That blind bot is actually a very good idea. I know most ppl think it's a first world problem, but I'm disabled. I've never even heard of this before, but this would make so many disabled people's lives so much easier!

The nice part about this video is that it's different. We all have tens of fidget spinners, hundreds of pocket knives etc - but this is new and I like it!

The curtain / blinds "robot" looks pretty cool. I'm a big fan of the TP LInk Kasa products for home automation of lights/outlets/etc. No special hub required, but I did eventually add a cheap wireless router and moved all my devices off my main wifi so it would cut down on latency for my other devices. Works with the usual suspects of assistants. We also have a Google Home Minis all over the house so we don't have to get out of bed to turn lights on/off or find a remote, or even find my phone. I just wish they would make a device I can install in my ceiling fan so I can control those too. There are ceiling fans out there that do this already, but they are pricey.

I believe Lutron does fans but a costly alternative... unless you have the metal string ones you have to pull, then it's just will power to get up
