#88. Frothy Resin Waves on Iridescent Coasters
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Foamy white resin waves breaking over an iridescent glittering beach (10cm diameter coasters).
Beautiful blue water laps gently at a green/pink changing beach. Watch the resin wave formation in real time with the sounds of waves breaking at Torquay.
I used Bondi blue tint from Colour Obsession, white glitter and titanium white pigment paste, Art Coat and DiamondCote resin from Just Resin.

@@Procrastipainter Liz I gave the waves another go tonight with your helpful hints. They def worked allot better in the air con and I left the white till the time you suggested. Not perfect Liz waves but at least they look more like a wave then a frothy milk shake haha. I think I had the heat gun too hot and also too close so will try at half heat, low blow and back a bit next. Also having trouble laying a little line of the white rather then a fat one but hey Im new at it. Thank you again for the words of wavy wisdom :)

Hey sounds like you're making progress!! You'll have it in no time 😉 I have my heat gun about half heat. If you use the stir stick to lay out the white, let the first big blob fall off the side of your piece before you start your line then it might look a bit more even. Fingers crossed for your next attempt Liz xo

Very beautiful! Is the paper a wrapping paper or contact paper?

Thanks 🥰💙 it's some kind of contact
Poxa.. Maravilhoso o trabalho. 😟😟

Try the other comment - sounds like you need less white and wait for your resin to get like cold honey kind of thick
Faço super corretamente o uso do soprador térmico mas não tem jeito. Minhas ondas e espuma ficam lisas, sem células. Já estou desistindo, porém acho tão bonito 🙁😕☹️😥

If your waves got cells then they disappeared, you need to wait longer before you lay down the white. If you never got any cells, try to blow a thin film of white (don't use lots of white). I get it if you've given up already but if you want to try again, see if that works 👍
