We should all respect our elders. Most of our elders have worked hard,raised families,and deserve our time. They are able to share lots of stories and considerable wisdom. We are the blessed ones if we still have the elderly in our lives! All my older relatives have passed now and I do miss them terribly. But I wanted to comment on how cute and cozy her home is. Tiny homes are just my style. Easy to keep clean.The rest of the day I yours! 👍🏻

I met Barbara this past February when I was out walking while visiting family @ ITH. She was out on her deck and said, "Hi! Do you want to come in?" That's how we met and you'll find that out for yourself when you visit ITH. Her house was adorable and so is she.😍🏠

Your Oma is one smart woman when she designed her little house, may she have many more yrs with her little dog.

Barbara needs to use vinegar to deter the weeds instead of the chemicals and poison in the over the counter weed killer. It works excellent and doesn't affect the water table/source.😊😊

@@erindud8106 Check online for the vinegar epsom salts and Dawn Dish soap. Plain vinegar never worked for me either but this recipe did. Just have to apply when hot and dry. Worked well for me.

She a woman after my heart, I keep my house 66° to 67° in winter, bedroom 57°, summer I just deal with the heat because I'm an outdoor person, love her house, her little dog reminds me of my Pasco I had for almost 15 years he had seizures since he was 11 months old vet said he only live 5 years, he out lived the vet, miss my Pacso

This woman proves that you can adapt a tiny home to inlude all the comforts we would expect in a larger one with less of the maintenance. She solved every problem her own way and added extra conveniences not found in more traditional spaces.

Did anyone else notice the 'pup-pup's adorable little "tent" bed...It's so stinkin' CUTE...Barbara's such a character...I bet she's lots of fun & that her friends treasure her...I can't wait to see her new place after she moves in...Thanks Randy, for this interesting tiny home tour!!! I saw a video where a young couple live in an RJO. They were so happy to own a home. I think they got some upgrades and paid $25,000. It's amazing that two people can live in such a small space.

More cities and counties in our nation need to allow development of these small home communities. So many people on a limited income need the opportunity to have a home that is theirs and that they can customize the way they want it to be. This home she has created for herself is wonderful.

I've had people tell me so many times that I'll never be able to live in such a tiny space and I said; "You just watch me!" When it was finished I had a party with 30 people inside and out, and everyone had to eat their words! I kept hearing them say they wished they could live there! Hah! I showed them! Barbara has her act together! Wow! Such a wonderful home she's turned it into! I am so impressed!

Thank you for sharing you home with us Barbara!! You were so helpful to highlight important factors to be considered when contemplating to move into a tiny home. I really can relate to your need to have a full size fridge to cook by scratch because of food sensitivities. And also how you need it very cold to sleep at night. I never met anyone that has similar needs! It made me feel more normal because I'm not the only one that is like that. If you lived closer I'd be knocking on your door for an espresso and some fellowship!

Definitely enjoying these tours. I like that they are as is, lived in, not arranged for a professional tour. I like the professional tours as well. Barbara is great. She's spot on recommending you need to figure out your wants, nice to haves, and must haves for tiny living. Lucas is doing a great job videoing. A man of many talents! As a side note, I'm in Texas visiting family. Love the stars!

I’m simply amazed how people flush out a tiny home . In every way they are real homes for the people who decorate them and furnish them . I loooove these tours of tiny homes and Randy’s tiny homes are the very best of the best the very cream of the crop . People have tried to convince me they don’t have a good re sale value . This man has a gentle affirming soul !♥Barbara is absolutely gorgeous! I wish I knew how to get my makeup to look so beautiful like that. I feel so blessed to have found this tour. I am a 66 year old woman and I am just starting to live in an 8x12 cabin shed that I had built over and is on my own land. I have much to do and so many questions for others that live this way and Barbara has already given me some excellent information especially about the Vornado fan. That is one thing I have been fussing about is how to get ventilation into this space.

Thanks for showing Barbara home, it's absolutely beautiful and well organized. She is very organized. Nice to see how everyone decorates and make their tiny houses a home.

I agree, I like lots of blankets and the air cooler at night but not 50, closer to 65. Love all the great use of space.

Randy, I so enjoy watching all of your videos. So many different ideas for style & layout of all of your houses. You are a dear sweet lady. This place is so sweet and appealing. I absolutely love your dear little dog, l had the best beauty like her, my Dear Molly. She was mostly white with a slight apricot stripe down her back, 16 years. What a great way to retire and settle into comfort, the real “Easy Life!” Blessings to you.

Great lady with a cozy little house, she lives very well in her tiny space. Love the natural wood floor, the nicks and imperfections add character. I like the dark stain outside as well. Her dog is cute, chill and very well behaved, looks to have been properly socialized.

Hi Barbara! I absolutely love your home! My friend and I met you when we were there in August taking our tour. It was great chatting with you! We did make the decision to buy the 12' by 20' that will be going in the Grove! I'm so excited and can't wait until we are able to move down there!

I live a few miles away from there. I try to notice the things other people don't seem to see. Great Video Randy and Barbara. I am never disappointed with seeing the homes of people who live right there on the property, they are all unique for sure.

I am in Washington been here 22 yrs near the Yakama Rez. I am Lakota and powwow, sweat and hold ceremony with the gracious tribe. Love it here. However returning to Indiana soon. Retired now and want to be with family. It’s a beautiful state.

Ideal little space for an older person. I could live there very comfortably. As I have aged I have found that I utilize less space.

I’m 54 and I would love to live in this community. I would make the space work if I had the chance. The people are awesome.

This is so inspiring. I have a heart for mid age on up individuals who are still self sufficient. Providing a quaint place including a community to live out their last years of life with dignity and security. Support is so important in many ways for individuals who like simple. Great job! 👍❤️💞👊

I very much enjoyed this video. She’s a wonderful industrious and inspirational lady. Most of the tiny homes have the bedrooms upstairs which I think for most older people are inappropriate. Glad to see one that has it down stairs. And I’m like her, the washer dryer, refrigerator is extremely important. Love the low maintenance landscaping. She’s a beautiful lady.
