Yeah...frist I thought they are kept alive and they will milk them once every month or so for a long period of time or something like that But this sounds more like a way to extract the maximum amount of fluids instead of thinking of the snails.

They are also extracting the slime by making them be terrified for their life, so even the process itself is animal cruelty
If all the diamonds in reserve were released onto the market, they would be worth no more than GLASS. Contemplate that.

And if all the gold in reserve flooded the market, THE SAME THING WOULD HAPPEN!!! 😂 Gold is just a random metal. Sterling silver used to be worth more than gold, did you know that? Silver is worth like $25 an ounce now and gold is worth like $2,000. Gasp 🙄. There is no “conspiracy”

It's amazing to see how innovative companies like Ecovative Design are revolutionizing industries with sustainable alternatives like mushroom-based products! 🍄 Their commitment to eco-friendly solutions not only addresses environmental concerns but also offers exciting opportunities for market growth and consumer choices.

Those have been a thing for years Since like the 1980s Ivf and genetic selection. I guess if you mean fully genetically modified babies we technically haven't done it yet (although we can). There are people who are made in labs who otherwise wouldn't be alive today since the 1980s thanks to labs. Edit: supposedly China made a hiv resistant baby so I guess we have started genetic modifications too.

Pork Belly should be the next to be engineered to vegan. Adding that layer of fat on the skin so that it’s crispy and chewy when roasted will be tricky for scientists though..

well , humans are a part of nature. what it means is using the natural world and natural science to create solutions
The lab grown beef steaks was very freaky 😅
I’m mostly plant-based, only having wild caught fish on Saturdays. In the plant-based world, there’s enough modern recipes to keep anyone happy without resorting to eating lab grown meat. I’m aware I am not the targeted consumer for this product, yet I have serious concerns for the nutritional profile of these products. While they mimic muscle tissue, they lack the nutrients found in whole meat products. And there’s no studies on long-term consumption, because these products are just starting to come into the market for consumers. Will these products cause cancer and/or other health complications when consumed long term? Regardless, I won’t be consuming this.

incorrect. lab grown mean could easily surpass the nutritinal value of "whole meat" products if they were manufactured properly. and yes, since red meat is a known carcinogen, its likely to remain carcinogenic despite its origin, but i imagine lab grown will still be superior, even disregarding the moral component of being more ethical than killing a living being to obtain it
1000% no go on lab grown meat
There is this saying; you are what you eat. Imagine you eat labgrown food, what exactly are you than? In other words, natural (not lab) is healthy and that's proven for as long as we exist.
Nah.. you can't replace bacon, beef, chicken with fake ones, changing it's chemistry and making it "sound healthier" may seem ok to some, but we'll see the after effects to human biology years later on. Dairy/milk lab grown products may be a good alternative though. Snail/slime story is pure GOLD🏆🏆The many uses and markets it reaches is astounding to hear. Seaweed zero plastic also very promising and will have the biggest impact. Great watch, super informative

I suspect it will be nutritionally barren, meat gets its vitamin and mineral content from the diet of the animal, I'm not surprised the fake salmon has a very delicate taste, the meats taste comes from diet, we have known this for thousands of years, so we will have fake meat, with fake flavouring added and vitamins and minerals added from somewhere else as they can't be made in a lab.
We can't confirm the flavor.... Kkkkk.

Do we really think cow farts are worse than semi exhaust, cargo ships, and trains? I have seen trains puke black smoke for 12 hours that I have ran them. How many cow farts does that equal? We need to start eliminating things that poison the atmosphere but cow farts pretty low on the totem pole.
