Great video Prof. I have a doubt. I am modelling a material which is linear-elastic, perfectly plastic and undergoes instantaneous damage. But the problem is the material undergoes larger values of elastic strains, almost till a strain of 150%, it remains in elastic region. So can this code be used for the doing the same? (I have to use ductile damage model)

As you might be knowing it that models such as Takeda describe the non-linear section characteristic of reinforced concrete beam and column. How to develop Takeda elastic-plastic model in ABAQUS in order to simulate the response of reinforced frame. Could you please help me in this regard ?
I want to delete elements based on temperature criteria(only thermal laser load). How can it be done in Abaqus standard 2017?
Do you have any plans for LS DYNA code?

more on UMAT and VUMAT URDFIL USDFLD FILM DLOAD UEL all basic lectures, but as far as I know there is not much on this topic available in the internet (at least not for free). I hope it attracts more subscribers and viewers to my KZread Channel.
