I have no idea of what my testosterone levels are but I don't have any of these symptoms mentioned here. I'm 61 years old. I guess I'll just consider myself lucky. Just glad that I finally started working out consistently 2 years ago and dropped a ton of body fat. I'm stronger and more muscular than ever. It took a heart attack to wake me up. Just start now you youngins and learn from my mistake. Life is so much better when you are in shape.

If you get an annual exam, just request to have your testosterone checked. It's often standard to have this tested at least once a decade when you get older. I'm 60 and my total testosterone was at 618 ng/dL last November. These guys are both in such poor health considering the effort they put into optimizing their fitness and nutrition. Thomas said that his testosterone is in the 300s and he gets lethargic if he consumes 30 grams of carbs in the morning (outside his workout window). He seems to be glucose intolerant. Thomas recently interview Byran Johnson, then Bedros. You think he would start putting two and two together.

Dude! Thank you! Feel like I’m the only one pointing this out all the time. They don’t sound optimal, they sound sick! Heard Jordan Peterson state he tried eating a mandarin after being carnivore, and it almost killed him. Then touted how amazing carnivore is. Don’t sound good to me! Sounds like he’s way out of wack.

Right. I’m a 58 year old female. I’ve never trained professionally; I’ve made clean living my lifestyle. I’ve only supplemented a bit in the last 5 years or so- using natural minerals and proteins, collagen, etc. I’ve carried and naturally brought 7 children into the world. They’re all adults, and some have children. Aging is a nuanced chapter. As you said, every body is unique, and the journey is as personal as we persons are unique.

I'm currently 54 years old. Been on TRT since I was 31 years old. I firmly believe my natural hormone levels dropped due to non-regulation of OTC products in the 80's and 90's. I was 6-1 and 120 pounds when I graduated from high school so I spent my entire life trying to put on weight. I stayed away from steroids until my 40's. In my 40's I did 2 deca/test cycles and 3 tren/test cycles. I put on a lot of mass and I could eat anything I wanted. I'm also lucky that I escaped with no damage to my internal organs from the cycles. My metabolism finally slowed down around age 48. My diet now consists primarily of high protein, medium fat and low carb. And like Bedros, I like my carbs at night lol! This was a great video! I love the honesty.

Most doctors will write you a Testosterone prescription if levels are a bit low or you state that you lack energy. Once on testosterone therapy for several years your body will no longer have the ability to produce adequate amounts naturally. From many years as a trainer and being in multiple public gyms I realize that most men use testosterone as a crutch to have lean muscle mass, strength, and size that they are not willing to put in the work for. Patient beware, artificially juicing your body up with this hormone may increase metabolism of latent cancer cells in the body. The doctor you're seeing multiple times a years and the pharmaceutical companies love their TTh patients, pays the light bill every month.

  • @barbarafairbanks4578

@kellynovak9956 Well, it's supposedly 30% off ANY 1st time order... nevermind using a DeLauer - or any other disct. code. And, yah - They do seem a bit manipulative in their marketing strategies. Not at all surprised the real discount is limited to $20. The free $90 in groceries with membership - is ONGOING - but once they think you may be a potential 'biter' - their marketing emails try to imply URGENCY (to join) - they start sending marketing emails, like 'LAST CHANCE for $90 in groceries, with membership!😮 Or, this...$90 in free groceries ends soon!(there is never an end date, because it's standard with membership - and not a promo that's gonna end. I KNOW bc I questioned these emails with them - there IS no end date on $90 free groceries. So...that's as deceptive as a 'buy now!...only ONE left(!) - marketing strategy. I've been toying with the prospect of joining - but have found that the $90 in free groceries - are not really 'groceries' (not in my mind anyway), it's a bunch of snacks that they've decided are worth $90 - haha (to me their 'healthy snacks' are not really 'food') AND 'groceries', to me, means REAL food - not packaged snack foods. I've been seeing a rising trend in the food industry and grocery suppliers moving more toward this idea of 'healthy snacks'. But what they are pushing as 'healthy snacks' are packaged, processed foods that may not be filled with preservatives and/or hidden sugars or, maybe just not laden with high fructose corn sugar. This, imo, does not make them 'healthy' - or even real food! They are STILL packaged, processed non-food 'foods' snacks. Whereas, a 'healthy' snack, imo, would be a fresh, non-processed REAL food, like an apple, pear, kiwi, organge...a bit of quality cheese, a glass of milk - handful of nuts, and the like. 😊

I see no noticable difference eating 2.2 g/kg of protein versus 1.2 g/kg. I have never had problems with carbs and healthy fats. However, saturated fat does blow up my LDL. These guys seem to have problems vary their macros and with blood glucose tolerance. Whatever it takes to stay healthy. Stay away from it if you can't handle it, just like I can't handle saturated fat with respect to my LDL levels. Steroids (or something) definitely seem to take a toll on Bedros. It seems to provide him that "extra" something that allows him to continue to engage life the way he was previously able to live it. I quote "extra" because he clearly stated that his t levels were crazy low and it was interfering with his life. It's replacement therapy as it's meant to be used in accordance with his Dr and an intentional lifestyle! Like anything else, it may not be ideal, but if you need it, you need it! Be grateful if you don't and stop hating 😂 I really appreciate the honesty and the conversation as a whole. I'm sure there are plenty of people who need to hear it!

Whole fat plain Greek yogurt, eggs, organic whole milk kefir, enriched nutritional yeast. 8 oz beef or chicken once or twice weekly. Smoked salmon.

I am 47 and tested my T levels 2 years ago because my libido was changing for the worse. I got a blood test and my numbers were very bad- low T of 191 and relatively high estradiol at 45. The doctor prescribed Clomephine 25mg (which I take daily).. in three months, my estradiol numbers fell to 22 and my T levels went up to 987. It is maintenance and do have to continue to take it for the rest of my life, but so far it has been worth it. No side effects and my libido came back, and I think I am making decent gains (relative for my age) in the gym.

I'm so glad you guys discussed TRT (and he mentioned being on BPC-157 and TB-500). I'm 66 years old, I've been on Chlomid for about 6 months now, my "T" went from around 250 to 380, then dropped about 30 points the next blood work. My latest MRI shows a complete severing of the bicep long head tendon (did it doing hammer curls) and I have a few tears in my rotator cuff that have increased in size from a year ago. I haven't gotten a response from my Orthopedist about the peptides, should I have the conversation with my Urologist about the peptides and TRT? Thomas, I know you said you are using, or have used, the peptides...give me some advice based upon your personal use please. PS I work out 5 days per week, once per day, applying the "Pro Split" schedule.

You didn’t know immediately that your bicep tendon was severed ? I’ve seen severed biceps, I even had one. I knew immediately. Not really painful though. I had mine surgically repaired. Never really the same or good as new. But at least looks normal.

@@mycowboyways915 oh I knew something was very wrong immediately, but I just didn't know what...felt like a hot knife stabbed me on the upper outside of the bicep. I took 2 weeks off from lifting, seeing my Orthopedist and having an MRI within that 2 weeks. After the MRI, I found out. I talked to another guy at the gym who assists in surgeries all day, he told me the operation to cut this tendon / ligament that they performed to relieve pain in some people, but they then reattach it to the bone. He told me they normally repair it in young men, but men my age, they just let it go...my Orthopedist told me the same thing. I was very fortunate in that I don't have any physical evidence (weird bump or the "Popeye Bicep") of the tear. Oddly enough, I've been lifting virtually pain free and heavier weights. I've started the BPC-157 injections twice a day, AM & PM...just on day 2...I understand it may take 1-2 weeks to feel any difference...we'll see.

I saw a study where they concluded that the amino acid isoleucine was primarily responsible for the longevity reducing effect of high protein intake. They fed mice the same amount but in one group they restricted just that amino acid, and the mice' longevity increased by about 30%. They otherwise ate the same amount of protein, just less of that particular amino acid.
