when wearing the chesty you can turn the camera upside down and that will angel it good

Your "arm" mount looks like a bike helmet mount that you thread through the vents. I think. One came with my multi piece accessory kit, and was labeled as such

The fourth one with the straps is for a bicycle helmet with slots. I prefer that over the sticky ones as it won't come off. The GoPro one is about 20 bucks!

That selfie stick looks so much better than what neeewer's accessory kits ship with from amazon in Sweden for twice the price

I'll watch the video later, but in my case when I picked up a similar kit, I found some of the items were better than others. Definitely worth the money though.

i bought similar kit...theres junk for sure but huge value usage for half it...love my kit. if you have a gopro just grab a kit to have around.

Thanks, was looking for a chest mount, ordered this kit instead! It just sucks that shipping and imports to South Africa costs more than the actual item. Still worth it though...

The Velcro strap is for the GoPro Smart Remote

I have a similar kit, but it also came with a good, padded carry case. I've found the chest strap a bit hard to use as a woman(!) so I've been using the wrist strap around my stem. This means my wahoo and hands are in shot. Please feel free to look at my videos and suggest alternatives!

Im just waiting for Aldi to reissue their rear tail light camera combo. Oh and if it don't fit you haven't discovered zip ties.

I have a DJI Mavic Mini. It has had minimal use. I need to use it a lot more.

how/where do you mount your gopro when riding? chest? handle bar mount? and which would be the best so that you could easily remove the cam from the mount and use it freestyle?

All of the above. Typically under the GPS. For freestyle it's in the back pocket with the Shorty tripod. Removing the GoPro on the fly from under the GPS is possible.... putting it back is tricky without stopping.

I bought a similar kit on Amazon, however it came with a case to keep it all in. I use my accessories for the DJI Osmo Action and I use just about all of them (haven’t really used the chest mount though. But these kits are great if you want to have a lot of options without spending a fortune.

Nice find Shane! Do you own a gimble? Seems like a good option for the chest mount.

The stabilization in the Hero 8 means no real need for a gimbal for my kind of riding (not downhill MTB). I could see one being useful for the tilt issue I discussed though.

7:08 it IS on a swivel mount, just turn it. why do you think the mount is on a seperate plate attached by a bolt ( a pivot point).

Had a few of the items, they're not bad, but they have flaws. My biggest problem with them were the hooks/mounts - they make the camera rattle under vibrations. GoPro J hooks have a rubber thingy that dampens those vibrations a lot. My tripod legs fall off with wear and that suction cup rubber deformed itself with time and doesn't stick for me anymore. Also - all the plastics are crazy brittle.

There is $20 worth of stickies in the Pack, Along with the Chesty, Head strap, Gator Clip (which does swivel) and Floaty as well as the various mounts Bin Everything Else i would say Bargain.

Hey! Is it good quality, does it feel strong and stable, do they feel like they could snap in half if you put a little bit of stress on them??

The accessories aren't to GoPro official standards, but I haven't been disappointed in them for the price.

Been looking at a camera to film rides for safety and insurance, have alot of near misses from cars😒. Been looking at the go pro with a bar mount, any other recommendations.

Camera footage is no good if you're no longer around. Varia Radar first, if you're not in an extremely busy area. Cycliq have for-purpose safety cameras that'll last longer than a GoPro for recording rides, although their quality has always been questionable.

I ride with a chest mount gopro on highways and country roads and the straps over my lighter coloured jerseys seem to have eliminated near misses. Perhaps it's because drivers think they are being filmed or the education process is starting to work.

9:25 I’m late to the party but looked this up because I am looking for various motorcycle mounts. That’s a strap that fastens a camera on a helmet for road biking races, mountain bike trails, and BMX. Looks like it slips into the air vents. Useless for a motorcyclist.

That looks like a super deal, Shane, now what to do with the suction cup mount? Maybe on the roof of your car so we see where Lama or Mama is driving? I'm still not convinced those aren't filmed in your garage :)

The clamp also swivels. The whole top part swivels

If they have a two fin mount identical to GoPro, then sure.

tbh the stuff like the selfie stick or tripod is meh....but its got alot of mounting hardware that is definitely worth the money...I think the head mount is meh but the chest mount seems quite decent

From experience - don’t use the mount on your handlebars - as the plastic won’t last long with the vibrations and your GoPro will be bouncing down the road 😭. Chest strap (with the camera mounted upside down) does handle mounting biking though.

The one thing you didn't explain was how to attach the camera to the body/chest harness. I've got the same thing here and can't figure it out. You showed how to wear it and said it would be a "yes" for you, but how do you attach the camera to it?

I've just checked it here. It's a standard buckle mount on the chest plate.

Shane does hang onto his bikes for a long time and he probably has photovoltaics at home. Check out some aviation channels on youtube and see how many uber rich guys are flying personal planes for fun. More fuel on one flight than i use in a year.
