Blueberry bounce is a very good technique that every gold panner should learn and practice. What is sad is lots of guys would just dump a bunch of mercury in the pan and retort it. No concern that they were likely losing gold and mercury. The good ones would at least use a retort and not a potato which made it impossible to recover the mercury.

Emily is an outstanding example of what hard work and dedication can accomplish. She came in a novice years ago. She was hooked up with a guy that turned out to be a loser, but after that failed she kept going. She had a father that also left a lot to be desired, but she ferreted out that problem and again kept going. It was tough to do with limited funding, so she built, even though it was baby steps she took each one, one step at a time. When mistakes were made, she took steps to correct them and remarkably didn't repeat them. She still learning, but the knowledge she's built, the discipline she's developed are truly impressive. I wish her well, and hope her success continues to grow.

please never go back to the miscovery. Your episodes are soooo much better.

Awesome job guys! You should do a breakdown after each cleanup to show people how much you actually take home after splitting percentages, royalties, expenses, etc etc. An all inclusive account to give people a true look at the cost of running dredge. Fred Hurt used one too. Mike Pung had me hooked on it first time I used it. I can take that thing down to Point Barr in Howard, Colorado and feed it all day. Never get tired.

Not a gold miner but do enjoy watching some of the miner shows on you tube. The one thing I have noticed is all of you use different styles of mats and sluice box setups. There also seems to be a lot of different styles of rubber mats. Just wondering the how and why of sluice design and the reason for certain mats over others? Great show and good luck

Hey James great question and thank you! Our sluice design has grating over it to protect the riffles from boulders. Probably the biggest difference between us and highbankers or inland miners is they have ways of screening out the bigger rocks before they hit the riffles and don’t need grating. As far as rubber mats, we just like the dream mat it works well, looks cool, and cleans easy. The other cube mats work fine it’s just a matter of preference. There are lots of ways to skin this cat every gold recovery method has pros and cons. Hope that clears things up a bit!

Amazingly we only started doing that this season. Made a huge difference in our production because we could identify exactly where the hot spots are. Divers' eyes are good, but not as good as the data

Sweeeet … Any kind of mining is a buzz …When a youngster, would go golf ball finding out of bounds , way off the fairway , usually in farmers Crop land ..My old Man loved it .. Suckers can’t keep in bounds , finders keepers 🥳 Went panning in Wales , river , just for a laugh , with my girlfriend… United Kingdom river authorities said no 😆😆😆 ☮💟

Would a vibrating gold table do a more efficient job cleaning up the gold? Since you do not use one is it because of the cost of the table and a place to install it? Very nice gold weigh. Looking great for the season.

Vissualize a barge with a couple of engines and everything you need inside .should be worth the time

get a shaker table and save all those guys all that time, which equals money.
