Awesome burn in a short amount of time, definitely a challenge in a good way. Personally I can't stand tons crunches for ab work, no matter how much I engage my abs I end up getting a sore neck extremely quickly, even after 9 months of core work, so I'll probably opt for a more varied video next time, but I love Astrid's energy.
I do really love astrid. She’s the one who make me feel motivate!
This completely killed my "abs" ...(they're hidden under a slowly shrinking belly) and I LOVED it! I'll definitely be doing this one again 😄

I like this workout and the instructors are awesome! My one complaint being the lack of lower abdominal work. Upper abs are on fire and my lower abs, that could use help, feel very little. Would the PopSugar family mind posting a lower abdominal and rotational abdominal workout? I would be eternally grateful!

I tried Autumn Calabrese's ab workout and Raneir Pollard's ab workouts on this channel and I have to say THIS video here takes the cake- I started feeling the effects later on the same day. I will say due to the neck strain, I just did the modified version on some of them when I was getting too tired and I struggled to lift with my chest. Raneirs ab video is really good too, might switch these two up for variety. Autumn's is great if you like doing planks- which I don't. I struggle with the form, I never feel the after effects so I don't know If I'm even targeting the ab muscles properly, and my lower back ends up straining even if I do the modified versions.
Best workout ever- simple instructions and Not too long
I try to do this workout at least 5 times a week and in a few months I got ripped abs. It really works and anyone can spare 8 minutes so go for it :)
Astrid has some of the best ab sequencing.My abs have transformed under her videos. Give us some more girl!

You probably strained your neck too hard:) Considering almost all of these moves are crunch-like movements, this is normal...it'll get better as your abs get stronger and as you get used to these exercises!

When doing a crunch like movement make sure that your chin does not touch your neck/chest. Imagine there is an apple between your chin and your chest.

Crunches are terrible for the neck, no matter how strong the abs. I was actually surprised and disappointed that this entire work involves crunches. There are so many other ways to blast your abs besides crunching. Also, the main focus to most of these is the upper abs which aren't nearly as problematic for most people as the lower abs.

I do these often and I forget the end and the. When I wake up my back and arms kill 😹

Neck pain means that you need to engage your core more. You can also modify to reduce the strain on your neck by not lowering your legs all the way to the floor.

Have any of you squeezed a yoga block in between your legs on the reverse crunch try it, I put a little workout together(video: Abs and Core Workout with Yoga Block) if you guys want to try it, it really works your midsection you defo see results within a week if you do this workout every day
I do this every day and it burns i am obsessed with this workout

I’m talking from experience when I say do HIIT and lab workouts and lift weights, eat fewer calories than your body burns, BAM dream body, I’ve lost 13kg in this past year and I’m 15, you can do it

uhm..don't know...8 minutes with the same muscle group...how? and the modification was not beginner or intermediate friendly...
definitely get's a fire in the abs good burn
good upper ab workout but not a lot of lower and obliques
I felt a burn in my abs but it was such a repetitive workout, and clearly not neck friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this for beginners cause if you don’t know how to crunch properly you’ll hurt your neck

wow, really worked my top 2 ab muscles...what about the rest??? pointless to concentrate this long on half of your abs, really is. Not to mention its a recipe for terrible form and potential injury.
After the first half, I resorted to lift and hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooold...my neck is aching and my upper abs are past the point of burning...

Been doing this every day since my last commentXD Absolutely, absolutely love this workout! It gives such a good burn that I couldn't resist coming back every day! I usually incorporate a few lower ab and oblique exercises on my own or add another core video:)

All you do is work upper abs the entire time with this work out. 8 minutes of crunches is what this should be called. Totally lacks diversity. I will not be repeating this workout ever again.

Disappointing. Everything involves crunching. There are so many alternatives that work just as well without the pressure on the neck and shoulders.
too long for most people to do and they will end up pulling on their neck. You didn't even mention this or to keep the chin up.
Didnt like this one, only crunches are so boring
