Motorized bikes are cool! I never thought this would be one of my hobbies, but I've enjoyed 1 year now of working on and riding mine. I' m now planning my next project which will be more heavy duty and more reliable and faster than my first one.

I completely agree. Once I had the first bike together and it actually worked, I was completely Hooked! Thank you for watching, and I'll look for the videos of you next build! Stay tuned I have some great builds coming up.

I shouted for joy when you realized the plate was upside down hahahah. Man that was bugging me that you were going through all those extra modifications to work around it.

Sometimes you have to walk away and come back the next day. Like the old saying "let me sleep on it"... Glad I didn't cut the clutch lever..lol This bike is not a reliable daily. The new thing it's doing is popping the chain on the upper jackshaft right side sprocket when I try to start it. I think I'm going to put this motor set up on a different 26" mountain bike, so I can actually change gears. Thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoyed my misery. :)

I think you goin to regret the jack shaft it’s a lot of stress on these lol motors n u gotta pull start them or it’s really hard to pop them n I hear the pull starts break a lot idk from experience just wut I hear n c from others I feel like it would b wayyyy easier to just bring an extra chain with you in case it breaks again n run it straight to the wheel but chains breakin it’s really rare I have only broken one in 20k miles but either thanks for sharing brother

I have a Delmar bike like that one, when I started to put a 2-stroke engine on it I realized the hole was to big, and that the engine would be laying almost completely horizontal in it, so I decided to switch a 49cc 4-stroke kit from another bike I have to the Delmar, that turned-out to be a pretty-good decision, having a 2-stroke angled like that will wear-out the front engine-sprocket quick, it will be very interesting for me to see how this turns out for ya, I really hope you do an update on this bike, I don't understand, what's the point of you putting the jack-shaft on it, what do you hope to gain from it with a single-speed wheel?, great video, thanks for sharing.

I will do a update video soon. I only used this bike because I'm going to Florida in July and thought it would be cool, and I was basically trying to get rid of the 2 chains. Last year my chain broke in Florida and NOBODY on Ft. Meyers Beach had chain. It sucked because I had to ride it like a normal bicycle lmao. Thank you for watching, and thanks for the comment!!! RIDE ON BRO!!!

Does that jackshaft fit only a bmx chain

If your sitting on the bike the left side chain is a #415 and on the right side of the jackshaft the chain is regular BMX mountain bike chain.

The whole purpose of a jackshaft kit is to bele to use the gear ratios on a regular speed changing bike. If you have a single speed bike isn't it kind of pointless to even use a jackshack ?

Isn't it pointless to have 2 chains on a bike?

@@OlszkoolCustomsno it's not. I have watched the first few parts and will continue watching the rest however to answer you directly: NO it is not pointless. There is a specific reason for two separate chains. The jackshaft is there for you to use a rear cassette with gears. If you do not intend to shift gears, you are combining systems for NO REASON. The best way to ensure if one system fails that the other one keeps working is through a concept called SYSTEM ISOLATION. This is why most electrical wiring is done in parallel not in series. This is just an analogy this concept applies to everything. This is the method to reduce the chances of one system failure causing a domino effect to another system failure. You're creating more risk, for no benefits, and eliminating reserves.
