Very very weird line to take after a 5 bet. AA KK QQ may check the flop but usually bet the turn. To fire on the river 200K ur telling use you have AK suited maybe AA. Rob should have raised the river. 200K what is he afraid of when his A hits the river in a 5 bet pot🤔🙄🤷🏿‍♂️

You’re not bluffing there with 66. The only reason to bet is equity protection. You’re never going to get better than 66 to fold on that flop or turn. That said i love an equity protection bet against 2 overs on the turn. A nice 125-150k bet should do the trick.

@@Sam-db4mr correct you should basically never be 5 betting 66 this deep. It’s a super low frequency play that’s done in the name of balance which honestly can be done 0% of the time and be just fine.

JRB probably knew with his reputation it'd be hard to get anything that would reasonably call a 5-bet to fold on that flop and turn. Im guessing JRB put Rob on 1010-QQ (wrongly but makes sense given his own action). His river bluff was ill-timed given Rob's hand was pretty face up after checking back both streets. But yeah ultimately the lesson here is not to 5-bet with 66

JRB misplayed his hand literally on every street. Overplays a marginal hand preflop and then proceeds to check flop and turn . His story is that he has QQ-AA. He wouldn’t be checking if he had a premium PP. And then he stabs at the river when it’s pretty obvious Yong has AK or AQ in a 5-bet pot having checked back the flop and turn.

What you wrote makes sense, but I can see those players checking AA-QQ as pre flop raiser being this deep. Your opponent's range has some AK, but also JJ, 99, TT, and some JTs. Against this range, betting out of position puts you in very difficult spot on many turn cards, plus quite often you may be behind. Even with AA it would be difficult to get 3 streets of value from worse hands. Also, it isn't obvious that his opponent missed, when he checks back. He could easily do this with QQ, TT, JTs. I'm not saying he shouldn't bet any part of his range on this flop, but it isn't as straightforward as you described. They're too deep for that.

he wins here and there a bit but overall I'm pretty sure he's a losing player. Theres levels to this, he knows how to play but at very high stakes cash game his style is counter productive. To answer your question how does he still have money, I'm convinced he's best friends with a high net worth individual who either stakes him or loans him or maybe even just gives millions a year to play....nothing otherwise makes sense or his father must have left him with some asset that nets him millions in perpetuity.
