@@DeathByPancake7 completely empty of fuel, water, passengers, baggage, cargo and waste maybe... ie., when it's pulled off the production line! I know this plane is landing following its trip to Croatia, but the maximum take-off weight of an A319 is 75.5 tons! But obviously it is a lot lighter upon landing, but I'll tell you something, it does not lose 40 frigging tons during a short european hop.

I'm an Airbus captain and I still enjoyed that landing, especially when you disarmed autothrust, we almost never do that in the US. What beautiful scenery to fly in and out of.

Captain, would that be considered unstabilized right there before touchdown? (worthy of a go-around) ....or is that pretty standard for a windy day?

@@rael5469 A Go-Around is never the wrong decision if you feel uncomfortable even if parameters are in limit. On stormy days (this one wasn’t) approach and landing can be very challenging.

That was an incredibly smooth landing considering that wind. Airbus definitely makes things easy for pilots in non standard approach and landing. No fiddling and faffing with cockpit systems, just the quiet relaxing approach and landing. Regards from South Africa

Incredible. Good job holding your nerve on short final. All of a sudden bumpy and unpredicatble but got it back on centerline for a smooth touchdown. Any more than that, I reckon you'd have quite rightly punched out. Nice work sir.

New sub here. Brilliant channel mate. I'm a medically retired truck driver but if I could have my time again I would put everthing into gaining my commercial pilots licence. However, I am really enjoying MSFS20, spend a lot of time on that and use KZread for tips and info. You made that landing look so easy. Great video and a great landing. I can see the plane dipped to the left a bit just as you were about to touch down but you handled it well. I see a few people in the comments have issues with the camera but I think it was just fine, a great video! 👍
