I'm genuinely surprised you guys didn't have Fable's "Your health is low, do you have any potions, or food" from the Guildmaster. Or "Check the guild, for more quests" from the Guildmaster. Or "Hero your will energy is low, watch that" from the Guildmaster. It almost makes you want to go the evil route just to get him to shut up.

This is Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite store on the Citadel.

The one annoying line for me is "I heard they're reforming the Dawnguard..." I hear it every two seconds and the amount of times I've nearly just done a quick save so I can kill them

It's not voiced but Professor Oak saying "Now's not the time to use that!" is ingrained in my head xD That and "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this!" from classic Zelda games

@@pandapotato1617 I think that the reason for that is because there aren't 100 Nazeems running around saying the same DAMN thing! If there were, I'd tell my Dark Elf to do herself a favor and kill herself. Sure, she'll end up dooming the world as Alduin would EVENTUALLY destroy the world*, but she'll also be doing everyone else a favor so they'll never have to hear "Do you get to the Cloud District very often? Oh, what am I saying? Of course you don't," ever again. Well, unless they're also Redguard, then they're doomed to hear it in the afterlife as well. *Seriously, I'm almost at lvl 50 and I haven't finished the main story yet as I've been doing every other storyline and side quest in the game rather than saving the world. The world is still fine aside from the dragons, racism that goes on everyday and the Civil War that still rages on because both sides suck.

I never thought the arrow in the knee in Skyrim was nearly as bas as: "Do you get to the Cloud District very often? Oh what am I saying - of course you don't." Thanks Nazeem, it sure doesn't get old hearing that every time I walk through Whiterun.

I always found "Whats the matter someone stolen your sweet roll" to be the most annoying thing, like sure be aggressive or over share bot don't baby the guy/gal/other who can shout you into the next city. That or any of the like 3 kid voice lines

It's funny. I didn't hear the knee sound bite until my third playthrough, and I have never heard the Cloud District one. But I also never ran into the Yeti that has terrorized Luke so badly.

I notice a lot more of "They say Ulfric murdered the high king with his voice..." than the "arrow in the knee"

Neither one of those lines have anything next to "Let me guess, someone stole your sweetroll." That line almost lives up to the standard of greatness set by its predecessor "I hear the Fighter's Guild is recruiting again. Not a bad way to make some money, if you've got the stones for it."

Skyrim is great. You wear an enchanted full dragonbone heavy armor, wield a legendary weapon, just slayed a legendary dragon and devoured its soul, then the random bandit with iron sword and leather armor who watched the whole thing: "Hm, I'm gonna mug that guy"

Bioware are guilty of that. In Mass Effect it's also "I should go" and "Enemies everywhere". Older games it was infamous "You must gather your party before venturing forth". Literally first mod to install in Baldur's Gate is to silence that message.

I really hated her always saying that in her snarky tone, but to my husband's character she NEVER says that, and even sounds chipper. I thought maybe she's just a jerk to female protagonists, but if she says it to you, too, then I guess some of how the NPCs treat us is just random. Or maybe cuz I'm playing khajit (sp). Were you playing khajit? My husband picked orc.

Jennifer Lives I thought her tone changed depending on how often you unload your inventory onto her. When I first met her, she was definitely chipper and willing to help, but as I kept giving her all my heavy armor, weapons and dragon bones, she started saying it begrudgingly.

@@spooky_electric Hey, husband jumped on Skyrim and experimented with giving her different things because he hadn't made her do any work before. He got the impression that she still gives a cheerful response as long you give her things she can also use, but she gave him snark when he gave her things she can't use, like some of the items you suggested. Maybe it's finally solved! :-)

Head-cannon: In Skyrim’s world, there’s a store call “Thanee” named after it’s owner. One day, a group of adventurers broke in, stole several items, and killed the owner with an arrow, rather than paying them. Despite their best efforts though, the group was later caught and forced to guard the towns of Skyrim as punishment/community service. They now go around telling other mischievous adventurers how, they too, “used to be an adventurer”, until they took an arrow to Thanee

My favorite memorable line was from Baldurs Gate II when Minsc would generously suggest to the baddies “Jump on my sword while you can, Evil! I’ll not be as gentle!” Imagine my great surprise when years down the road I was playing oblivion only to hear that great classic line once again coming forth from some random npc dudes mouth. In truth the bandit only said the first sentence, but it was one of my favorite Easter eggs I’ve ever come across.

I always wondered if the line where the guards asks you to ‘enchant their sword’ was a pickup line. Although I suppose the quieter addition of ‘the dull old blade can barely cut through butter’ would have been highly discouraged, if that were the case.
