8 Important Things You Should Know About Yourself

The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle once said, “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” But how many of us really take the time to reflect on our deepest thoughts, feelings, and experiences to get a good sense of who we are? Nowadays, life moves so fast it sometimes feels like we don’t even have time to breathe, much less taking the time for introspection. But getting to know yourself and learning more about who you are as a person can actually do a lot to make you happier, resolve your inner conflicts, improve your relationships with others, and most of all, improve your relationship with yourself.

Here’s a tip for some people: When I was watching the video, I wrote the questions / category’s on paper, then wrote about MY personal responses. For example, in the category “What makes me happy”, I wrote a few short sentences to answer the question! Though it doesn’t matter how long or short your answer is, if you can honestly answer the questions you can really understand yourself better by the time you complete them!

This is my go to channel for feeling better when I’m being too tough on myself. I am really struggling with self love right now. I have a great therapist and will have my first EMDR session next week. Especially after going through Covid isolation like everyone has, I feel so stuck. These videos give me better insight, just a little bit at a time. They are not overwhelming, like some other channels. The woman’s voice is so compassionate and nurturing for me. It is nice to know that kindness can just keep growing - in me, and feeling hopeful I will find others who value this trait.

I've been spending time doing introspection and getting to know myself again with the privilege of time from working for my own business. I do agree that knowing ourselves first have shifted the way I see myself, in such a positive way. I can now handle adversities, pressure and bad moments better without losing my sense of self and worth. Still learning, but I'd strongly recommend everyone to do this. :)

Ive taken the steps to grow and i do see myself improving and i am proud of it~ i do hope you see your growth even just a little bit ~ after all the little step youve made can be a great accomplishment towards your future goals ~♡

Q:3 How you respond to stress. Not very well, If I'm in a bad mood, stay away from me stress! Q:4 Physical Health? Not very good, not bad either. I get tired easily. Never exercise. I get dizzy & lightheaded when I stand up. Also I'm constantly sleep deprived. Much FUN! Q:5 Personality Type? ISFP - The Adventurer Q:6 Your strengths... HMM... I dont know... I can remain positive even if I wanna feel pessimistic. Q:7 Your weaknesses. I'm prone to getting depressed easily. I can be selfish & cold & uncaring, but it's very rare.
