smd resistor codes in 3 digit & 4 digit marking system are the same, left digits are copied as it is but the right most digit is multiplier, it denoted the 10 raised power value.

smd resistor is small chip which have resistive material on the substrate and the outer terminals are jointed to solder on the pcb. on the body there is a resistor code for that chip resistor. smd code marking system shows us the resistance value in ohmic format. to know its wattage rating we need to measure the length, width and thickness / height / depth. then based on these values we need to know the resistance package code. and then using that package code we can determine wattage rating, rated operating voltage and maximum over voltage, TCR ppm/c and tolerance values

I was doing one of those SMD practice boards and was royally confused about the numbers on the resistors /capacitors because they did not match with the assembly instruction , the sheet it came with only showed their value , now I understand how to calculate these resistors and solder then on the right place, this is extremely valuable to me, thank you

for milliohms measurements we need wien bridge circuit. or just connect across the current source and measure the dropped voltage across the resistance. then calculate the resistance value using ohm's Law
