The single player is a complete masterpiece, though. Honestly, that's all I expect from rockstar anyway. Rdr1's multiplayer was pretty lackluster too but decent for the time.

@@Mutiny960 RDR2 is I think top 8 best selling games of all time, so its not like it doesn't make any money. Sure its not like GTAV top 2, but its also a 10+ yo game. In any case both games are in the top 10. If you have two cows that produce top milk, why only milk one?

@ there's not much to add in a game set in a realistic late 19th - early 20th century. Sure, you can implement farms, houses, wagons, etc, but first Rockstar would need to bring back all the players that left and make them stay, which means they would have to work for free for some time. It's high risk - high reward, but I'm sure most of the teams are working on GTA6 right now, which is why GTA Online players are not receiving any major updates either. And besides, adding content is one thing, but making players pay for it is on a whole other level. You can develop and add all different kind of heists but what is the probability that people are gonna pay for it by buying ingame Gold for real money? Probably not high enough, considering Rockstar already has a safe route with GTA Online and all it's community that are ready to buy the most expensive Shark Cards for 1 new car only. I still remember the good ol' days when players had still believed in Undead Nightmare II. Those days are all gone now but, damn, what a fantastic experience would that be, with Arthur contracting a zombie virus and returning from the grave to get his revenge on Micah himself. Unfortunately, I've never seen any good singleplayer DLC in any game since like 2016. It's all about multiplayer now.
For the worker's grave stone, in 1878 there was a bad outbreak of yellow fever over the summer months in Mississippi that hit railroad workers hard. This might be what the grave stone refers to.

The "Revenant" is a reference to Hugh Glass who was a real bear hunter, fur trapper and frontiersman at the early of the 19th century who became a folk hero after surviving a bear attack and then traveling hundreds of miles alone to safety. He was born in 1783 in Pennsylvania and died in 1833 on the Yellowstone River after an attack by the Arikara Native Americans. This story inspired the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Some people think the "loud mouthed woman" was actually Molly O'Shea... since she was in St. Denis on a drinking binge around the time that Colm would have been arrested. There's another "Revenant" Easter Egg somewhere up by the mountains in the north where you can find a man dead underneath a dead bear. You can tell he and the bear fell off something and the bear landed on top of him. You can also retrieve his knife from the bear's side. I can't remember exactly where it is though.
🤠i've walked past that bookcase many times but never noticed that, thanks for keeping rdr2 alive for us 🤠
"look at those pair of skunks" Ahh damn Thats why i love mica makes my stomach hurts on that line 🤣
His game is simply a masterpiece. They shouldn’t change a thing but complete all the additional content they never completed. No graphics updates, just that additional content would be huge for rockstar
Edit: holy crap the ending. I haven't even come across him yet in 150 hours, I only realized there was a whole other part of the map I hadn't seen when I did chapter 5. Crazy to think what we will be finding in gta6 I have over 150hours in RDR2 and only this week I finally made it to Chapter 6, and holy hell has this entire Chapter tested my emotions. Crazy character development, and all the little things that change throughout the world in-between each chapter just blows my mind.
Its insane how much detail they put into this game lets hope that gta6 will be the same (and the rdr3)
Thanks for all your amazing videos! I don't know if it's an intentional easter egg, but a fun detail in Valentine's station is that on one of the walls with posters (with famous locations from the game), there are 3 posters side by side with 3 locations from the 3 treasure hunts in the game. They are posted next to the ticket booth on the right
Awesome video, as always! 👍 I recently found out that "The Revenant" could actually be saved from the bear if you're fast enough and have good aim... Also, Micah: "Look at this pair of skunks." * snickers * Me: "Better than being a rat face and a whole ass in one!" "Boiled Satan," he says 🤣

I was wondering how Colm was arrested, and thanks to this video I found out. I also appreciated the details of the library in John's house and the Chu Fook reference belonging to RDR1
I didn't know the revenant guy was a reference to the movie. I was once following the hunter just to mess with it, the bear came from nowhere, attacked and killed me and I could see the hunter running like the wind. FML. 🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀

There won't be games of this caliber or depth. Why? These games make $, but they want MORE $$$$$. Just look at how they abandoned RDR2 in favor of going full time on GTA5 Skins. I absolutely love the bookshelf detail. When I realised this in my second playthrough of the game, it made me feel content that all of the books I had collected throughout the game up to that point were all worthwhile. It’s features like this that I’d love to see continue to be replicated in other forthcoming Rockstar titles - in-game collectables being put on display within the player’s safehouse.
Red Dead Redemption 2 possibly is the most detailed game I ever have played, Can’t fathom how amazing gta 6 will be like…

if the strange man decides to make videos about GTA 6, boy does he have content for years and years to come.
Unsure if it's been mentioned in these videos yet, but if a bear is charging at you, you can stay still, and you won't get attacked.
The letter from Colm almost gives him a sense of humanity to him
That's how you know that you have superb carpenters when they can hammer a nail without looking where to strike it @ 3:00. Like a no-look pass in basketball.
That Micah roast with the skunk was livid tho
How this game has so much details...this and many other youtube channel have been bringing up new details which we missed while playing the game ... Rockstar games is the pinnacle for developing realistic video games.🙌
I've been doing the same thing since the game release, but I'm still amazed at the tiny details I still miss. And recently I've been doing it more and more. Looking around at everything, pausing the game to go into photo mode and look closer at things, noticed details like (at least in my game) two men smoking a cigar outside the Tabaco store in Blackwater, listening in on NPCs talking to each other. Most is just nothing, but some if it seems like it could lead to something if followed up on somehow. It's kind of annoying that the only (sort of) unmarked quest in this game is the serial killer one. I keep saying it, it's a same there wasn't more Easter eggs/sequence like Easter eggs (the game is large enough for them) or more unmarked quests that you find through esoteric knowledge or accident like the Epsilon mission in GTA 5 for Michael.
The skunk reactions 😂😂
I really do love how a lot of the stuff is so easy to just ride by, but that’s real life. Not everything of value/interest has a map marker or journal entry, you just stumble on it.
“Look at this pair of skunks”😂
This game sure depicts a grizzily attack well.

Yeah, when I saw the guy tracking (something; was it a turkey trail?) that accidentally angers a bear, I was actually hunting bear at the time. It's a "plot bear," so it's 3*, so I headshot it and saved his ass for the pelt. He didn't even know what I did for him, haha.
