I don't know. I've been seriously considering these things since the menopause decided to start sneaking up on me. Going through menopause and perimenopause really makes you have to relearn your whole hygiene situation. Now I know some women don't go through menopause. I know some women go through menopause without symptoms. I know that for my 44 years of life I never had underarm odor until 3 months ago. Like I can shower at 9:00 p.m. and by 8 a.m. there's a twang happening😅

I agree with you!! Those commercials for Lumi are disgusting. AND, they advertise it as keeping you stink-free for 72 hours. 72 hours without a shower? That's six days!

Actually, there are NO real conclusive studies that prove aluminum is harmful for your body. There is one full body deodorant called Lume, that is actually really great for any place that might smell in a normal day (butt crack, under boob, behind the ears, etc).

I believe this could be an American thing at this point. I've never seen anything like this advertised here in Australia. And we stink also! I had large clusters of cysts in my arm pits a year or so ago. Along with some lumps in my boobs, I thought I had breast cancer! Got scanned and turns out I just had clusters of cysts. I did some research and discovered all the nasty stuff that goes into the traditional sprays. I stopped using these sprays and went to a natural product based on coconut oil, bicarb soda etc and within 3 months I was cyst free. So, the thought of spraying something equivalent "down under" makes my eyes water. As far as "down under", that's what a flannel and running water is for!

Years ago, they came out with an, er, private parts spray deodorant for women and they tried to get Vanessa Redgrave to endorse it. She refused, saying all you need is a bidet and a bit of talcum. Pretty cool, though nowadays we'd object to to the talcum. It's so absurd that women are targeted for B.O. It's the guys who stink to high heaven.

No, it's not needed. Just wash up. The only reason I might consider it is to use it on my feet, but I just wash my feet if they smell.

Love my long hair and IDGA CARE what anyone thinks . High ponytail , most of the time ,is how my bf loves for me to wear my hair with side curls cascading down . And I grew my eyebrows back thick , full and NOT over arched .

This is very timely, I'm Canadian and we only have 2 national airlines ( so super high flight costs ) the one I always use just eliminated the free first suitcase and are charging $80 for it so it's carry on for me from now on .

Ooh you'd love compression packing cubes - I got a no name brand and it's still amazing, feels like 1/3 of the size! It will crease linen items etc but what doesn't 😂 Oh and you got to try out merino fabrics! It's this super thin wool, you can even get tank tops and socks from it. Somehow it's warm for the plane but not too hot for sun and takes up no space compared to other knits. Best part - and this might sound nasty - you can skip a wash or two 😂 it just smells good even after a day of hiking, it's some sort of witchcraft 😂 Anyway, have fun on your trip! ❤❤❤

I also.love me a tank top (any time of year) and pack far too many. My singing in the shower outfit doesn't take much space. 😂. I am a terrible packer and take 3 times more than I need. Thank you for the tips however. I always learn something.

also a "fix " pile, and ion your closet is really small and you have storage to also put seasonal things in storage or up high to make more space.Thank you Lou ...you always lighten my day .

Did you see Carlsbad Caverns? That's on my bucket list. I want to see the bats leaving at dusk. You didn't say anything about liquids in a quart-sized bag.

I did not see Carlsbad Caverns. From TSA: You are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint. These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item.

Wow.. i cant believe you packed all of that in a carry on! When I took a carry on as my hospital bag for delivery I could barely fit anything in there. The packing cubes are definitely a good tip!
