Forced To Cut Off Her Colleagues Head - The Night Of Horror In Queens - Headless Body In Topless Bar

In April of 1983, what felt like a normal Wednesday would take a devastating and unexpected turn for the worst, when a man named Charles Dingle walked into Herbie's Bar And Grill on Jamaica Ave, in Queen, NY. The bars owner, Herbie Cummings and his wife were working this night, when the unthinkable took place. The tragic event would result in one of the most famous headlines in the history of journalism, but not many know how tragic this event truly was for those involved. This is the story of Herbie's Bar And Grill. Rest In Peace Herbie Cummings, and my deepest condolences go out to his loved ones. You aren't forgotten.

25 YEARS??? Wow.. People who get caught with drugs, possession with the intent to sell, drug trafficking, etc, get more time than a person who commits murder. It’s ridiculous.

@dennismcconnell4222 it's so ridiculous. I know someone serving 10 years for drugs, ten years for non violent drug offense! His bond was 2 million!! I couldn't believe it! That's more than most bonds on murder charges if they get a bond. And they can throw an intent to sell charge depending on how they feel. If someone is an addict they probably have a high ass tolerance, like who are the cops to say what's too much for an addict to the point they throw a more serious sale charge on top of possession. It makes me so mad, it's honestly pointless to arrest dealers or addicts. They need to make drugs legal and cut the bs. Arresting dealers and addicts has done what to the "war on drugs"? Lol absolutely nothing except put non violent people in jail with a record to screw up their prospects at getting a legit job which then puts them out making money on the streets. It was planned this way. Privatized prisons should be illegal, nobody should profit off of sending people to jail. How is that not unethical? And people can close their eyes to the truth and just judge something that is really a moral issue not a criminal one. If an adult wants to get high (as long as there are no other crimes being committed who cares? That's a personal choice what someone puts in their body) hell the FDA approves ingredients in our food the EU would never allow but they care suddenly if an adult wants to get high. It's simple supply and demand, as long as there are people who want to get high there will be someone to sell it to them. Arresting dealers and giving them felonies has not stopped drug use in any way. All it does it take one off the streets to fill a bed in prison while someone else takes their spot and the cycle continues and it helps noone but the people making money off of Privatized prisons. Make drugs legal like some other countries have done and you stop diseases being spread, you stop other crimes that may possibly be committed by the person trying to get money to buy drugs and you stop the overdoses! But I guess the government thinks that idea is way too crazy so Arresting non violent people and having zombies walking around Philly, LA , NY etc getting high off of God knows what the drugs are cut with and being eaten alive by the latest cut tranq, because obviously fentanyl wasn't enough. Sorry for the damn novel I just hate hearing people going to jail over drugs (especially weed but not limited to it). The answer lies with the users not the dealers so why are we choosing insanity by trying the same thing over and over again that doesn't stop drug use in this country at all. Imagine a place where an addict or once in a few user can go to safely get high with no deadly cut in it, no passing of dirty needles and then no need for crimes to get the drugs or a need for dealers! It's already happening in other countries and is working! Have help for addicts wanting to get clean and a safe space for those who aren't ready yet. That alone would drop us from being the number ¹ country with the most people in prison. I guarantee if this was implemented in the US the next generation won't be full of addicts as there won't be fake presses pills or percocets out in the world ready for a teen to experiment. Nobody wakes up one day and decides they want to try heroin. It would be there to help addicts who are already too deep in and won't look as appealing to non users if they had to "experiment" for the first time infront of a nurse. Boom "war on drugs" fixed within 20-30 years. I can't be the only one to realize the game and the most probable solution!

I am an 80’s baby and was born & raised in New York City. Sometimes, I’ll tell new residents that NYC may seem crime-ridden and crazy now. But it was absolutely worse back in the early 90s, 80s, 70s and before. My earliest memories just happened to be some of my worst ones: at the age of two, hiding in the bathtub w/ my brother bc there was a shootout outside. And at 3 years old, seeing my first dead body. My neighbor was killed by her husband. She fled their apartment and died in front of their building. NYC could be better? Yes, absolutely. But I wouldn’t compare it to those decades. Absolutely not.

Usually when someone is in a alcohol and drug induce frenzy, they don't leave any witnesses behind. Thanks to him continuing to drink and snort, he did leave people alive which eventually brought an end to his horror. I feel so bad about what happened to the owner and could only imagine what his wife went through. But on the flip side, I'm so happy the killer never made parole and eventually died in prison. One less bad seed to walk the streets.
