Fun fact: Orthopedics = Orthopaedics Orthopaedics - traditional English spelling used more in academic settings (so you'll see that spelling in the hospitals and departments) Orthopedics - more Americanized spelling Both can be used interchangeably! Not that I had to look that up while editing this video....

What a talented, dedicated, kind human being. Almost magical.
something about his demeanor reminds me of the Psalm "It is well with my soul". You dont get that kind of energy unless you've been through the fire. Ture confidence has no need to be arrogant.

He seems like such a great surgeon and person! The way he talks about what he does, you can tell it was such an accomplishment for him to make it, and he feels so lucky to be helping people. Bless him, we need more doctors like him. Wow him talking about his older brother. Ahh man, I’m sure he is so proud of you!
Probably the most completed doctor in the world. His health, passion for job, knowledge, approach, having a wife and a kid is something everyone should work on! This guy is a new role model for me!

Just shared this with my 17 year old child who recently expressed interest in this specialty as a career path. Thank you! This was an amazing interview with an insightful and personable doctor. "73 questions" series is a very interesting series! You've done an excellent job with both the questions and choosing interesting doctors to interview!
Omg, huge respect for keeping the camera fluid as well as your mic levels while in the OR with multiple physicians AND you still kept the questions coming - I could never pull that off in one take 👏🏾👏🏾
My god this guy is so cool! More like a role model.
Fascinating person. Doctor is so honest, direct, grateful, and highly skillful. Praise God for the kid in the dirt bike accident who was able to move his arms and legs after the late night surgery.

Awesome interview. I loved this. Seems like such a cool guy.
Paramedic here, I absolutely relate with Dr. A in his reasoning for entering the field of medicine. I became a paramedic for the same reason, losing a sibling and wanting to give others the chance she didn’t get. Hoping to work my way up to PA one day. Thank you for your videos!
The way doctors talk is so satisfying… Like yeah they’re smart but damn, they sound so intelligent and are always well-spoken. RESPECT.
Dr. A!!! I worked with him back 2013/2014. He’s such a gem to work with! Smart & kind 💪🏾💪🏾
Dr. A is a resilient and obviously extremely gifted person. He got to his present position with passion, hard work, and resilience. He did not back down to adversity. He got stronger with adversity! That is the message I received and hopefully will be the message that other people will receive, no matter what your age, gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background.
Thanks! You have no idea how much this means to me.. to personally see someone who looks just like me be able to accomplish the goal I hope to reach! Its very inspiring! Thanks again

I love anatomy too. I had the top grades in anatomy and physiology. I loved it so much that I only had to study for less than an hour and was prepared to take the anatomy labs exam. It's really easy to be successful if you're infatuated with with medical science.
dear, Dr. Agochukwu. after watching this interview as a first year student in college hoping to be an orthopedic surgeon, you are an inspiration. not only your knowledge but your attitude and passion for ortho inspires me to continue my path. thank you for accepting this interview and thank you to ND MD for making this interview possible.

Fantastic interview and great insight into orthopaedic surgery! Thank you very much!
I have an intrigue in various fields of medicine but orthopedics genuinely just makes me smile. A sports medicine fellowship would make me cry upon acceptance.
We need more docs like him. Someone who wants to teach
This was the best interview I’ve seen so far.
I've recently had hip surgery and have spent 1.t day in the hospital and got a chance to observe medical staff. What I've noticed is that the good doctors have this calm, structured vibe to them. The same applies to the good nurses. This interview reminded me of my fascination with skilled health care workers. Was a pleasure to listen to the amazing doctor.
Excellent (usual) questions, with superb responses. Bravo to this MD, his work and non-work balance. Unfortunate as to what occurred to his brother, but the sad positive is the contribution he has made to all the hospitals he has worked at and their patients. Thanks again ND MD.
We loved watching this video and appreciate your hard work and dedication to your profession!
really enjoyed this one, thank you for this series!
Incredible interview, incredible physician.
Yesss orthopedic spine. I immediately thought of Dr. Antonio Webb in Texas lol

I appreciate that last advice thank you Andy for filming and thanks to that doctor in ortho, appreciate it man.💯
I love his last response, really felt like he was talking to me (aspiring ortho surgeon)
Ioved this video🥳 The best part is when he talks about his juniors.
As a patient it is interesting to see providers when they aren’t working. So many of these fantastic people do not get the recognition they deserve.

He's such a beautiful person!

@Bunny Man unfortunately, I got all rejections for medicine. Devastated would be an understatement of how I felt. So I'm currently in my gap year and have reapplied for medicine. And so far, I am 4/5 of interviews and I've never been more proud of the progress I've made. Still hurts that I couldn't go to uni at the same time as my friends but I realised that there are so many people in my position and it isn't a testament to my intelligence. Not sure if this is the update you were expecting but that's how things have been 😅
