I have one of these. I wish I'd held out for the new micro which solves the complaints i have about this one but i still like this one.

I used to have the first version. Unfortunately it was way too small for my thin long fingers, I ended up selling them straight away. Other than that, they seemed like an excellent couple of controllers.

Maybe they'll change the button mapping similar to the m30 in the next firmware update, so the dpad can be the dpad, left stick or right stick.

With my other 8bitdo controller I can connect it (in windows controller mode) to my iPad via the Bluetooth "switch" feature in the accessibility menu. I'd assume this one works the same. Mine works exactly the same as any other iOS compatible controller even though it's added differently. Also, according to 8bitdos FAQ on this controller, you can remap the dpad to work as a dpad or either stick by pressing and holding select and up, left, or right in the dpad for five seconds. (With up being for dpad mode, and left and right for their respective sticks)

Can't the dpad be reassigned like on the m30?

I have the first version of this... xD I wonder if they changed anything. Perhaps on the firmware side? Aside from the color scheme, the original looks exactly the same. As with the other 8bitdo gamepads, this one is also surprisingly well built and works like a charm, despite looking like a toy keychain. xD o/

I wish youd compared it to the first version. I have the first zero I bought more or less for novelty and that one has cost me less then half of this one. Does the 2 anything different outside the colors?

From 8bitdo - The new version can work with NIntendo Switch and its firmware can be Upgraded. But no photographed function.

I don't understand why they included a wrist strap but not a keychain attachment. Isn't that just an obvious thing for something like this?
