Thanks so much Frank, I really appreciate all your support!!
Very well explained. I am done with being the only comms manager, and I am looking for a bigger company and bigger team now.

It's hard being a team of one Mary, I've done it myself and I don't think I'd do it again! Best of luck with the job move.
Really useful your first point made me laugh as it reminded me of a director who'd always send out these random, long winded emails with poetry attached.

Omg I have a boss like that. He thinks people care about his long winded window into his head 😂 people constantly complain they have no idea why they’re even even reading his communications

@Tarie3988 I think all organisations have them and see internal comms as their personal soapbox to get out whatever nonsense is in there head! 😅

Thanks so much!
Do you recommend a program for a working professional to gain that structured learning?

Hi Tarie, if you're looking for a qualification then you could look at some institutions like the Institute of Internal Communication or the European Institute of Communications. I also run trainings and workshops too so get on my mailing list if you want info on learning directly from me: www.thecuriousroute.com/newsletter-signup
