I really hate that they don’t have a fridge, wait I can drop food in my house and it won’t disdapear? Cause my backpack disappeared which really hurt me.

I’m brand new to the game but from what I understand nothing in your house should despawn. I dropped a plate of food waste by my bed on my third day and I’m currently On in game day 218. Also food items left in a bag on the floor and not on your back will 100% decay slower, much much slower, like weeks of in game time opposed to a few days if it’s on your back.

Outward is a complicated game to make changes to so I respect that they're even making the effort. It seems like if they make quality of life changes the old fans will say it's losing its way and if they design true to the original game by making things less friendly they risk turning off potential new players. So mostly I just appreciate that they're at least trying their best. This game is pretty impenetrable to me for casual repeat playthroughs and it's kind of grown more that way as they've patched and "fixed" things but if others are getting things they want then I'm happy for them and I'm happy with the one fun playthrough I had for now.

I like the monsoon title screen better. Seeing the other party member in fear while praying desperately for the one lying down, perfectly encapsulates how fickle they are compared to their worlds danger.

I still like the Caldera title screen a lot, I'm a pretty big fan of the region itself so that's kinda got my vote lol. I think the food spoiling properly would be a better change if we had a dedicated preserving bin of some kind to only slow food decay, it could even have a storage limit if they wanted to limit how well we could keep food. Caldera is the only title screen I dislike, and I think it is because it is too dark and rocky for me lol. As far as the food, I totally agree with some sort of preservation device like a fridge. Just doesn't make sense to have such an immersive world that is impossible for anyone to preserve food.

Omg! I had no idea that you could tell what things are weak to, cause I fought those ghost in the tree brothers DLC and I was like fck this game cause I couldn’t hurt them. Great vid man

@@SheenShots I still only have an Xbox one s so I'm thinking of getting the adventurers bundle while it's on sale right now for like 8 or 10 dollars but I can't find any videos that discuss if it's worth it in 2024. It's only on sale for a couple more days too.

Brand new player bought the bundle was just trying to see what the difference was between the de and normal cuz it made me download both but man this game is amazing 😍 I have no idea what I’m doing or what the end goal for the game is im just struggling to survive I’ve been a prisoner and I’ve had my house repossessed nice to see a more experienced finish character

I think you might have a thing for Kazites o.o Also Levant title is my fav too.

I feel like I would definitely be a kazite if I was in the world. Cool pirates and assassins that have the best armor to legacy. Count me in lol. The two characters conversating with hand gestures is too good.

I'd even argue it rots FASTER in your chest than your backpack. Give us an update or a quest that gives us a fridge powered by chalcedony enchanted materials or somethin to reduce the rotting of our food plz.

One thing I would like to see changed is to add arrowhead kits to vendors so players can craft different kinds of arrows outside Caldera. Or to change recipe so instead of arrowheads it requires iron scraps.

Yes this would really improve the bow gameplay. It is weird because bows are so strong even without the elemental arrows. But locking them to Caldera gives you very little reason to use them except for arena bosses.

Thanks for the so good content. I'm on my 3rd run through DE. Arcane elemental's. I haven't found one outside of Antique P with loot other than stones. No element at all. I'm thinking it's a scam. I do like the inter linked chests. When you play Heroic K there is no house to purchase straight off which aligns with the original game. A challenge there for storage. Food rotting is also a challenge as I have picked up food, within half a day before I return to home depot , has rotted. Col our bar on enemies, means nothing to people who are colour blind.

Just bad RNG. My first character was the same. I killed half a dozen Elementals without a single particle but on my latest character I'm practically drowning in them and I haven't even been to Harmattan yet.

After playing Def edition, there is no way I could’ve played original

Ya debug mode makes it too easy to cheat and ruins the fun most of the time. I understand why the travel is the way it is, but definitely gets annoying. I almost feel like an option to pay more for towns further away would be better than random traveling.

I've been playing this game for almost 100 hours now and never realized about the flashing health bars depending on weaknesses. I wish this was more obvious

Yes food will not disappear as long as you drop it in your house.

Just bought the game a few days ago. Because of the magic, and yup its everything i have wanted, magic games now is just gonna feel boring after this.

The magic on Outward is utterly insane. Nothing I have ever played even compares to the unique combinations you can create and the massive amount of fun you can have. Glad you are enjoying it!

You guys (Need) to see magic in dragons dogma utterly insane from calling meteors from the sky to casting tornadoes in the spacious open world setting.

Had Van Outward on Xbox OneX. Now have PS5 n id say the larger font and stash chest being connected made it worth the price to upgrade imo Honestly, had i known about the stash chest change i probably wouldnt be running around with +41% movement speed 😁

The stash change was huge. It not only made holding weapons much easier, but it made gathering food, and potions a lot better for boss fights. I played the game much more than I ever did after this change.

I have the base game and was about to buy dlc. Do these changes take effect after dlc is purchased or do I have to get the definitive edition? Ps4

Ah, there are a few things you should know: -PS4 did not receive the DE update as the console was considered old gen. So you won't be able to get it unless you upgrade to a PS5 at some point I am sorry to say. -The only thing you need to do to get the changes is to buy the Caldera DLC. Its called three brothers and once you have that you get a free upgrade to DE which includes the Soroboreans DLC. -So if you happen to get a console upgrade sometime, just purchase the three brothers and your supposed to get an option to upgrade after that for everything. Sorry to disappoint but this at least answers your question I think.

Was the Definitive Edition heavier than the previous version?

I like that they gave up a little realism to improve gameplay by linking the house chests. 9dots deserves credit for that, in a time when gameplay is often sacrificed for realism. But it would have been nice for them to also include searching and better sorting options on that chest.

I would agree. The stash chest design was immersive but flawed for the game. Heading back into regions just to grab something from a chest and leave again is not fun gameplay ad I think it was a good idea to change it. Organizing skills in the inventory is my thing. I hate having to search for all my boons once I get like 30 skills.

It was one of the biggest changes and do take advantage of it. You can store everything you want now as it will be available in every town, well after faction of course, but ya its a game changer.

Yes, but you will need to finish the faction quest before they let you. Stash chests are connected in all the houses, but only the house in Cierzo and wherever you start your faction quest are available till after that faction quest.

I think a lot of the changes just made it an overall better experience. It doesn't seem like much at first glance, but added up it is a completely different game. Glad you are getting into it!
