I know this is 3 years old but all of their giveaways are done through a 3rd party sweepstakes agency. Look at the official rules on their website, locate the Sweepstakes agency name and do a google search for their number then call them and validate the giveaway.

The fact they do their own shirts makes me want to get their merch

Mail in entries for some of these giveaways seem fishy and some seem legit. 80Eighty seems fishy. The mail in entries go to UT(where 80Eighty is located) but the the drawing is conducted by Marden-Kane in NY. Makes you wonder if 80Eighty actually sends the mail in entries to NY to be put into the drawing or if they just get "lost". Own Boss Supply seems legit. The mail in entries go to the same town in NY as Marden-Kane while Own Boss is located in FL. The mail in entries go straight to the Administrator which makes me think they actually receive them and get entered into the drawing. Maybe I should hire a P.I. to investigate some of these sweepstakes where the Sponsor is the middle man for the mail in entries(Like 80Eighty) and find out if they just dump mail in entries or if they actually follow the law.

If somebody were to win a car from 80eighty what taxes do they need to pay on the car to keep the car, 25% of the retail value or the state sales tax where they live?

The reason I'm asking is because if I have to pay 25% of a retail value plus 25% of the cash it will come out to $30,500. Which means I will have to pay $500 out of pocket.

@@v12Lifestyle well I found out any vehicle you win you have to pay one-third of the value of the vehicle in taxes. Plus any cash you win you have to pay up to 25% in taxes
