This is just slightly above my PR so I’ll be happy to use this as a follow-along. It’s crazy how easy Navy Seals look on video but on minute 15+ I am just holding on for dear life! Good work Max, and I hope your pec is healing up quickly.

I’ve got to say Max, I appreciate all the follow along videos you’ve been posting lately. It certainly speaks to your commitment to helping busy dads and busy people everywhere. And solid advice at the end regarding sneaking reps in at the beginning and the end. Glad the old chest didn’t bother you to bad during this one👍.

Nice slog. Tbh I find it so much easier to not stay focused. I go into my dreamworld, keep moving and watching with one eye and before I know it, it's over.

I love these 'follow along' videos. I get a little bump in motivation when I feel like I'm working out with someone else. I always use them to push myself a little further for better PRs.

Max, my first level 2 session, and what a session. I felt good on this one, I love a navy seal session. I had been missing them to concentrate on 6 counts for my cardio, but I’m glad to be doing these again 💪. First 20mins in the bank. Stay strong brother 👊💪

Well , I tried kidding myself into thinking I could do this boy was I wrong. 😂 so I’ll hav ta step back and stick with a smaller number. Haven’t been steady in my workouts lately and at 71 I should have known better. Worked out most of my life and had gotten away from commitment. But ain’t getting any younger so this program is the one, thanks

My man, at 71 I'm unbelievably impressed that this seemed even vaguely plausible to you! I hope I'm like that at your age. Still, I do strongly recommend going low and slow as you move through this program.

Did this again today, I can feel more form improving which is good, still hard going but feel great. If I did my own workout I’d have been going too fast, got more reps but compromising form. The pace of this was great for strength. My chest and arms are burning. Thanks again Max.

Happy to report in after a slight set back in BDP training. This was a perfect way back at it. Was able to complete 87. Felt great doing so. Thank you for these videos, I can’t stress enough how much they help. It definitely encourages me to get back in the hunt for level 3. I will just keep adding a couple extra each workout. Thanks again 👍💪

Hi Max I hope you are well and a Happy Birthday to your daughter. Congratulations on your dedication and commitment and all of your success for your channel. I'm sorry I've left it so long and have to admit I'm rusty on the busy Dad program. I'm looking to get back level 3 on Navy seals and I'm working towards 200 6 counts ( yes I'm out of shape right now). I've been doing more resistance work and man I miss the lightness and energy I had when I was getting my best numbers on your program. ( PRS were 262 on six and 112 for NS). Keep well my friend and I'll post some updates very soon, glad you're heeling up too.

DELIGHTED to hear from you, brother!! I've often wondered recently how you're getting on. Glad to hear you're gravitating back to burpees. They are the way, Daniel. Never abandon them. The Busy Dad Program will always be here for you, my man. As will the Busy Dad.

I'm carrying some kind of shoulder injury currently so can really relate to this.. so frustrating not being able to get the 6 or 10 counts in. I can just but there is too much pain so I have had to revert to 4 counts for now. Physio booked so hopefully be on the mend soon. thanks for the video Max!

Mend up, my man. I really hope you'll be able to get back to full BDP training soon. Meanwhile, I strongly recommend attacking the 4-ct training. Try to perform at least 125% of your 6-count PR.

Your advice for bigger biceps, ten dead hang controled chin ups. First I thought how difficult it could be, only ten chin ups, I do 25-33 pull ups barbarian style, that is quickly explosive. But yesterday I gave it a try after iron wolf 12 minutes drill, and I could only make 6 reps. Who can have thought that it can be so challenging done the right way . Really good advice busy dad 👍

Active recoveries are so important. When I was training full time, the sheer volume of training often required sport massage. Do you ever use those for recovery? It was a weekly requirement for many of the players on the circuit. Also, a big tip is that most people use ice when they are injured. One trick to staying injury free is to apply ice or very cold water [cold shower on specific body parts works great], when you are NOT injured. The saying I used to use was "Injuries are noted by their absence". Maybe you should invest in a nice big cold plunge tub!! Not sure if you have used them before, but you will LOVE how you feel afterwards!

Thanks for your sage advice as ever, Duncan! As a matter of fact, my family is moving soon to an extremely cold part of America. I fully intend to invest in an ice bath once we're there!
