840Hp Stealth B7 NASCAR V8 Engine || ONBOARD New Record & DYNO

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is the insane Stealth B7 of RR Racing, driven by Jan Oivind Ruud and the new 2WD Record Holder at Norges Raeste Bakkelop, the most prestigious HillClimb event in Norway, getting dangerously close to former WRC Champion Petter Solberg´s Overall Record in the process. Powered by a Nascar V8 Chevy SB2.2 V8 enigne in NAturally Aspirated form producing 845Hp and scraming all the way up to 9.200Rpm, this unique machine takes the obscure Stealth chassis base to a whole new level featuring full Carbon Fibre bodywork and tremendous Aeordynamic package capable of 18600Nm of downforce at 220km/h, Hewland gearbox NLT6 sequential Gearbox, DRS, Carbon Brakes (380mm at the front and 350mm at the rear), Titanium exhaust, magnesium wheels among a whole host of other goodies. Here you can watch it on the dyno and on Max Attack mode at the Hill on its way to the Record:

    Top-level NASCAR engines are some of the most unhinged racing engines on the planet when they don't have any restrictors on them. What's scarier is this is a fairly old engine design, the current equivalent to this engine, the R07, is easily capable of 900+ horsepower and 10k RPM for short runs. At those levels, the piston speeds actually exceed what you find in F1.

    That’s really not surprising given they have made high reving v8 nascar motors for decades? Heck they have built over 10,000 rpm motors but rules limited them to 9500 rpm. In 60s there were nascar motors reliably turning over 7500 rpm.
