$760 Tow Boat Revival #2 - No Start Click Diagnosis: Seized Engine

The initial excitement of buying a wakeboard boat for less than a grand wore off pretty quickly when we found out the engine wouldn't turn over.
Sometimes I'll buy a boat and there'll be all sorts of treasures, extra life jackets, tools, parts, ropes, and such. we didn't luck out finding anything cool this go around.
My inspection after buying the boat was basically worthless until we hooked up the battery because I'm a fool and I don't really know what to look for.
When we went to start the engine, we just heard a click. sometimes you'll hear a click when the battery is weak, but in this case, it seemed that the starter simply wasn't able to move the engine over.
The previous owner told me that the boat had overheated. I wasn't aware of what caused the engine to overheat, or what damage had been done. I hoped we would just replace the head gasket (something I'd never done on a boat) and we'd be on the lake.
Regretfully, when trying to troubleshoot the no start conditions of this boat motor, we found some severe issues.
It appears that the overheating may have been the reason that water found its way into the cylinders. After attempting to crank the engine without any luck, we pulled the plugs and stuck a camera in the cylinders to find a significant amount of rust on the middle cylinders.
In the next video, we go about unseizing the mercruiser 5.7 liter marine engine, and doing our best to hone the cylinder walls without taking the block out of the boat.

Yes. There was water in the oil. I changed the oil a couple of times before the oil was actually clean and clear
