Wow. You gave me so much extra insight. I introduced my sons to rap with tupac and then eminem. They got the whole rhythm. I still don't. My oldest can spit like eminem, seriously. It blows my mind. It means so much to see a black man's response. It was so damned awesome how you were like, dont mess with Cheddar Bob!!!!!! God bless.

This scene took 8 hours to do. It was over 100 degrees in there and these people in the crowd are actually people from in the area..

He didn't just destroy his cred, he STOLE it. He made Doc the outsider not him, and showed his respect for hip hop using reference to classic songs.
And at that moment Clarence decided to stop rapping to become Falcon and went to battle Thanos instead

You’re actually a really enjoyable reactor, dude. Good job man, keep doing you. 🤘
For Eminem's battle with Papa Doc, he asked the real actor (Anthony Mackie) for some backstory on him and used it in this final battle so his reaction was true
It keeps killing me to see people in the comments say Em wrote every line. He wrote all of his lines for the battles. All the lines from other battlers in the movie with the exception of Proof were written by Craig G from the Juice Crew. It's even well documented on the movie's dvd extras.

I was a LDS missionary from Nevada that went to Washington DC and Baltimore area in the early 80s when rap first started going mainstream there was Kurtis Blow, Sugar Hill Gang, Grand Master Flash and the Furious 5. Was a definitely a culture shock kicking in the hood but a great experience love the people in DC and Baltimore.
This scene was all the better because Em's opponents had bars too. Nobody want's an underhand tossed win. I loved all of this.
Dude straight up took Papa Doc's gun, fired every round it it, then handed it back to him man OOF
What ppl always seem to miss is when B Rabbit is done with Clarence and sits down to wait for the response while bopping his head to the beat, there’s a moment where he looks up surprised (even a bit stunned). He had no idea he COULD shut him down. We always feel like B Rabbit had that intention from the jump, but he really didn’t. He was just as surprised as Clarence at his inability to respond
Legends says that papa doc still there thinking about what to say. Agaisnt eminem

Eminem deserved the oscar he got for the soundtrack, but he should have got one for the acting. If it was anybody else who acted it, I feel like they would have won best actor for that portrayal
My husband and I aren't particularly rap fans, however, you do see talent, and you gotta give credit where credit is due. Plus... His acting was terribly underrated. P.s. Check out some Beastie Boys. Check your Head, Sabotage, Shake your Rump, Intergalactic.

Best part of the whole ‘rap battle’ is the fact that Eminem wrote the raps for himself and everyone else 😳 so he was effectively battling himself

I love how excited you are when you do reactions. You can tell you're enjoying yourself
I've noticed a few people commenting on Ems line saying he's a German. He's not from Germany. In that first round the guy called him a Nazi. Em said, So I'm a German hay? Nazi's were from Germany so there you go.
Man, 2021, I'm binge watching your reactions...Good Stuff!!

You guys just listened to my childhood. I was born in 1968 on the Virginia/North Carolina state line. My earliest memories were of country, bluegrass, southern rock and classic rock. Charlie swirls them together on this song. It's so amazing to see people who say "I don't listen to this type of music" start grooving to music I've been grooving to for 40 years. Keep doing what you do. You're the kind of people who might reunite our country.
love your commentary you crack me up
Fun fact : Em wrote every one of those verses even the one Xzibit was rapping. And in-between shoots, they had legit rap battles, Em vs. anyone on set, and as you can see, there were plenty of people and Em won every single one... Closest wordsmith to him would be Locksmith, MF Doom or possibly Royce da 5'9, tho Wayne has been impressive in the past decade also.
you look and sound like the kind of person you can have a deep thoughtful conversation , really like your deep way of thinking :)
Everytime chedda bob says OH LOOK HES TAKING HIS SHIRT OFF gets me laughing everytime lol..lotto can flow for real though
I like how he references Tupac for Anthony Mackie. He played 2pac in the Biggie movie years later. A lot of people missed that part.
New to the Channel and just wanted to say that I enjoy what you do. You do a great job and I think you have a wonderful family ! Keep up the great content and be sure I will watch more :)

Love Eminem. You rapped almost as fast as him in the last 20 seconds of your video! Thanks for reacting to one of the Greats!
lose yourself was the first eminem song i ever heard on the radio when i was 12... and fell in love with eminem since... The eminem show came out at the same time and is still my favorite cd... and during all this time i never really thought how crazy it was that he actually acted himself... looking back that's almost unheard of... 50 cent followed in his footsteps acting himself in his movie... but really never thought how actually crazy that was...
Lmao love it. "HOMICIDE" is one of my favorite EM verse.s. But VAN Speaking of ERIC SERMON "MUSIC" AMAZING!!!!!
I could watch this ending everyday. Its awesome!!
What Em did in the last battle was the definition of flipping the script on someone
EPiC. This is old school at it's best. You don't hear rappers spit like this anymore.

EM is a legeng for me... 👍 Dope reaction!
I've been a subscriber for a while. This is the first time I saw this reaction. I think I saw this movie in the theater about five times without my son, who is 28 and a huge Eminem fan. He was in the hospital and I brought a portable DVD player and we saw it together. I am 53-year-old white woman who grew up in the military. I remember hearing a really cool song when I was roller skating in '70s. And later found out it was The sugarhill gang. One of my favorite movies of the '80s is breakin' 2 electric boogaloo. I like the second one better for some reason. I was in Middle School in West Germany when I first saw two of my classmates break dancing. It was so awesome. I'll have to be honest and I may not like all the lyrics of every Eminem song, but I definitely admire how he has brought to cultures together. I was kind of what Elvis did in the 50s 60s and 70s. Then Michael on the 70s 80s and 90s and I would definitely say Eminem brought hip Hop to the mainstream like no other artist ever has. And I respect him so much that whenever I've heard him give a speech and an award show or when he was inducted to the Rock and roll Hall of Fame, he always credits others. He is one of the most humble and talented entertainers anywhere... I especially admire how he raised his daughter and nieces. He kept them out of the spotlight but now Haley has her own podcast and it's shining on her own. She lived thankfully grew up without social media for a lot of paparazzi. When he realized how important his family was he backed off from the spotlight enough slow his kids could grow up normal but have a better life than he did. Around that same time in the early 2000s when 8 Mile came out, I was a single mom of my son. I was constantly I'm afraid I was going to get it wrong. I worked as a full-time nurse, but I took the special Friday Saturday Sunday 3 12 hours shifts because his dad had him every other weekend and then he spent the next weekend with my parents. That made me available during the school week and every school night. I do miss some of your music reactions, but I have learned a lot from your more political content. And I appreciate you helping to spread truth. I love when you did a show with Kingdom reacts. I've been with his for about as long as I have you. I hope you see my comment and know how much I appreciate your music reactions especially during the pandemic. I have had Parkinson's for 11 years now, since I was 42. I'm still independent even though my body does weird movements that I don't like all the time. Your videos help get me through the bad days. And LFRJojo is keeping me up to date with the music reactions
Love you mate , the longer the better

And legend tells that papa doc stills stands there to this day. Searching for a response.
You’re fun to watch!😊
Binge watching this channel atm....it's lit
5:16 is the part in every 80's action film when you know the bruised and battered hero is about to become a legend!!!! True art never dies!!! If em ever gets balls enough to do a collab with RA the rugged man? I die happy
Yes, 8 mile, is part of Eminem's life story, how he became a known rapper. Stomped Free World 1 at a time. ( Oh and the trailer park is literally just across 8 mile rd.)
Back in the day when sam wanted to be a rapper then eminem killed him and he then became the falcon.
Oh man, your reaction to this is the BEST!! I probably watch these "rap battles" once every three months or so. They remind me of my friend, Mikey (Eyedea), who passed away but was the best freestyler I've ever seen. Actually, you should react to his Blaze Battle videos. He won an HBO rap battle competition (called Blaze Battle) right around when 8 Mile was released. His actual freestyle battle rap was obviously next level compared to his competition. There was even a rumor going around at the time that 8 Mile was a mix between Mikey and Eminem's real life stories plus Hollywood contrivance. I doubt that is true, but it would be cool if it is.

Hey LFR. Just a a message from a French guy steeped in music and art. It's really nice to see Afro- American people reacting to crossover melodies. Right now in France there's a great divide musically speaking as 90% is stupid commercial rap and dance. The culture of college radios has been lost for 20 years at least. Being half spanish and half arab i've grown listening to chaabi and flamenco and all the pop in-between and my first musical memory is hearing Cure's " The Forest" on a stormy night at my nanny's. Whatever you've got a great show and if I may be bold you should hear "Ya Rayah", "Entre dos Tierras", and " Another Body Murdered" which is probably the best crossover rap/metal song ever ! Anyways I love your show and it's really nice to see music is universal. If you ever want to hear some great gothic metal with nice melodies don't hesitate to consult ! Anyways great show! Bonsoir ! ;
Lmao at the end when he's saying f y'all if you doubt me Cheddar Bob is the only one smiling
