Is there a reason the person dredging is also the prospector? has anyone used a person or camera to prelocate patches? Im sure there is a reason no one does it.

Avocados are $3 in Seattle? That’s wild. I’ve never spent more than $0.99 for an avocado even in 2024. I get that things like food and clothing are more expensive. But overall when you add up all of the costs of living like housing and such, I would be willing to bet it’s still cheaper to live in Nome.

Hey guys, just out of curiosity, do you keep any kind of a grid section for your plot and make a note of how much gold you source from each area, or do you cover so much ground in each session it makes it impractical? Is it just divers skill/intuition that dictates where they’ll suck the ground from or do you use any kind of historical data etc? Do you think eventually the divers job will be replaced by a robot and an operator above in the boat?
