Socks with sandals. I’m 51 and my mom does this. And they are frumpy sandals to boot. Makes her look so much older than she is.

Yes! Not a good look at any age.

Overly colorful makeup. I think as we age, we begin to feel invisible. So, the temptation is to brighten our makeup. Nothing screams old to me, like overly-colorful makeup. It's similar to wearing too much jewelry. It is clear we're trying too hard. Understated is classic and timeless.

I have to admit I love to wear black! I am trying to stear away from it but it is my go to. Also, I think the jean trends are hard because not everyone looks good in the jean of the moment. I hate a wide leg jean and could never do the holes . Fashion for me is hard because I despise shopping so tend to hold on to things for a long time. Don't do pastels so I'm good there!😂

All I have in my head watching this is, life is too short to care what other people think about my clothes. On my way to the other side of menopause C O M F O R T A B L E is the word.

Too much blush! Coco Chanel should have also said, before you leave the house, wipe off 1/2 the blush you are wearing! Face powder! On more mature women (such as myself), it always settles into the fine lines and wrinkles and ends up accentuating them! Over lining the lips with dark lip liner! Great video!

I only wear round glasses -- except for my sunglasses, which are always Wayfarers -- and I get compliments on them all the time. It's the right shape for my face. I know I need cute shoes, but I have to be steady on my feet. I also wear a lotta black. Bro was criticizing me just last week for never wearing shorts in the summer and I said, 'It's black jeans now and black jeans forevah, I don't care how hot it gets, that's how I roll.' I do wish I looked a little cuter sometimes. But why, rilly? It's all just for myself now that I'm older.

I just threw my Crocs in the river. Thanks Lou, it was worth the ticket for littering! The only exception for wearing Crocs with Socks, is when touring a Wienerschnitzel Factory in Frankfurt.

Leggings aren’t pants, and I wish women would stop wearing them. I also think the jeans with holes and/or rips look ridiculous. I for one don’t dress shabby. Pastels wash me out. As for footwear, I have chronic pain in my entire lower body, and wear athletic shoes most of the time.

Hair, i never know what to do with my hair. So i just let it grow. Now its down to my butt. Should i color it? Should i not color it. My 87 year old mother has a friend that is 93 years old that has blue and purple hair. But this woman still ballroom dances and jogs. I digress, hair? Help!
