This is just dumb. The website advertised polarized … he didn’t get polarized. By sending the glasses back and getting another item … he would have another entry to win a car. I think he just wanted what was advertised “polarized glasses”

So what does you being upset about cheap quality merchandise have anything to do with it being a scam? When you enter a giveaway you’re mainly doing it for the entries and not for the high quality. If what you care is for the product, then go buy some ray ban or something.

A sweepstake company with a product line ….. I mean you’d have to expect poor quality and inflated pricing. Who else is going to fund the prize?

I'm not the type that just buys one tshirt either, I bought hundreds of dollars worth of shit last time to increase my odds at winning, but I'm over it at this point because YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. People may win the sweepstakes, but what are the odds? At what cost? Chances are that you don't win, so you should be getting a decent product AT LEAST. A $30 tshirt, okay you don't expect much. However, I actually bought hundreds of dollars worth of detailing products last time and ended up pretty unhappy with the quality myself. It's obvious they mix & bottle the shit themselves. Just not worth it.

don’t you find it odd that the winners that they tag are all car enthusiasts, that’s not a coincidence it’s sponsored marketing and although these accounts may be real they are being used to show that there’s a potential to win when in reality it’s a rigged competition, 80eighty is really good at smoke and mirrors tactics to have people buy subpar merchandise to believe they have a chance to win a fast car and a decent amount of money but if anything sounds too good to be true then most likely it is

To be clear, I do have the option of sending these back, and I may still do it because they are absolute crap for $35. But, As you can see this situation is screwed up. No other company that I have ever dealt with would ever send a substandard product to a customer when they paid for something else(at least give some sort of heads up). It's not a scam. Companies are increasingly doing this because the cars and cash count as donations and are therefore a tax right off. So they're essentially operating tax free. I just ordered a shirt. I felt like it was too small so they sent me a large no questions asked. I got to keep both. They were awsome about it.

There's a popular KZreadr I'm a fan of that's friends with these people and always is wearing their hoodies and hats and stuff. Was looking at them and don't really understand why people would buy shirts with their logos, not sure what else of value they add. Seems almost like how people play the lottery. But then again never really been a fan of clothing with big logos, seems like you are advertising for free haha. So maybe I just don't get it or understand haha. Kinda reminds me how people wearing those AERO or Hollister shirts back in high school, felt like a way to show off lol. They seem like they are probably some cool guys though to be around and hang out with. I don't know them personally. Kinda wish I knew more young entrepreneurs around my age, since I'd like to surround myself with other like minded people. I don't think I'm a huge fan fo giveaways if I was a KZreadr, seems like they always come with controversy.

It is kinda obvious that a "giveaway" company has to triple or 4x their product. Selling the car at what... $300k-400k in sales or so? $10k for real product $50k for the cash, $150k for a car and keep the rest?

They are polarized but not the best quality of polarization. This is due to the fact most people don't care about what they'e buying as long as they have the chance to win a nice whip. Our life depends on wonderful Ferrari's 😎❤️

Actually, yes if I win the car + cash, I would still care about the sunglasses because as a consumer in America - you have rights. If I was this kid, I would have gotten my money back and if I exchanged, would not have paid for shipping NO MATTER what the return policy says because he actually proved they were non-polarized when they were advertised as such AND he has correspondence of them admitting they are not polarized. That is actually illegal, I don't care how little the price.

Wish I would’ve done my research as well. Ordered a $38 3/4 sleeve baseball tee shirt. Shirt is garbage, neck is big it could fit around a gorilla’s neck & sleeves would fit Popeye’s for arms. I have an athletic build & this is the worst fitting shirt I own. I’ve bought several 3/4 sleeve baseball Tees on Amazon. I could’ve bought 2-3 off Amazon that actually fit like a shirt should. Garbage company that doesn’t stand behind their product & most likely running a car give away scam that uses rentals & friends to push their scam.

I only buy gym shirts and stuff I don't expect much from. Not spending tons of money hoping to win tons of money.

What’s really sus is all the past winners seem to have ig car pages. It’s never been a person with just a normal IG who also likes cars. In addition after they win it seems that the next 10 posts on that persons page are of the car. Obvi ppl would want to show off their brand new car a bit but it looks very scripted and like lots of advertising in the captions

I have yet to see any pictures of the winners at home with the car in their driveway...SO LAME. And then when you ask them for videos or photos of them driving the car around in their home town, they never respond.

I’ve had no issues with products this far , I’ve gotten the polarized blue lense sunglasses which are 100% polarized and good quality for the $35 I payed. The shirt and blanket were also very nice and made with quality materials. The only issues I have with them is that shipping to Canada is $25 which is understandable, and that I hype myself up every contest even though I know I’m not winning haha

It's probably fake. Rn they're giving away a McLaren. 300k car plus 60k cash. That's 360k total. Do the math. Their hoodies are probably $50. In order to break even of 360k and not lose profit, 360,000÷50=7,200 hoodies. You think they have 7,200 hoodies to ship out? Ok, maybe not everyone buys hoodies, they buy low cost items like stickers or hats. Let's say $25 for a hat. Now that means it takes 2 hats to equal $50. Remember, they need to at least break even of 360k. Now the supply has to go up to meet the demand. You think they have those supplies on hand? Probably not, so they gotta spend more money to have them made. So now their total money spent is more than 360k. So ask yourself, do they really have thousands of stickers, lanyards, clothing etc. laying around? I've also wondered, how come the people that do win never flex their car on social media? All they do it post like 2 photos and a shoutout and you never see the car again. Could it be they call these people up, tell them they won. Make a video of them seeing the car for the first time, then stop recording once they have everything they need for that video? Then tell them off camera they didn't win the car, but they did win a couple grand; only if they sign a contract where they're not aloud to speak of any of this, and in that contract it requires you make a post on social media about you "winning." Wouldn't you sign the contract if it meant getting 5k cash? Theres a famous saying, don't believe everything on the internet.

i dont think its a scam at all, they have cheaper quality and charge a premium, so they are making lots of profit per item, then they have a huge customer base all trying to win a dream car, so they probably just use the large profit margine to fund the prize as a advertisement to attract customers. I think their marketing efforts are rather smart tbh.
