Alot of people dont realize that Eminem won that last battle as soon as he turned the crowd against Papa Doc. He then exposed his real life and him playing gangster the whole movie, roasted himself so that Doc had absolutely no weapons left against him. Just a genius and a masterpiece 🔥

Probably because it’s the climax on the movie. It’s everyone’s favorite scene. It’s the entire reason the movie was written. It’s supposed to be your favorite scene.

Dre first heard him on tape it was a rap battle tape on em just murdering dudes from LA. Right then Dre knew this dude was legit. It's one thing to write a bad ass rap. It's an entirely different skill set to battle and come up with diss rhymes in real time off the top of your head in front of a crowd. Especially when a decent percentage of the crowd will judge you on skin color before you say a word and think you're probably trash. He has the respect of everyone now. If not, few are stupid enough to open thier mouths about it lol.

That last battle still gets me. Basically whoever has to go first is usually screwed. Your feeding your opponent ammo. Unless you take the ammo and shoot it right at him. This movie sends out a powerful message. That rap grew beyond it's borders. Which is a good thing. No music style belongs to anyone. And everyone should be free to express theirs. I am not the biggest rap fan and as a european white guy i would piss myself on that stage. But i now understand and appreciate it more. Not because of some racial bullshit. But basically because i would feel like i crashed the masters of rap party. I have this movie and i loved it because it showed one person can make the difference. I never seen any movie before this that tackled a reversed world so smoothly. It takes guts.
