I just randomly realised that your channel has helped me get into the hobby more about 2 years ago thanks to your budget switch reviews (as many others I also started on akko/epomaker etc - budgerigars are my fav tactiles to this day :D ). Keep it up 🥰 Nice build. Is it just the lighting/angles, or is the anodisation on the board really coarse?

This is from the OE Weikav that brought us the Sugar65 and Record Alice. There's sales going on right now so you can get it for ~$70usd. Too bad it doesn't accept PCB screw-in stabilizers but you can only ask for so much at this price point.

Thanks for making this video. I have a Lucky65 on the way and I´m planning to use Akko Cream Blue Pros on it, so this gave me a very good idea what it can sound like without the case foam. I noticed you always left the plate foam in. Any reason for that?

Hello there! Sorry for the late response! Honestly on the plate foam it was just a matter of preference in all of my boards. as i would rather have a plate foam instead of a case foam. Did yours come with all the switches? Is there another version that has all of them? Mine only came with 2 and the hotswap sockets weren’t punched out fully

Yes, mine came in full, i believe theres 2 other versions of these one with a knob and one with a engraving "lucky" at the back.

Does it need fb mod for foamless? There’s a high chance of case ping from what I’m judging

Hmmm not really as its only hollow on the corners and not on the alphas. But if you find it hollow or pingy fb mod should be the case.
