In Episode 20.....I finish up the electric in the living room and start the long process of getting all the window openings ready for new windows. The current windows are old, poorly installed, flashed, etc and overtime they have leaked and rotted out the framing. In this process I am knocking out the rotten wood and framing in the openings. The plan is to have all new vinyl windows installed, which makes a huge difference in the comfort of a house and its appearance. It's been a while since I posted a video, I've been working on the house and doing other projects, working at another property and trying to have a nice time without always having the camera rolling. It was a nice "break" but hopefully I can get back to the videos now. This video was also a little off beat, skipping around what I was doing and also did not work on the farm table mini series...all that will resume in the next video. Glad to be back, thank you all for hanging in there and your emails checking in.

Even if you have to add a "1" in front of $9,000 house, you are still going to turn a bad house into a good one. That sweat equity is admirable!
Glad to have you back. Without putting pressure on you, you should realise how up lifting your videos are. Well done

I love your channel! I've been binge watching your $9000 house series while I remodel my own house by myself. Your filmography and editing are amazing, getting better with every episode! I love your sense of humor. The part of this video when you fixed the soffats almost had me in tears. You're my hero, man! Well done. 👏
Glad you posted. I’d been wondering how things were going!

Oh no! No footage of the concrete exercise block? Hopefully you still have it. If it is ever demolished it must be filmed! :-) And, maybe even a ceremony.

I kinda like that concert stand he should make a table out it . He hits it at least once in each video. The house has good bones. That what that concert is saying. 😄😀😂🤗

No words necessary, your facial expressions are priceless. I love your work ethic, attention to detail rebuilding as if you were going to occupy the home. Kudos
Oh man, the only KZreadr I actually care to comment on their videos about. Super solid work. Lovin' them can lights
Hey how abt a video on how your rental and rehabs have done over the years? Such as a timeline of when you started, how many rentals, how each deal has done. I’ve followed you for a few years and really like what you are doing. I do a version of your buy, rehab and rent myself. Great content !

Don't ever ask Mat Risinger to fix your rental's, lol Thank's for the video. Real inspiring as usual. Great to have you back! Love the music.
I laughed at the 6:30 mark when you're doing the old 'safety squint' when you have safety glasses on the top of your head. I laughed because Ive done the same thing haha. I really enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the hard work!
You have the best background music of any home repair-er/ diy-er! So calming and never obnoxious. I don't instantly want to turn off the TV when my husband puts your videos on. 😁👍
Nice to see you back, Mr. Homie. :-) I'm in awe of how you've practically rebuilt the whole house. It's going to be sweet when you're done.
Welcome back, been a bit worried about you.:) And excited to see more of the House.
That work up so high on the ladder had me holding my breath. Scary! Beautiful sunset from your window! Love watching your work!
I realize that the extra work you are putting into the house in 2020 is over and above what you planned, but for me as a viewer, it is a gift that keeps on giving.
This series is the only reason I come back to KZread. (Besides asmr)
Finally a very long wait has come to an end. Love from India 🤗
Its always a good day when I see another one of your videos pop up! Glad your doing good! I know it's the low point of the process but your doing great! Just one step at a time and you will be done before you know it!
How is the family? Glad to see you are still working on the house. It’s a labor of love. I see you care a lot for the product you make. God bless. 👍🏼✝️❤️
Great to see a new video. I can't imagine how much work goes into each video. So thank you and I look forward to the next one.
Great to see another episode! I'm also starting to think not knowing when the next video is going to come out is a good thing. Makes it more of a treat than an expectation.
I love how you are very deliberate about the hammering and tearing out old boards and windows.
Get'RDunnn lol. Good to see ya again. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello.👍🤚
Glad you had a good break from being on camera but we're glad you're back!! Excited to see the progress of this house.
I love watching. You do an awesome job wish I had the skill do take on project like this . Glad there are still people out here who enjoy this work 💯👌
You can tell you’re more of a finish carpenter than a framer. Very detailed work framing in windows and soffit work, but I bet it makes you feel better. Great work!
Was so happy to see a new video today, and to know you are well.
Nice to see you again.
I missed you! Welcome back!

Glad you are still around and doing well, brother man! Sorry about your frustrations with this house. I think I can speak for most of us when I say that we can ALL tell that you are really going to transform that house into something spectacular! If you keep posting, I'll keep watching! Thank you sir!
Hey !! , your back, this $9000. house ain't no joke, I can't wait to see it when your finished.
YEAAAAHHH!!! Nothing like jumping back into a big project. SO glad to see you back at it, you always provide me with motivation to keep on with my builds!
You're a busy guy, Don't let the 9000 house get you down. It's coming along nicely.
Good to have you back.
You definitely make an old house a home. Thanks for another interesting video.
Homemade Home-I am so happy to know that you are alright. I was worried that you had tired of making the videos and was finishing without the hassle of the videos. Happy that I was wrong for once. Thank you for not quitting. You are fantastic! :-) This is a great video, and so are you.
Glad to see a new post, but I wanted to share my opinion. I do prefer hearing more of your talking throughout the video. Giving me some of your decision making and thought process behind what you are doing! Thanks for sharing!
So good to see you again, I can appreciate the feeling of the job never finishing, but you have the smarts to break it up with other activities like bush hogging 👍😃
Glad to see you back! I've missed your videos. Love watching them!
Glad you’re back!!! Looking forward to you being done 👍🏻
Glad to see you back!! Love the hero music!!
I did miss these videos, 'cuz they make me so happy..... Just this weekend my husband did some drywall. I didn't want him to do it!!! He made it look like a checkerboard. It is just awful. It's awful, I won't complain anymore. I so appreciate your work. Hey, I like all the music. The dramatic stuff was a good effect. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Glad you’re back. I offered to help ya
Watching you seriously inspires me to do my house. I painted 2 walls so far. I have learned so much watching your videos.. Keep it up.. sending love from Cleburne Texas
Your an encouragement to us all of diligence and hardwork. It's always good to see how far you've come with this house especially. At every corner there was a surprise waiting. So glad you haven't given up. Hope all is well with the family. Looking forward to the finished product!
HE LIVES! Good music choices. Found my self laughing at some of your faces..
Your synchronization of music is super! The orchestral choice with the windows was amazing!
Glad you're back, can't wait to see the end result comparing to what it was. :)
Yay! So happy to hear from you! Man, how long have you been working on this one?! It seems awhile, and I say that from my comfy couch. TOTALLY UNDERSTAND that you’ve had your fill! It’s been hard labor and you were ready for a break even before you found this deal. Enjoy other stuff and refill your pep. 😊
I'm so glad you're alive and back making new stuff. You've been missed.
Glad youre still kicking! Hope to see more soon. Cheers!
That house has been a real lot of hard work. Looking good from where you started
I’m glad to see you back on the channel doing well, I’m enjoying this house renovation series so much, keep plugging along. I know right now it seems like it’ll never be done, but soon you’ll be filming a final episode.

15:32 There is NO shame in functional and economical finishes! I've had it up to *here* with luxury housing. Extra money in the bank account at the end of the month is a much loftier goal than granite countertops.

fazdoll no ones using granite in luxury. 😣 But i agree with you 100% i work as an interior designer and everyone single project is luxury this luxury that. Everyone’s got marble and lacquer and custom flooring.

@@tswrench Because this guy is spending less money on the renovation, he can charge less rent. It's the renter who will have a little more money because he will be paying less rent.

Window framing - spectacular! Very detailed work done well!
Again, terrific to see the jobs done the right way. It is great to see the cripple, jack, and king studs going in along with headers. That will really help the structure survive. You are doing a terrific job. I cannot wait to see the end result, but I am forcing myself to take the videos in order. Keep up the great work.
FINALLY :) glad you're back!!
This is awesome work! Love what you are doing with this house!

Nice to see you friend... We've missed you 🤷♂️
Glad to see you back!
so satisfying to see all your progress
Hi, nice to have you back.
Glad to see your back.
Just ran across your videos a few days ago on this home and I have watch everyone of them including this one today. I wish I seen them sooner. Can’t wait to see the end result of this home. I do have some questions later being an homeowner myself. I am aware you have a book as well which I am going to get, can’t do the work myself cause I am disabled. First time home buyer myself but I felt I purchased a piece of gold myself for a little over $30,000 with 8.8 acres with a pond in the back and still has 🌲 on about 4 acres. Which I am going to sell to help with part on my rehab. I have alot of pine, oak, pecan, walnut and also a great deal of bamboo as well once sold can help with the renovation. But want my home gutted and done right but I have had different people beat me out of money since I moved and purchased the home. It’s so hard to find honest people that will get the job done right. If I could do the work myself I would but I just pray to god I can find an honest person like you to gut and renovate my home.
Thanks for not being dead.
Good to see you again..
I'm to the point that, I'm reading the comments prior to watching. Sadly, my Vegas bet, on the house, doesn't seem to be working in my favor! Lol Best of luck to you and all that read this!!
So good to see a video from you, I really enjoy them. Love to see the fun stuff too. That ladder is so high and scary.
Good to see you again. Great work as usual. God bless from an Aussie sister.
Great to have you back and hoping to see more of work take off
Nice to see you again, can't wait to see the tiny again.
This is a good channel. I enjoy the work and craftsmanship you put in.
It's interesting watching you renovate and rebuild parts of the house since the building techniques in my country are vastly different
You really make your houses solid. Good work.
