tuners always keep the rare and interesting builds to themselves, never would've thought that existed
unique car, i agree with the full interior. Ive had hondas for years and im 35...and i cant stand when people gut everything. I think it just makes it look and feel like a crappier car all around and i feel like it destroys and just takes away one more complete good working older honda off the road.

I regret pulling the ac on my del sol. But I don't regret pulling the interior. It was mint and now in storage. I have a very clean but not mint interior that can go in if I ever want to put it back in. I think gutted looks good. But at the same time yes it does suck to take one more out of the pool of full interior classic Hondas. I decided a long time ago I won't do it again unless it's already clapped out.

@@carvedfromlife8949 I know I'm trying to sell a full interior swapped prelude with no luck. And I keep getting lowballed for that very reason they think its clapped out.

I like the lost weight. But have been trying to formulate how I can make it look better but with better weight in mind as 5 layers of shit isn't really it.

My goals have been to just have fun for the smallest amount of money and have at least a slight bit of competence, And weight reduction is a really cost effective way to make better use of the power you already have and make it feel like alot more.
JR is a cool guy. I actually purchased his civics old ID1000cc injectors for my 560whp Turbo J35a7 Swapped 06' Accord Coupe from him. We operate a Honda Jseries Performance Parts company (HalferLand Performance) and he was still humble, great to chat with...unlike some other knowledgeable Jseries people. Always loved you RL power train Civic. And I hear you on the AC PITA...I'm having a tough time just getting our gutted Accord AC/Heater out of the car, let alone installed 😂 BTW our setup made 550whp on just 8psi... amazingly efficient (not normal) but shows what these J's engines can do. We have dynos and everything on our page/channel. We run a Turbonetics Tseries Billet Compressor wheel 69/68 WITH Journal Bearings which most say won't spool and you need ball bearings...well we see boost by 3000rpm and full boost by 4200rpm 😁 Street Car Takeover I turned her up to 12psi (roughly 650-680whp) and went to the roll race semi finals with (2) Hellcat Red-eyes and a Turbo Lambo..let's just say people were shocked about the J35 Accord running with them 😎😏
You are a mad scientist! Amazing build with a v6 and AWD!

When this channel gets big. Never forget how you ran with these kinds of episodes. All this information is gold and we thank you extremely for it.
If the sleeper Civic had a final form... He literally left nothing out it seems. What an awesome build.
I've never watched a video that put me in such a good mood. At every turn another moment of crazy creativity. have an ACE beam myself. the H30. I've spent crazy hours a building powerboat, sailboat, mini cooper S and E46 M3 with ESS Tuning SuperCharger Kit so I relate to this. SO Many Hours!
Amazing build. Usually the j-series is puking out the hood on these swaps or, maybe their builders just leave them like that.

This deserves so much more attention. The amount of things unique to this build is insane.

If only there where more amazing builds like this, this is amazing probably one of the best Honda builds Iv seen so far! The knowledge he's giving us is gold to the mind and hopefully people run with it after watching this. This is the type of build I'd want to do some day after everythings straight, mad props man!
I am old, have been around for a long time, and have built several race and road projects. I would not change a single thing about this car. In fact, I even love the way it looks on those wheels. The gap at the back of of the engine hood is the only little criticism I have, but I understand why it was probably necessary for clearance and I could live with it. Outstanding.
This was a wicked video, enjoyed every minute. I have a CM8 Accord with a J30 i've been working on and this has been nothing short of inspiration. Hope you guys find the time to come back and make more videos
Very very nice build. So unique and I love that you built it for yourself without worrying about what everyone else thinks.
Nothing nicer than the next generation understanding the amazing factor of an eg.
The amount of Fabwork in this hatch is INSANE!!!
Wow. This is something special. Got my attention not being a K swap. Locked me in with all the fab work.

Not sure what deserves more respect, the car or the character of the owner. Humble yet knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Why are so many people trying to critique instead of enjoying someone actually being different. Alot of folks on here would have the nerve to call themselves car enthusiast. I bet 90% of the ones asking stupid questions haven't even had serious shop experience or the capacity to figure something like this . It's different and he made it work. I save bravo. Thanks for sharing your work . Keep em coming
This is an incredible build. Each part of it is so unique
Love the presentation he has a lot of character to him
Totally amazing. Congrats on such a successful build.
I did this build in 2008 ,I am 50 and worked for honda for 27 years, theses young bucks got alot to learn 😎

Dudes got some mad Charlie Day energy about him haha. Unreal build, even if it does look a bit goofy given the wide wheels. Great job!
My dream car.. had this idea in my head for a while, glad to see you made it happen. Only thing I could imagine doing differently would be adding a interchiller to the intake water rez.
Awesome build. This guy is no dummy very impressed. Everything was done all the way no half assed stuff here. That’s how it should be. I couldn’t have a civic that has the ride height that high but hey he built it and if he likes it that way that’s what’s up!! Can’t believe he’s selling it.
Just stumbled up, HUGE respect on your build. I gotta check out your channel now....
That kind of civic was my first car, red too. So many awesome memories. I was trashing that car to hell and it just wouldn't quit on me. Still one of the most beautiful cars to me.

A 16-17 Accord coupe with this drivetrain is my dream build! Love it.
I really really really love this car. Its beautiful. Those mountains behind you are also very beautiful. Like # 601
So impressed with ur Civic!
ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF THE CLEAN O.E. LOOK. HAD A PRETTY GNARLY AWD INTEGRA BACK IN 2006 BEFORE EVERYONE WAS DOING IT.. DEFINITELY WENT THROUGH SOME PAINS WITH THE REAR SPINDLES BUT NOT A TON OF INFO ON THEM BACK THEN AND I WAS YOUNG N LESS EXPERIENCED. ONLY EVER GUTTED HER OUT BEFORE I WENT TO THE TRACK.
love the idea of keeping everything.
Straight love and respect your work
Man i love the eg chassis. Total sleeper. Never gut gang!!!
That's a great looking civic.
Awesome car man.
You should make more videos. This was great. You’re really good on camera. Would watch more.
Rad build!!
love the car and the video! this is actually crazy you might as well live down the street from me. I'm looking at the places you're driving past and knowing exactly where they are, anyways awesome video again.
Vq35 takes boost reall well, too. Becomes so much more driveable. Torque from low down and it just build and build along with the revs. Or at least mine did anyway. Super smooth, progressive. No spikes. Although the DE doesn't "like" to be boosted with stock bottom end. 450hp, max. Mine blew at 431bhp and 380ib/ft. Bottom end went so I had one built with low comp pistons. The reduction in comp cost me 60hp so had to sort that with a boost controller.
Goodness, the salesman at work. Love the commentary 😂 what an amazing car!
That rear glass is worth more than the entire rest of the car.
Sweet setup
Nice one 🔥
That's a killer eg man u do have something special.👍💯😎

love the car, it is inspiring me to build one

one of the funnest cars ive ever owned was a 94 hatch with a high compression gsr build in it i think it was 13:1 on 93 pump gas on a really old hondata s200 chipped ecu. it only had around 220whp but theres somthing about NA power. it was loud as hell and rattled real bad cause the solid engine mounts that was one down side but man that thing on an autocross track would be so much fun. now i have a stock rsx type s with arp headstuds that i put a ebay turbo on with a few name brand parts but nothing crazy that hit 465whp on the dyno but ive had it turned down to about 400whp and ive been beating the living crap out of it with minimal issues now for about 5 years and put about 50k miles on it. i find 400hp in a honda is plenty fast for a daily driver. get u in trouble in a hurry lol. i wanna make it awd eventually but just havnt had the time. also i have my full interior and ac still in there. i maybe have about 3k into the whole build including the tune and i got the car for1500 bucks with a blown head gasket so i put the headstuds in when i did the head gasket. i plan on driving it till it blows up then ill probly put a built motor in it and make it AWD. who knows how long that will be though cause it isnt showing any signs of stopping anytime soon lol. my cars proof that it doesnt take abunch of fancy exspensive parts to have a good build its all in how its put together and a big part of staying reliable is having someone that knows what there doing tune it. keeping it at only 12-13 pounds of boost most of its life has probly helped too i could turn it up to 20 and have another 150hp probly but i have a feeling if i did that from the beginning it wouldnt be running still lol
Now this building and thinking outside the box. No run of the mill same build you see over and over.
Man I can only wish to have something this sick someday. I love my 07 8th gen civic si with just a jdm k24a swap. But this xar is sick!!!!
really unique build and really got people curious into building something this awsome. also I was a bit curious if the car was flipped(sold)
Not a fan of the wheels and how big they look but I love every other aspect of this car. I had a j32 swapped eg coupe back before they were cool and fairly easy to do and I had the plenum sticking partially out which always drew alot of attention, with the 6spd manual and s2k cluster. I loved that car. Only got rid of it so I could keep building different platforms but that car still always has a place in my mind. Now with the AWD becoming so big, that would have made that car perfect.

They're KB1 rims. From the 05-08 Acura RL/Honda Legend. I don't really care for how they look on the car either, but at least they're from Honda lol they do match the KB1 pretty nicely, but on my KB1 I swapped out for some Enkei rims mostly to have lighter wheels and get some more power out of the ol' boat. I live at 5500 elevation and on my last trip to sea level the KB1 felt like my J32 accord at home at 5500 elevation. Really wish I brought my accord down there instead lol
Nice ride
So freakin sick!!!!
I love this car and would do a lot to own this. i dont have that money though, but every bit of this car is amazing
2.3 stroker on my 1st Evo precision 6765. ID 2200cc injectors. E85. Blah blah. 42psi on boost and made 768 at wheels. It does take lots of boost to make numbers on smaller displacement. And it was gutless until the turbo lit up.
this is my dream. my eg was k24/k20 frankenstein @ 25lbs and next step was that motor.
nice build ! subbed 4 hondaa love

He'll, I'm 55yrs, I think that's the most incredible car I've seen on the interwebnet. Un-flippen believable! Any pud with gobs of cash can put bigger turbos on a Porsche.
AWESOME!! I love a good sleeper. I was thinking how nice that setup would be in a more spacious Integra sedan...
