@VideoGames4Days ! Well, you may come here and point out the stupidity of that person, thus making yourself feeling better, or you may spend ten seconds thinking about it and you would come up with a couple of scenarios that not expose said person as a dumbwit. 1) Turbulence may have started while that person was in the toiler. 2) The person was about to shite themselves and it's better to uncomfortably do your thing in the toilet instead of stinking the whole plane. 3) Some planes have shaky back part, meaning if the front of the plane is slightly shaky and pilots decide it's not needed to switch the seat-belt signs in, the ground in the back toilets might be very-very shaky. But yeah, it's so good we have such reasonable individuals as yourself.

Guys, it's a 737 landing, not a 152. He's probably flying 150 kias. Definitely has a significant crab. If you want to see a 30 degree crab, look up some of those crosswind approaches in the UK, where crosswind is 50 kts. I don't think this is maximum crosswind for the 73, though.

  • @BoomerKeith1

Left crosswind, and gusty. Clearly crabbed at the start of the video. Although, I'd say it's more of a gust than cross wind, but even just prior to touchdown you can see that he's still fighting the crosswind.

Are you strictly flying by instruments or visually during approach, and at what point is your focus out the window? Thanks. Great job.

pilotguy707 Thank you for your explanation. As a PP, I don’t have my instrument rating so I often wondered how you handled this on commercial aircraft where it seems you’re flying IFR procedures all the time. Thank you again and be safe out there.

Good landing! Compared to some Ryan Air pilots who are even not able to land this good without any wind :D ps: flew one time at the jump seat and had a similar wind situation, really heavy to flying at this conditions, cannot imagine it in this video, how much all the axis are moving.. (sorry the English, native Austrian)
