I sat down with former CKY singer Deron Miller to talk about his new band 96 Bitter Beings and their latest album, Synergy Restored. We briefly talked about the album but we wound up spending a lot more time talking about the relationships he's building with his fans and the state of rock music. It was an interesting conversation that I am so glad to finally be able to share with you now that the album is close to release (November 4th!).

Universal Culture Shock is the only title track I believe Deron ever used for anything he put out.
I've really enjoyed both the 96BB albums. Deron has the magic touch with those riffs, Vaudevilles revenge's chorus has been wrecking my hands 🤣

Deron's such a good dude, hate how band mates have treated him. id play guitar with him in a heartbeat

Good question. Perhaps it's a part of what gets him his unique tone? 🤷

I'm going to guess it's due to the wound G string & tuning stability.

@@heavymetalphilosophy I would assume it is. Longer scales tend to give you a more "stable" drone if that makes any sense.
