8 Kids, 2 Women Brutally Slain In "Wax Museum Of Horrors." - The Palm Sunday Massacre

On April 15th of 1984, the East New York section of Brooklyn would learn of one families horrific brush with evil. Two women and eight children would lose their lives in a vicious slaying that left authorities and loved ones stunned, and the grief this family experienced would be felt by the entire borough. After two months of theories the truth was out, and it wasn't what anyone ever expected. My condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of all the victims. May they all rest in peace. You aren't forgotten.

I remember this case in1984. I was still in my teens. There were so many theories but I never thought that one single solitary man could cause all this death and grief over his belief that his wife was cheating with Enrique. He has to be one of the most cowardly, angry, hateful piece of human waste to execute 8 kids and 2 woman, 1 pregnant. He should have NEVER,EVER BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON. He had no disciplinary reports an was a "good" prisoner? Of course he's going to be on his best behavior because the inmates knew he killed 8 children and 2 women, one pregnant. He wasn't going to be able to fight off an entire cellblock obviously. Probably went into protective custody. This man should have been left to rot in prison and not be free after 10 murders.

Wow. I was taken aback by how personally this terrible crime and lost hits home. I am related to someone in the family (I prefer not to say who, for privacy reasons). When you hinted at the location with the street signs before releasing this video, I had a strong feeling you would cover this dreadful story. I shared your teaser post with them, and they confirmed it. This tragedy has left indelible scars on the family's hearts, scars that will never fully heal. To this day, my family member struggles to articulate the profound pain they continue to endure from this traumatic and incomprehensible loss. The pain is evident in their eyes whenever they are reminded of it. Justice on earth was denied, as the family saw this inhumane individual live out his sentence in prison and eventually walk free. My family member and I deeply appreciate you, your platform, your audience, and your commitment to honoring those who were lost by exposing the harsh realities of these heinous crimes and the systemic failures they highlight. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We truly value what you have done ❤

Good behaviour my ass that should be reserved for petty criminals not murderers and rapists. It's easy to behave when there's nobody to victimize or no vices at your finger tips. The fact that a man could murder two innocent women and *eight innocent children* in cold blood... and then use the fact that "he was high on cocaine" to downgrade the murder charges to manslaughter is absolutely fuggin' mind-boggling. That's the polar opposite of proper justice being served... and any/everybody who was involved in allowing that to happen is downright despicable. This was a slam-dunk death penalty case if there ever was one... meanwhile, this psychopath is back out walking the streets. Disgusting. Another phenomenal presentation, Jose. The pregnant mom they had taken out her baby and wrapped it up and place it in her arm. I would never forget that. It was the most saddest funeral I've ever seen. Later it was proven not to be Columbian dealers. They caught the murderer, and it wasn't his first crime. He'd beaten people up, including his poor wife, even after she got a restraining order. He had (SA) assaulted a close relative, arrested for sodomy, rape and more. After all of his previous crimes, he was imprisoned for killing ten innocent people, 2 women, one was pregnant, and 8 children, one teenager all the way down to a 3 year old. And he's been released. Why?

Thank you so much for not glossing over how these monsters are released back into the world to commit more atrocious acts. It's been a constant visceral frustration since learning about just how often it happens. Thank you for what you do!

They knew a few days after but couldn't corroborate. The person saw a man, they didn't know who that man was. Better to not mention that until a name is attached to a suspect. Otherwise they risk the person being privy to what they know.

Senseless 😞 & even more that he was actually released. I can’t imagine that mother’s pain & the pain of everyone that had to go on without their loved ones or the confusion that the survivor went through after finding out how her mother & siblings passed away. Thankful that her grandparents & that police officer stepped up for her. Thank you for sharing their story & for that bit of history in the beginning. The part about Coney Island brought back so many memories. The cyclone was the first roller coaster I ever rode. RIP to all the victims & my heart goes out to all of their loved ones ❤️🙏🏽

I also love how you weave in the history of the areas which, as a Brit I know so little about. You absolutely epitomise all that is good about KZread without any of the sensationalism present in so many true crime channels. Thank you 🙏

You truly have a remarkable gift of sharing the memories of those taken far too soon. You share these stories with compassion, and authenticity and so respectfully. These are truly tragic events that have taken place in our world. May these beautiful, innocent people never be forgotten. Thank you also for educating me. I google map all the addresses you provide, it adds so much more reality for me. 1984 or 2024, remarkably real and the depth of sadness and senselessness, is so much more. God bless all those affected this fateful day, in 1984.

Bronx native here. We toughen up the laws in NY so men like Thomas wouldn’t get out of prison but “restorative justice”, an oxymoron, means this cycle of violence has begun again. We stopped teaching history so stupidity can be repeated.

I was 7 @ this time living in NY. I don’t remember this story but when crack 1st came out, a lot of ppl were hooked on it until they realized how destructive it was. Some ppl. Were able to stop using & the others did anything it would take to get it. My house was burglarized in 1983-84 while my mom, my brother & myself was there. I was traumatized & will never forget that morning.
