I wish they would do an actual house tour instead of showing 2 second clips of random rooms. They make the same mistake with Jay Lenos garage (not the ones he makes for youtube but the ones that make it to cable TV).

This house is still for sale for $49,500,000. Goes to show something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.

11 months ago it's up for $65,000,000 again.

This home isn’t in Aspen. It’s on Old Snowmass. It was $60 million. But it’s now $45 million. Comes with 896 acres. It’s called 4 Peaks Ranch.

They did mention that it is in Snowmass, plus not as many people are familiar with Snowmass, and it' so close to Aspen, the best thing to do to familiarize it to people is by just going with Aspen. Hearing Aspen automatically sets people's expectations to be high! 😊😊

I work in Aspen everyday and have been in the valley since I was 2. I'm gonna be 30. Anyways I've been to so many places across america from the east coast to the west and I can tell you aspen is way too overrated.

Looks too bleak in winter, needs evergreen trees galore to make it feel less depressing. I'd take living in the forests of Switzerland or the black forest in Germany o er Aspen.

According to the most recent data from the FBI, the total crime rate in Aspen is 4,032.2 per 100,000 people. That's 56.99% higher than the national rate of 2,568.4 per 100,000 people and 31.39% higher than the Colorado total crime rate of 3,068.8 per 100,000 people.

Bet they all look pretty stiff legged down those ski slopes, wearing their high-end gear.

It's very nice but not worth the price of 75 separate $1 million homes which would likely not be too shabby themselves. I'm sure the land is worth a lot but I feel like the cost to build the house should have be under 15 million. Maybe it has it's own nuclear powerplant or something.

I grew up about an hour away yet the Aspen hills are another world.

Gross. I honestly think I enjoy my camper van more than some of these people enjoy their mansions. Places like this, Jackson hole etc. are just full of empty houses while hundreds of thousands people in this country are sleeping on the street in the rain.

Snowmass is not Aspen. It’s Aspen-adjacent. Do get me wrong, Snowmass is still much nicer than where you live but it’s not Aspen.

Just buy a hotel and call it a house. Edit. Might be a good idea to turn it into a resort for company retreat since it doesn't sell.

These high priced homes $50 mil+ ALWAYS drop their prices huge. Here's the problem with 75 million home, #1 you have a limited market (billionaires) #2 most billionaires would only custom build their homes because even the slightest detail that turns them off and they will tear the home down and start fresh (if they really want that property it sits on) so basically their just buying the land for 75 million, a steep price for buying dirt even for a billionaire.

@Zen White Noise: And all that said, there IS a market for these homes. They might sit for a while, but someone will eventually come a long and buy it. There a lot of very wealthy people in the world. Aspen attracts home buyers from around the world. These are not even mostly local, or domestic buyers!

The view is acceptable, but it's still far from the views you can have in the alps. then I don't see the interest of the house in the mountains so big, in general the houses in the mountains are luxurious but small and cozy.

These homes are in great locations but 2 of them are tear downs. They will only sell on further reductions. A newer younger UHNW multi millionaire /billionaire crowd of tech entrepreneur wants an ultra modern architectural masterpiece contemporary home with all the cutting edge tech and sleek clean line design. Ya because a 45$ million house is going to have zero security. If you even made it up to the house to try and swim under then something went terribly, terribly wrong. I doubt they ever even lock any doors. Probably have at least 3 working security there at all times
