You’d be surprised that in Europe Allroads see more action than most suv. The thing is, it not an off road vehicle is an all road - tarmac, dirt, gravel, so on. Great for your of grid estate

@@tacodias i have never even seen an allroad in Europe and since its 70k+€ there arent a lot of us Europeans being able to purchase one new… Not to mention SUVs have overtaken wagons by a far even here. But I guess in the balkans you might find a few very old ones…
More efficient than an suv and more practical than a sedan.

I rented a new Audi A6 allroad in Germany, and at high speed the vehicle is not stable at all, even scary (the car was on sport mode)

It is a nice car, but they have it Quattro ultra. If they made it rwd based then it would be cool, but they made it fwd based! And the engine is longitudinally mounted, not transversely mounted! The last A6 had real Quattro, with a Torsten center diff. The benefit here is that is has a dual clutch trans, so thats cool. But to stick this awd system in their off road model? Crazy. The S6 and RS6 have a proper awd system, why not give the off road version the same thing? Sure, it’ll do fine without it, but it’s a horrible idea on Audi’s part

I miss the late 80’s early nineties Audi’s whose automatic transmission would randomly slam into reverse at autobahn speeds or randomly open the throttle full out and really force the driver to focus on his 130mph driving skills. Sure some people died but others learned to overcome adversity

Ive seen 5 year old a6’s with 60k miles going for 27k at dealers. Was with the 2.0 but still theyll get cheaper

@@worst5digit84 80k miles is still very low. Though i might be used to higher mileage cars since ive driven volvos with over 250k miles with no problems, while i had few audis with 2.0t at 150k that had engine issues.

My point was that people say audi engines are trash and break down earlier than that but it hasn't been my experience so far. also used audis are just a mixed bag because f the morons that own them. My car with 80k miles had shot shocks and struts front brake rotors and upper control arms...

they’re expensive and have a lot of parts but that doesn’t mean they’re that bad to work on. Also this is not a 3.0 TDI

It is but we are talking about executive class of car like E class or BMW 5. And this is a higher trim package with quattro and V6. The car really rides like a luxury car.
