Just started watching your videos. I just want to make a point that when you’re bleeding the brakes you do not bleed the air out but leaving the bleeder screw open… every time you release the brake you’re allowing air into the system.. you need to pump and hold tension on the lever and then release bleeder and don’t let off the lever until you tighten the bleeder back up.. the front brake should not touch the grip as it still has air in the system..

Tip: An easy way to pop those oil filters out is to get a pair of needle nose, stick them in the hole, and then open them up so they press against the inside of the hole, then just pull it out.

get yourself a ultra sonic cleaner with carb cleaner in it. Some q-tips and aluminum polish work wonders on the needle and seat. You wont regret it. When you bleed brakes you either vacuum the fluid through the bleeder, or you push the lever with the bleeder open then let it up with the bleeder closed. Just pumping the brake with the bleeder open will draw air back into the caliper.

Here's a great tech tip I learned from watching the Mustie1 KZread channel. When you need to clean the float needle seat, take a Q-tip and put it in a drill. Then run it in the float needle opening with a little carb cleaner. It will polish the needle seat as it's cleaning the passage. He would cut the Q-tips in half so you'd get 2 uses out of each one. Keep up the great content. Congrats on your success and the acquisition of the new lot.

Vinnie is going to be a Super Dog, and a Cardio Monster with all that running chasing those bikes and ATV's all his life. I use the Cratex rubberized abrasives on a 1/8" mandrel to clean and polish float seats. The cylindrical ones polish the barrel of the seat, and a conical one will dress where the needle fits, like lapping a valve. Those things are awesome for that kind of work. Also used for porting and polishing, with different grits. They are VERY pricey though.

Loving the videos, great enthusiasm, problem solving and im learning from you. A little tip though...that air noise you think is coming out is actually air going in. Bleeding brakes is not as simple as undoing the nipple and pulling the lever a few times. There is a procedure that needs to be followed and there is more than one way to skin a cat. The way I do it is, put a tube and botle over the nipple then undo the nipple and pull the lever, when you have the lever fully depressed tighten the nipple and repeat till you get a firm lever. Also tap the caliper if you are struggling to get a firm lever. but like i said my way is not the only way. Subbed!

Enjoy watching your videos, we don’t quite get the bargains you do here in the uk! Only thing that’s grates me is someone like yourself with plenty of knowledge surely knows that starting it from cold and going of like that is going to do some harm sooner or later on a 4stroke! Keep up the good work, just let them warm up abit more though😉😂

That red n white F sticker on the head is fastheads, so the vavles could of been replaced with stainless or titanium vavles with the correct spring for them, probably ported.

Putting a hose on the bleed nipple that runs into a bottle for old brake fluid is a much cleaner way to bleed brakes and reduces the chance of getting fluid on your pads, also crack open the bleed nipple when the brake is under pressure. This makes purging air much easier.

It is a 2008. 06 had steel frame. Clean the carberator, check camchain tension, check valve-clearens.. 👍

2006 was the first year Kawasaki had the aluminum frame for their 250f. Suzuki didn't update their 250f until 2007, and that's when I'm assuming their partnership ended.

2-1/2 turns on the fuel screw, 50 leak jet(inside the bowl) time the ap to just miss the slide (usually all the way out on the screw) and put an o-ring around the adjustment arm and the ap lever 180 main 50 pilot will stop the bogging from idle to 1/4 throttle The purpose of the leak jet slows down how much fuel is returned to the bowl from the ap shot if anyone didn’t know

When you pulled off the oil filter cover, I didn't see a spring. There should be a spring between the cover and filter. You want to make sure it's there, it keeps the filter tight against the case, it's important. Nice bike.

Best deal I ever got was a 2005 trx450r went to the guys house at like 10pm with a buddy. Guy wanted 1600 for it. Didn't run but had perfectly strong compression I couldn't believe it. I noticed the guy was drinking with his buddies and ended up getting him down to $800 bucks right hand to God. Kid that went with me said if I don't buy it he's going to lol. Of course I scooped it for 800. Never even touched it and trade it for a really nice 04 rm250 and that kid got the trx450r running good. I used to buy and sell and trade so many bikes and quads you ppl wouldn't even believe me the stories and deals I've had and seen. Traded I've done. Etc

this is about your skid steer=you can buy a tooth bar that bolts onto the bucket. it will make digging a lot easier. also when you build a track DO NOT take the dirt from the track , it will leave low spots that will fill with water and make the track muddy. a good piece of advice is find a place away from the track for the extra dirt.

great vid, really enjoying your channel, you pick up some wonderful bikes, top tip for you, when bleeding brakes, you need to close the bleed nipple before releasing the lever, otherwise it actually sucks air back in, personally what i do it top the reservoir up, open the nipple and let it drip/trickle, then i put a tube over the bleed nipple with a big syringe, and suck the air/fluid through until i just have fluid coming, and keep an eye on the fluid level, there's other ways of doing it, but this is the easiest way when on your own, and the most effective i find, best wishes

I was thinking the same thing. Ideally, soak overnight in a degreaser, we were cheap and used vinegar, then lube with lithium grease.
