For Veena beginners, there's always been this confusion of how to record without external noise.. unfortunately we don't have any references for Veena. Which amplifier u use Ranjani. Ur playing veena is very accurate

I think it is best the natural sound emenating from Veena just to amplify.. That's enough.... Other pick ups changing the natural sound..

fishman pickup is also good. I have a fender electric guitar. It is a solid body with three pickups. yeah veena does not have good picups. You can take the lead and develop proper picups for it.

There's no brand.. just search for irig 2

yeah if you have a processor like zoom, you do not need the focusrite audio interface. I have a boss gt100, rc300, and the focusrite.

instead of the mixer you can use your focusrite; connect karaoke track playback from phone to one input and your veena to the other input and record in your laptop or pc

Madam can you share about usage of Phaser Gadget for string instrument

Ma'am, have you used a MIDI pickup? Long ago I knew a friend who used to record his carnatic acoustic mandolin using a MIDI pickup. He used to say that could generate any instrument's voice using a MIDI pickup. So, he could be playing the mandolin, but the sound that would come out would be that of a sitar or a guitar.

Hi mam Thank you so much for your information shared on this topic. I visited your shop and I have to tell you the people are very customer focussed. I have one question. When I use AKG pickup on the Veena, I get frit sound, hand and Veena shaking sound being captured. Any suggestions on how to completely avoid this. I have tried to place the pickup in various places of the Veena but couldn't resolve the issue.
