bergara barrel

I had a 788 in .222, it was a tack driver. I got a 788 in 22-250, absolutely great. Then I got a Howa 1500 223 bull barrel. It shoots 5 shot groups that look like clovers. Majority of the time you seriously can't see where two shots went through.

Dude .. I totally agree. I have a 788, . Triple deuce.. and with my hand loads and Burris scope . It does shoot one hole @ 100 .. I carry a quarter on my key chain one hole . Just a little oblong so you can see where more than one bullet went through the same hole.. I love that rifle I love that caliber...

Just found your channel today and I like it! I find like someone else used to say "If it ain't accurate it's boring!". Have a bunch but believe it or the most accurate rifle I've ever shot was a Rock River Lar-308. Reloaded a few different recipes and sighted it in and shot 5 rnds in a hole I could cover with a dime at 100yds I thought that was a fluke! So I set back down and sent 5 more into that group and it never got any bigger. Blew my mind! Now the downside. 26" bull barrel that I thought about carrying it around with one of my farm tractors because it's so damn heavy!

Really like your reviews and I must agree on the Tikka rifles for the money they are hard to beat and a excellent trigger. Oh I meant to tell you that I loved the fact you was a Scout. I was too BUT a few years before you. I grew up back in WV. Well truthfully many years before you. Good reviews 👍

I have several bergara rifles and I love them all. My most recent is a 7MMPRC. I also have a 6.5 creedmoor and a 28 nosler.

I bought a beef Ada ridge in 6.5 creedmoor and it is absolutely amazing. I put it in a chassis and now with basic 143 grain hornady precision hunter ammo it is an easy thousand yard gun.

What height rings were u using on the Waypoint?. Im worried abiut not getting the adjustable stock.

Great video. Really enjoyed it. Surprised you've never owned a Sako.

I had a traditional muzzle loader ( a Jaeger, .54 cal) that would shoot into the same hole at 80 yards. I sold it, and never could get another traditional ML nearly as accurate. Live and learn!

@@TurningGuns I had a mod 99 in 243. When you worked the lever fast, it shot "automatically". Very cool gun. When I moved back to the States, I left it in New Zealand.

I was not surprised the tikka t3x superlite made this list. I was hoping I would see this rifle on your list. Can not beat the price and accuracy. Fairly price and the performance delivers. I love mine and have minimal complaints about that rifle.

I'm not surprised one bit that a Finnish rifle would make the list. The Finns love hunting just as much as Americans do so I would expect them to make VERY good hunting rifles. Oh, and they gave birth to the world's deadliest sniper: Simo Hayha, who was so accurate that the Russians called him "The White Death."

@@Rud1257 are you going to be using it for hunting? If so I would rather have the leupold. Imo leupold scopes do better in low light conditions but if you are not taking it hunting. Vortex is probably going to be cheaper with no real glass quality difference unless you look real hard. Both have very good warrantys. Happy shooting!

I shoot a Vortex strike eagle 5-25x56 on my B-14, but mine is set up for shooting out to 1000. If I were buying a vortex to hunt with I would get the viper. As far as the amount of light being let in, tube diameter is a far more important factor than manufacturer. A 34mm tube is awesome in low light, where a 1 inch tube is not very good at all.

Looked at Bergara for a new rifle, but my only gripe is that the safety does not lock down the bolt. Don't want the bolt popping open accidentally when walking in the woods. So I think I'll stick with Tikka.

I don’t know why this isn’t a bigger thing. Nobody would buy a rifle without a bolt lock safety where I live.

Funny enough, the most accurate rifle I own is a Bergara b14 ridge in 7mm rem mag and it LOVES factory Norma whitetail in 150 grains. .Best group is .45” and averages around .60”. I’m still tying to get a hand load that shoots as well as that ammo for me.

Just be aware that reloaded ammo voids their warranty. Makes me a bit stumped because I was looking into getting one. It seems that all manufacturers that have a warranty say it's void if reloaded ammo is used and the rest (like Browning) just don't have a written warranty at all, so you may or may not get any warranty (free?) service.

Based upon, mainly, your videos I got the .308 Bergara B-14 HMR. It's awesome.

I'd like to see what you think of the Mauser M18, or the Sabatti Saphire. The m18 is the only rifle with a 5 shot sub MOA guarantee with premium ammo for any companies 'entry level' rifle, and the Saphire has MRR( multi radial rifling) and the ability to change caliber. Respectively the m18 can be had for under $850 CAN, and the Saphire for under $1500 CAN.

I love the Mauser M18 and Sauer 100 (essentially the same rifle). Excellent no frills, reliable and accurate rifles for the money.

Everytime I watch a video where they mention selling rifles and regretting it, I always tell myself I won't do it again. Then I do it again. So hard not to clear up space once in awhile

Bergara B14 BMP in 6.5 creedmor was so smooth and accurate out to 900 yards. Phenomenal barrels and solid as a rock for precision and control.

My Ruger American Compact is just like yours. It shoots all the factory ammo I put through it at MOA or better, and my handloads are sub MOA. Pretty good for a $350 rifle. Funny enough, all of my "cheap" rifles shoot quite well.

You need to check out the Thompson Center Venture, mines in 30-06 and I consistently get .3 inch groups with it

Sounds like for the $800 price tag you can't go wrong with the Vanguard.

@Fred Wills I hear that. The one I was looking at is done in like a tan/copper color and had a threaded barrel so it was probably a little more.

I bought the Weatherby vanguard high country in 308. It’s shooting usually about 3/4 moa. Best ammo so far has been, barnes vortex ttsx 168 grain and berger match grade 168 grain

Have you shot the savage 110 tactical and how would you compare it to the vanguard or tikka in accuracy?

My most accurate rifle is my Bergara Wilderness Ridge in 6.5 Creedmoor. I’ve run 4 different Hornady loads and 1 Barnes load. All are sub MOA pretty easily. Just recommended the same thing to my brother in law.

I have a Bergara B14 hunter in 450 bushmaster since iowa is a straight wall cartridge state for deer, and it puts a 3 shot group under 1 inch even with those large diameter bullets

I have 2 Bergaras. I can’t decide between 270 or 30-06 so I got both. The B14 Ridge are the fire right now. Very accurate and yet it’s not going to break the bank.

CVA Paramount/Accura LR-X are on my list of things to get. The Accura has the same barrel and twist rate, just a different priming system from what I can tell and a hefty price difference. I have a CVA Optima V2 that has put down everything I have pointed at it. Not sure why you can't include in the most accurate rifles. It IS still a rifle, just a different class of ammo. And you don't have to go thru an FFL to get it!!!

Best group I ever shot was .75 inch. Three shot At 300yd on a freshly painted steel with a 3" orange dot painted in center. I usually shoot for groups at 300 and that particular rifle has on three occasions produced 1 5/8" 5 shot groups at 300yd

I have the Bergara MG Lite in 300WM. It's the most accurate rifle I own. I just shot a .19" 3 shot group at 100 yards. It is a little picky with ammo. Not obnoxiously so but groups are 3/4 moa with its less favorable ammo. I'm not sure if that's just the gun or some quirk of the caliber.

What scope do you recommend for the 6.5 sig cross specifically?

Great video. Glad the 110 Ultralite made list since I bought one in 30-06 almost solely on your review last year. I love it and the hogs in CA hate it.

Love my Springfield waypoint in 6.5prc. I like my Fierce carbon rival in 7mag a little better. I can't believe you didn't mention your Carbon Rival. Mine shoots .5 all day and not ammo picky.

I had a bergara and it was a great accurate rifle. The thing would never miss and had a well made and durable stock. One thing though is that it was too heavy to carry in the back country when set up with scope, and that sucked. Had to sell for that reason

I can’t get over the weight of bergaras either. Definitely too heavy to carry too far from the truck.

I am looking at purchasing a new rifle and trying to decide between the Bergara B14 crest and the Springfield 2020 Waypoint. I would like your thoughts on both.

Do you ever do the barrel break in process when shooting new guns? You have great group and was wondering your opinion on it.

I've never bothered and find accuracy fine. Just don't buy a new gun and put a few boxes through it in a few minutes. A good load, shooter and sensible rate of fire are much more important.

My most accurate, for me (in my experienced life), is a Weather Mark 5 Accumark with Accubrake, in .270 Weatherby Mag Interlock at 130 grains. I started shooting/hunting when I was 5 yrs old, .410 and .22LR, and am 50+ now. I’m not really sure how or what all the Weatherby can do, but at the range I can pretty much hit a tennis ball all day long, never missing, at 500 yards, if I can afford the ammo. The ammo is pretty hard to find, and the blast is extreme from the Accubrake (although the recoil is nothing). It’s my guess that the gun can shoot better than I can shoot it; it would be interesting to see what it could do if I put it in the hands of a younger (better sighted marksman). I think, though, that the .25-06 would be a better round, overall, and probably much easier to find in comparison to the .270 Weatherby Mag. Also, the 6.5C is nice, but I think I like the 6.8mm more. The .277 Fury looks to be the next great round, but we’ll see; the ballistics on it are off the recorded history charts.

My most accurate rifle is a T3 Lite stainless is 243. I did modify the tupperware to not contact the barrel and dropped to lowest trigger pull aprox 2lb. With factory ammo is under 1" but with handloads average is under .5 best group was .060" with 87 vmax and hybrid 100v

I’m saving up for a higher end 6.5cm, I already have the reloading gear & used to have a TC Compass 6.5cm, now I want a Tikka Upr stainless 20”. Anyone have experience with the Tikka Upr? Performance for price?

I've got a Howa 1500 in 243 win. That there 22 in. barreled Hogue stocked doesn't care if it's a Winchester or a Remington 100 gr. soft point, as it will poke all three rounds into a single hole at 109 yds. Have all the targets in picture frames on the wall of my hallway. This is the only rifle that I have that I am very happy to never have to reload for! I will be very happy to see Remington start putting out a bunch of ammo in the near future.

Sir, can you do a review on a Winchester model 70 30-06 shadow Planing to buy one but have not seen any reviews reviews. Does the barrel need to be free floated for more accurate shots 🤔

Enjoy watching videos where the research has been done. Obviously many hours and resources were expended to create this content so thank you for that. Do you have research or opinions on larger calibers at longer ranges?

Just a heads up for reloaders. I've been seriously looking at the Bergara b14 lineup in a 7prc and in reading Bergara's user manual found online under their warranty is says the following: and for those who'd desire to harass me for a specific reference from Bergara - its on page 32. Quote: "...below will also void the warranty:....use of impropper ammunition (e.g. ...reloaded ammunition, ...)." Just something to be aware of if you reload, which I do.

@@Extra_Ordinary_Gary get one, won't be disappointed with your M18. Only downside, which will be brought up is the base model doesn't have a threaded barrel. Newer models do though.

Savage Mark ii In .22 lr. That thing is a Lazer at 100 yards. Shooting 3" steel at 25, 50, 75, 100 yards and goes Bing all the time with a Vortex Diamondback 5-24x50.

How many shots per group for these? And letting the barrel cool down all the way? Or just sending them?

Never happened again. Assuming ammo got hot.

100% on the Bergara Ridge! Mine shot around .625 during the barrel break in. I'm now getting as low as .320 with hand loads if I do my part. It's a 6.5 CM
