She either only moves empty boxes or has never seen a box in her life
Nice confession. We still love you!
iv done it before, but i couldnt do it with that target
I think they are talking about shooting full auto all across the body.
Reminds of when I worked in a gun and archery shop for many years back in the day. So many people are full of shit. I used to brag about my furthest successful shots on deer. Now I'm proud of how close I can get to them. Shooting animals at long distance isn't hunting it's shooting. Also, I'm reminded of a particular passage in The Book of The Rifle, by Jim Carmichael. Jim was talking about competitive shooting at long distances. He walked out just in front of the target and checked the wind there. A season veteran told him, now he's getting it. You can't do that while hunting. Nobody should be shooting animals at 600 yards. That's ridiculous and unethical.
I’ve been hunting elk , moose , deer , bears and goats for over ten years . I run mid range vortex and bushel scope and the only time I’ve had a scope get knocked off is when I had my 35 whelen fall out of the truck and land directly on the scope . If you use good rings and torque properly your scope should never go out of zero without a fairly major hit
Got to remember, they use More precise equipment than available to us! Close but not as precise!
Whats the moon made of?
Not a pro shooter, from my experience though, there are 4 variables to accuracy. 1)the quality of your platform 2) the quality of your ammo 3) weather 4)you. 97% of the accuracy comes from you. Blame the other 3 all you want, but at the end of the day, its up to you to learn the gears limitations and your own.
It’s been fun watching this channel evolve! Keep it up moose
PCP rifles are wicked accurate. Shot to shot velocity on my daughters is 1 fps. It's possibly less, but my chrono resolution is 1 fps.
I have a Bergara B-14 HMR Wilderness in 300PRC and I love it! Feels great on shot even from the ground! And the recoil pad doesn’t have the hot spots either. Great Rifle!!
Interested to know what bipod you used on the brx1. Looks good
This is a simple problem. If your rifle is 1/4-1 moa capable, then it becomes about the ammo and your trigger discipline and simple fundamentals check your zero before you hunt/shoot a challenge like this. Reloading makes a big difference in your group sizes if you spend enough time perfecting loads for whatever rifle your gonna use. All respect to the guy with the super fancy AR but, without calling out a few things, that was hard to watch. If you are missing 6-8 inches high at 100 yds you are doing something very wrong, if the gun has been properly zero'd.
Young man has no baggage of ‘thoughts’. Just basics with a nice rig.
Never knew that the guns in assassins were realistic 😅😅😅
The 200 yd zero (maximum point blank zero) is from before there were handy affordable range finders. Dialing your turret for every distance in the field is less practical when you're essentially guessing at the range. It also works well in varied terrain where even a slowly walking animal might be out of sight before you can get your range finder out and dial in the elevation correction. Also, while the method you're showing is a good one and works well, I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a rifle hunting without following that up with a couple groups shot at 100 and 200 yards.
As a long time shooter of the 7mm RM, it's a personal favorite, has never let me down. I now also have a 7mm PRC and it's simply an improved version of the RM (no belt, better shoulder, appropriate neck). I think the 7 PRC is the best of the 30-06, 7mm RM and 300 WM all combined. If the 30-06 has killed all big game in NA (it has, I have the book), the 7 PRC will do it just a little bit better. With the higher BC bullets (same weight), the 7 PRC out performs the 300 WM when distance increased. I don't get hung up on "anything new is better" but if the cartridge has a belt, it's antiquated and outdated. I have other chamberings including 270W, 30-06, 7mm RM, 308 (2) AND 6.5 CM but the 7 PRC can do anything they can do and better. I like simplicity and 7 PRC rules the day! I'm not hung up on short actions, the 6.8W and 270 WSM are on life support.
Please!!! The release 😢
The suppressor plus the NFA tax stamp probably cost twice as much as the rifle.
Come to the Paradise Rod and Gun Club in Paradise Ca. Bring your check book. Then try shooting hen eggs at 245 yards and aspirin at 100 yards. Off-hand...
It's basically a Rem 700 clone, which is a good thing. The twisted fluting on the barrel is cosmetic and a distraction, at least to me. The stock is rubbish, reminds me of the tupperware stocks in the 80s when they first came out. If I owned a Seekins (which I would not), the first thing I would do is replace the stock with anything from McMillan, Manners or AG. There is nothing I like about the rifle except the receiver and trigger. For the money, there has to be better options, I really don't see the attraction. Edit: After further review, I see that it's not really a Rem clone. I like the company but simply can't find any reason to like this rifle.
Hand loads, a great gun, and young eyes gets it done!
Also known as "the librarian's gun"
First video by this channel that was garbage
Hmm the 308 never made the list for the same reason the 22LR never did. They both can do it but WHY???
On the bullet what are those ridges after the dome/round part of it and what are they for?
Its crazy how bad people are. I would be willing to try this with a borrowed rifle. At 14 i was shooting against my dad on who could hit more thumb tacks at 100 yards. He had a Remington 700 7mm mag and i had a Winchester model 70 30-06. Just basic deer rifles
Accuracy test with no rear support? Not a test…
White tail deer ypu have a 16'' circle kill zone
EMILY IS TOTALLY AWESOME.
I did the same thing when I was a kid. Dad never noticed with pellet guns, but when I started shooting with optics he noticed me leaning over the stock. Turns out I was cross dominant. At age 6 he switch me over to my left shoulder. I've been running left ever since!
I've seen videos of dudes taking moose with 30-30 lever actions. Should you hunt with low-power cartridges? Probably not. Can you be successful with it? Definitely.
I have a 22 cal rifle it was my sister now it mine .The barrel screw on & i have a issue on keeping on target .i have ask other people but never gotten any feed back on my problem keeping it shooting on target can you give me your opinion what i need to fix this problem ?? Its a Browning 22 long rifle
Jim, do you have any thoughts on the new Weatherby 307 Alpine CT? Would love to get your insights on that rifle. Right now it’s a toss for me between that and the Springfield waypoint
MOA and the whole imperal units are terrible... Metric and MIL is so much better. Just try to understand the system.
Too bad right on video a prs champ placed a barrel stub in a cup of classic and it very clearly visually as well as measured with a mic showed serious erosion. The better question is why with plenty of great carbon removers would you use a chemical that is proven to etch 416 SS. You now have a number of action manf putting out warning labels to not use clr. It's like when Erik makes a video on never chase the throat erosion then he proceeds to show you he absolutely chased the lands. What does he think he is doing when he finds a range in jump that groups well and he sets it to the least jump (longer bto length). Then when the erosion passes the jump maximum for that node he increaees the bto to reestablish adding powder as needed to restore the velmnode. Sir that is literally tge definition of chasing the lands. You want to keep within your jump node and vel node. Chasing the lands once you fall out of the top end of the jump node you reestablish at the bottom of the node again and reset the vel node to the middle usually. Now if you want to change the definition to mean checking after every round or group and reestablish even tbe smallest change regardless of being still in the node then sure. But that's moronic.
I love the Ruger American rifle
Marcos created a communist military in the wake of the martinluther king take over of the us government was my understanding
With all the 6.5 PRC and 6.5 Creedmoor fan. I haven't heard anyone talk about the little 6.5 Grendel. The 129gr can be reloaded for all 3. What are your thoughts on the 6.5 Grendel?
ah, thanks for the tip
Always!!!
How about a 6.5 WBY VS 6.5 PRC head to head comparison for hunting? 🤘🏼
What is that pistol?
We need an update with AB.
Na you need earmuffs for a 22 that's crazy i have no earmuffs when I got turkey hunting with my 410
Seen .25moa from stevens i dont think its the gun its the shooter with a crap trigger
I’m sure Arken paid for half of the shilling in the video.
Scope punched
I still don’t know what the gun is
