9 Holes. 9 Tips. - South Fork Disc Golf Course - North Bend, WA - Front 9

Спорт

Trying this format out to see how it goes. Wet and windy out there today. Let me know if you want to see more like this! Got the back 9(with the bomber holes) coming in hot tomorrow if interest is there!
Back 9 here - • Back 9 Jacked Time? - ...
Was having a bit of spinning out going on today. Think I will start warming up with one legs before the round to ensure I'm keeping that back leg in place and condensing the hip snap a bit!

    I didn't realize you were in Washington State. I'm from Seattle, so it's nice to see Washington State peeps represent :). Great video man, it's nice to see the stand still game in action. Keep em coming! And I like the tips/what you are thinking for each shot.

    I love south fork! Played it for the first time last year when I visited Washington! Even watched someone ace hole 1 the moment I pulled up to the course.

    Yes, more of the this and the tech disc throws. I think both are necessary so we can see the raw power but also how it translates. So thanks for being vulnerable and doing a course vid. Appreciate your content!

    To power down on hole 4 for example, instead of changing your brace or trying to slow down your arm. Try not reaching back as far. This allows you to still feel like you are throwing normally, but your arm doesn't have the space to accelerate so it will come out slower. This is comparable to a golfer shortening the backswing on a chip. This one tip made it possible for me to throw 150 foot backhand approaches after years of being unable to.

    Way to keep up with consistent posting Clint! I'd love to see you throw that fireball flat on 3 and 6. Should make those holes pretty high percentage for you.

    Great vid, and I'm really enjoying the content you're creating. I'm very new to disc golf (started in January and have 6 rounds in now) it's been helpful to watch your videos and get tips from someone also on the journey to get better. I really like the standstill tutorials. Since I started I've been adamant that mastering standstill is crucial even though my disc buddies are always pushing me to x-step. Anyways, i hope you do more of these on the course videos. Cheers.

    It’s nice to see everything in motion on a course! Also a big fan of seeing other courses, but especially scenic ones! Honestly think your video quality is already excellent! Watching on mobile and didn’t have any issues tracking your throws unless they pushed 400, but I think that’s to be expected without someone manually zooming it down. Focus was pretty clean, audio quality stayed solid! Great work!

    Considering adding a zone to the bag. Very easy to control distance on forehand upshots, and would make holes like hole 1 a breeze.

  • @scottw5253
    @scottw52534 ай бұрын

    Common sentiment on upshots/approach is long is preferred over short. Other than OB/trouble long of the basket, a shot that comes up short never had a chance to go in. Yes, you can land it short, and let it slide for a drop in, but a shot flying chain high could go in. Landing short has zero chance.

    Curious, on hole 7, can you throw something fast and OS, and aim wide and low, hoping for a skip through the trees, under those branches? Feels like the branches are the big stopper, not the trunks?

  • @BlitzDG

    @BlitzDG

    4 ай бұрын

    Yep! Someone else gave that advice as well and I tried it the next run through the course and absolutely parked it.

  • @alexanderjagell2963
    @alexanderjagell29634 ай бұрын

    You asked for tips. On hole 7 I would have used a knee putt with the kind off puttingstyle you got. So you can get under the branch and push for more hight. But for 10 months your game is looking good. I just think you need more experience and smooth out how to get close on let's say a forehand approach. We'll played.

    Yep. Quite a few people do it. My roller game is kinda dog tho, and you have the chance of rolling up one of the trees and that spot blows!

    One tip for wet days or courses, clip on multiple towels (some cotton, some microfiber) to make sure your disc is dry. If it is on your belt loop, it can dry somewhat as you walk.
