@@TDogsYard it generates a wave of hot air in front of it. As that hot air rises the fire rushes into the vacuum with the air it is consuming. That process continues until the wind created is basically at tornado strength. Get a bush fire big enough and it will create its own weather system. That’s actually a slow one in that video. As an Australian I’ve seen many of these. You can’t outrun them - unless you’re in a vehicle and you have a clear straight road away from the fire. The worst thing about it is the noise. The noise they create is horrendous.

That's why I only do food delivery and no ride sharing, and always avoid cities when possible. And I carry pepper spray mixed with tear gas, keeping in mind the wind's direction when I'm outside my car. The can is tested and working, and I've trained myself to whip it out, undo safety and pull very quickly (without spraying it outside the initial test run though). Sometimes I take an order but didn't realize beforehand where the destination actually is within/around the city. Not that I'd try to spray someone with a gun on me, but if someone's coming at me with a short-range weapon, or trying to beat me manually, I'll at least be able to tag 'em as I'm backing away before running - with good accuracy, relative calm-mindedness, and an advantageous wind direction, this would temporarily and likely disable the threat. Pepper spray is fucking awful to the one being sprayed. Everyone I've seen in videos spray themselves to test just how bad it is regrets it immediately and deeply. But as always, running is the best option when possible. Weapons in the hands of unhinged people are no joke.

I did lyft in San Francisco for between 2017 and 2019 as part time after my full time job but I did it only on rush hour after 5pm to 8pm for three days Thursday to Saturday I had good experiences and only one bad one which I pick up a racist lady. After that incident I stop doing ride shared because I was there no need for me to be dealing this kind of punks.I also always avoided Oakland areas because they where sketchy one time I pick up a 9 year old girl to take her buy some food she told me is a rounded trip in the app it said two people ride but she was by herself and she indeed went to buy tacos in international is very dangerous area at night I wait for her and I could see people looking at her and one guy was kinda trying to get her but she open my car door and the guy left I told her you know that person she said no I was omg i took her home and wait for her to get inside. Some parents shouldn’t have kids I swear to god after that I text my girlfriend and she ask me just go home not worth dealing with that stuff.

@@juliobello4561 dealing with what? You ain’t her parent and she didn’t seem too bothered by it. Prolly happens to her and she isn’t naïve or she would be long gone.

"window of opportunity" for me, would have been when they were both in front of the vehicle.
