I absolutely enjoyed this video, I'm a 68 year or newbie with near zero knowledge of electronics and yet I followed this video all the way to the end which is a testament to your ability to teach . well done.
جزاکم اللہ خیر Sir Every time I think I need a teacher who teach me like this.
Bravo, a typical troubleshooting section when you know what you are doing. Problem is, a lot of techs just don't have the vast knowledge to know what they are doing and they shotgun their approach until they luck up on the defective part(s), if at all. I like troubleshooting circuits. It is like a mystery story as to who done it! Thumbs Up!
Well done , engineer with the knowledge how powers supply work and your on faulting is very methodical. thankyou
Awesome job there buddy. Now I can dig out some of my failed power supplies and see what's wrong with them.
Turkiyeden selamlar ( essessellemun aleykum.verahmetulla)

Thank you so much for great informative video
Excellent video. I enjoy your repair techniques. Do you do any repairs on Crt tvs? Specifically no high voltage from the horizontal drive section is what I would like to learn more about.
They spared no expense with their use of heat sink compound! It probably won't fail anymore. Thanks and happy Monday!

Great video also have great tricks My question is about PWM controllers have some protect features (for example over voltage Protection etc) How understand pwm controller's in protect mode ? Because not working power supply and all other components looking normal. For example how can make "Troubleshooting board for IC" * We can try extarnal power supply voltage for PWM controller * We can apply suitable frequency and wave to need IC pin/pins for find problem Could you make a video for a famous PWM controller's "How understand PWM controller's protect mode"

Great video but a schematic would make it much easier to understand and visualize your troubleshooting steps.
Vrey well done. You first checked the voltage across the two large filter capacitors. How would you proceed if the voltage is not symmetrical across theese? (Zero volts on one of them)
Useful video

Always check the base voltage, before replacing the transistor.
Thank you very much Sir for your valuable information. Sir in this ckt Opto coupler is not used then how the feed back is working to control the output

it is secondary side pwm controller. it uses direct sense line to the PWM controller voltage mode error amplifier. it uses pulse transformer to drive the power driver stage, so pulse transformer provides isolation
impressive!

Hello, thank you please make a video on how to differential between transistor and MOSFET and how to test each of them with multimeter. Thanks
@martinkuliza
Жыл бұрын
This is honestly something you could google 1. MOSFET's are Transistors 2. Transistors have 2 main functions to be a switch to be an amplifier (they have forward gain) Look at the datasheet 3. Transistor pins are BASE, COLLECTOR, EMITTER 4. MOSFET's and JFET's Pins are SOURCE, GATE , DRAIN Here is how to test them kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZH2fo7KOabuZY84.html

Good night sir I have a few questions the diodes or they connected to emitter and collector and what what or the amperage ratio of the diodes because I want to ad Shockley diodes to my emitter and collector for spike reduction so I want to know if a 1 amp Shockley diodes can withstand the incoming high current of of 200amp to collect so but I can’t find a small diodes the can handle that much current so I want to know if the 1 amp is ok I don’t want to blow up my circuit to find out
👏👏👏👍

hello friend, congratulations for the video, like your videos that you have been putting on the platform I am managing to learn a lot, but I have a doubt, how do I change the output voltage of a 24VDC source to 48VDC. Thnx so much!

Waren de npn transistors geheel defect of maten ze slecht?
Selamunaleyküm. can ı ask question, ? can ı do one SMPS adaptor adjustable? Volt and AMP ?
Dear brother, thanks for your great explanation and informative videos. I have a 24V SMPS that gives fluctuating output between 4-7 volts and it uses TL494, I check VCC and it was 7.3V, feedback is 5V & Ref is 5V. Pin 8 & 11 are fluctuating and the freq is not stable. What else shall I do to fix it? Your help is highly appreciated.
