Is this the best tutorial to watch for the EOS 7D?
Just got my 7D M2 this week. I have surfed videos for three days, studied the manual, and now I find the best video on MY camera. This is the most helpful hour you can spend learning this specific camera. I am buying your book now! BTW I am upgrading from a T3i which I intend to keep for a second body. From an old 35 mm guy (FTB and A1), thank you. Lloyd
I moved from an old 7D to 7D Mark II and this video got me through understanding the differences super fast. Awesome!

Can I use Back Button Focus on an old 7D?
Best camera channel on KZread. To the point and informative. Thank you!!
Awesome videos Tony! I have learned a hell of a lot just from watching your vids! Keep 'em coming!
I was pretty overwhelmed with all of the different functions, settings etc. when i first got my 5D mk iii, I feel so much better after watching this! Thank you so much, wonderful tutorial. So easy to listen to and follow. Exactly what i needed!
I am a Canon 5D MIII user. I love Canon. I really appreciate your advice about the cheaper lenses and flashes. I bought the Canon Speed light 600 and would really like a few more flashes but Im not about to go and buy more Speed light 600's - as you said SO over priced. One great thing about photographers is generally they are happy to help each other and this is very much so about you guys. $9 for an Ebook is extremely cheap and I thank you for the time and effort you guys put in to help us all. I downloaded your Ebook stunning digital photography about 2 years ago and found it to be very valuable. If anyone needs help with learning more about digital photography Id happily direct them online to you guys!
Your videos and books are absolutely spot on. The wealth of information I get from you guys is priceless! Thanks for all that u guys do. So appreciate it!
This is one of the best videos I have seen on youtube, it is amazing informative. Thank you very much

Brilliant. Informative. Engaging. After years of 'grab shots' I have finally decided to learn how to think before I click. What an excellent tutorial. Thanks Tony. You have first class communication skills, laced with gentle humour and encyclopaedic knowledge. Can't wait to take my 7D Mark 11 out to play! Cheers. Sara
Awesome video Tony! I purchased my 7D Mark II a week before xmas and this is the best video I have seen so far explaining pretty much all of the controls/settings in detail. It helped answer alot of questions I had and I just wanted to say thanks for making this video and look forward to watching more video's from you in the future!

I have a 7D (not Mk II) but this video refreshed my memory on some settings and showed me a few settings I did not even know were available. This is still a useful tutorial!
The best video ever on understanding the mark 11
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for the insights.
I upgraded to the 7D Mark II from a entry level Rebel and was about to give up and go back to using my dinosaur. Thank you so very much for providing such an outlined video-I am back from the stone age! And am anxiously awaiting your publication "How to Create Stunning Digital Photography." Thanks again.
Really articulate and very well presented.
I am so happy that I stumbled across your channel!
Happy New Year Chelsea, Siobhan, Justin and Tony. I started photography in the spring of 2014 and you were one of the early youtube channels i subscribed to when i didnt even know the exposure triangle existed. Now i feel light years away from that after learning so much in my first year, partly because of you guys, so thanks. Cheers, Alex from Montreal.
Fantastic tutorial, thank you very much. Really enjoyed it, great video, superb introduction to the 70D
Thanks for the detailed overview of the controls. Other tutorials didn't cover the functions as well as this one. Thanks
Great work man . Thank you for all the effort you put in making this video
Hi Tony! I just got my 5D Mark iii last week, moving up from a Rebel. You really helped me understand the buttons, which now allows me to start trying to get creative. I like the straight forward speaking style of your video, with a little humor mixed in. Keep 'em coming!
I do not usually leave comments. However I just bought my Canon 7D Mark ll, which is also my first dslr and this video was extremely helpful. This video was very well put together and very understandable for me being new to digital photography. Kudos to you and your team.
Thanks, and Happy New Year
Great video! Thanks for all the detailed information!
Great video! You clearly explained what I'd been attempting to learn by wading through the manual and couldn't.

Thanks for giving away all of this detailed information. Much appreciated. Very good video as usual.
Your bracketing section was amazing!
A very happy new year to you
Dearest Tony and Chelsea, once again I am indebted to you for the work you have put into these tutorials, THANKYOU! I have many of your books and am always watching your KZread videos. I have just taken delivery of a (used) Canon 7D to go with my (used) 400mm telephoto lens and needed to know how to set up the back button focus and there you are! Our weekend includes a trip to a nearby Falconry....so watch this space! I know the world has moved on but it has made this sort of gear 'affordable' so lots of fun for peeps like me !!
Tony, thank you so much. I've just bought the 7Dmk2 and a tamron 70-200 VC f:2.8, you've gone over some basic settings of the 7Dmk2 which are very useful as I'm jumping from a Canon 500D! Happy New Year

Ania Murray You're welcome!
Boy-o-boy, Tony, you really know your stuff. You also present yourself very well, your voice clear and succinct; which go together to make it easy for a viewer to watch the entire presentation. In fact the entire presentation was first-class. And while I don't own either camera, having a Canon Rebel T5 EOS 1200 D, I was still able to learn a lot which, as tyro to DSLR photography, I can use all the help I can get. By the way, I was intrigued by how the onscreen message board mirrored what you clicked on the laptop, What editing system do you use? I can also appreciate the time and effort gone into the editing before uploading the video. All in all, a great job.

What kind of weirdos would hit "Dislike"? This is a free and very informative video. Sheesh. Thank you Tony and Chelsea for putting this together for us. Cheers
Happy New year! A little Tip. If you are in the menu you can jump with the quick button from section to section without using the joystick. This is much quicker if you want to reach something at the right side. Best regards Michael

The Best! Thank you
Another well done tutorial Tony Happy New Year to you , Chelsea and Justin have a very happy 2015
Very useful video
Manual film guy with hand-held meter, but as with any gear if you've got it experiment/use everything your camera has, exploit it all, find you sweet spot and have a ball. AF/IS rock as does manual, it's all good and today's cameras are crammed full of fantastic tech. I'm a Canon fan, have been for four decades. Thanks for the reviews Tony, great info and instruction...the 5D3 and 7D2 look like a nice pairing, but which is the backup body LOL And I agree, we need touch screens...
Thank you so much for this video, Tony -- a simply excellent tutorial. ~5Dmiii owner

Hi Tony! Thanks so much, what an awesome video for Novice enthusiasts, I've just brought the 7D Mark II and this video helped me immensely. Actually I've been watching a lot of your videos, your review on the 7D Mark II helped me decide between 3, the Nikon D7200, Canon 70D and Canon 7D Mark II. Price point was a factor at first but then that 10 frames per second really got me... I only have the kit lense at the moment but I would like to buy the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS Mark II USM lense in the coming months. In New Zealand they are around the $3,000, Next purchase will be the Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens and the YongNuo 568Ex flash. I'm only a novice and the camera is probably overkill for me, but I love it lol :D
Happy New year Tony and Chelsea and everyone, I wasn't sure if I should bother watching this, with my 5Dlll, I 99% shoot in M and I don't really use to many settings or custom anything most of the time, but I thought maybe I would pick up a pointer or at least get reminded about something, and I was right, so in the end I was happy I watched the video, and now I finally know how to put the lens onto my camera haha ( joking ) have a great 2015
thank you for this video :)
Amazing thank you very much.Kevan UK
If you say the tutorials is on the Canon 5D Mark 3 this is what one would expect to see .
