the only negative of that poem is you can see Katherine Ryan either unable to laugh properly/show actual emotion due to her botox or that she doesn't get it and is forcing a very poor laugh

I've heard comics say that if you could make Sean laugh and holding his side, then that's the holey grail. Pretty much everytime Joe's been on he did that to Sean. And the poem was on another level

The bit where he reveals his mascot is just a bunch of nuts and bolts only for the stage lighting to come crashing down two seconds later was perfect

We still quote the magic bit he was talking about! "Lower the pissing winch, raise the pissing winch!", Joe's a legend.

Joe's segments were what really made me want to tune in each week to watch Cats does Countdown. I don't really watch it anymore but at it's peak I always got excited when Joe was on it because of what he'd say and do when he was introduced mid-way through the show. Really funny guy.

That muscle suit was worth it, it got huge laughs and was hilarious. I also loved when he was crazy tall up in the rafters, it’s so silly but Joe adds so much vibe to the group.

He’s one of those comedians where his own comedy shows are not that great but he shines and is absolutly hilarious on a talk show/ game show environment.

Joe is pure chaos and we all love it. He's deadpan and so wacky.

The following unthinkable happened during his "Poem" bit.... 1- Sean Lock laughing uncontrollably while holding his sides and literally begging him, "Please Stop!" 2- Jimmy Carr totally forgot his -fake- laugh and started laughing like a real person throughout that 3 mins. 3- Katherine Ryan pretending to get the jokes and fake laughing along with others. 4- EVERYONE was in tears by the end and Jimmy visibly wiping his tears off with a tissue paper.

Can't tell you how good it feels seeing Robbie again ❤

Loved the interview guys. Joe has brought so much fun and laughter in to my life, I can watch 8 0f 10 cats does countdown over and over. A genuis of comedy, a wonderful warm gentleman. Deserves so much more recognition for his amazing talents.

I laughed my ass off on an episode of Cats Does Countdown when Jimmy Carr said that Joe looked like Rasputin. I thought to myself "That's who he looks like!". I just couldn't place who he reminded me of.

I loved joe on countdown!!!

I discovered Sean Lock in a post of his last video before he passed for a charity and was like who is this guy? ( I'm American ). Subsequently I ended up binge watching like 20+ seasons of Cats Does Countdown and now really miss it! I'm a huge fan of Sean and it introduced me to British television/comedy. Joe, you are absolutely Legendary in my book! ✌️😎

That huge-legs thing is still my fav epic thing ever happened on Catsdown!

Joe Wilkinson is the reason I watch 8oo10cdc, taskmaster, British tv in general.

It's actually quite difficult to see Joe Wilkinson being reasonably sane.. my brain thinks of him as being the 8th cat kind of bonkers.. ha! Good show folks

the last bit about Sean Lock was great

Joe and Sean together were like two schoolboys mixing petrol and acetone and wondering if a spark would make a difference . What could possibly go wrong? One good reason for YT, they exist but as a performing pair are sadly missed. Great discussion.

One of the funniest thing he done was when he sent jimmy a card saying he was doing off doing something for NASA or something but he sent a replacement and the replacement “alien” of himself had boobs and it was hilarious
